I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My friend has been in Trinity Community at Beavercreek for 10 years now. I like the fact that they have a package that provides care for the individual through all three stages of care. And if she runs out of her funds, they work with Medicare, and she will have care for the rest of her life at any level. My friend has an independent apartment, and she has a kitchenette and a sitting room there. She gets her meals from them daily. If she needs medical assistance, they're there to help. When the time comes that she needs assisted living, they will put her probably in a different unit on a different floor. And then when she needs memory help, she'll go to the memory unit. There are three different stages of care at this facility. They have a beauty salon and transportation. With regards to the food, she is not happy about it. When I go there, I see that they have a lot of activities in their great room. They provide a prayer service on a Sunday. Being Christian-based, they try to cover those needs.

Trinity Fast Track Rehab has good physical therapy and some nice people BUT during my mom’s 6 week stay while rehab’g a broken femur, the food and water was SO bad and lacking nutrition to help heal her bone she lost 15 lbs. the food quality and quantity was very poor. I could NOT recommend this facility for your loved ones or yourself.

Trinity Community at Beavercreek feels very homey. They're older houses, but they have a fireplace in each cottage. The garages aren't the first thing you see, you see a beautiful front porch. It reminds me of an older home, such as the ones I grew up in. I like that. They are beautifully maintained, the lawns, gardens, and everything. People take care of their own. You can see there's a little competition among the owners of the cottages to how nice they can make their front areas look. Of course, all lawns and such are maintained by Trinity Community. We didn't have a meal, but we did look in the dining room. We got there earlier in the day and saw what was going on. We did see the menus and so forth, and understand that in independent living, you may have a meal every day if you prefer, or as fewer as many as you need. I love to cook, so as long as I can, I want to cook my own. The person who gave us the tour has been an employee of Trinity for 17 years, and we met people at various locations who also had been there many, many years. That said something to us because turnover in these places is usually quite high, and yet they were maintaining their staff. Something they are doing at the professional level tells me they're doing something right, and that impressed me. We happened to come in during a morning exercise class that is run by the physical therapist who works in the rehab center. Anybody can come in from the cottages, or the independent living, or assisted living. There were a variety of people with all kinds of abilities who were doing these exercises. We saw where the chapel is, and we saw the library. All these were things that appealed to me. The only complaint I have is the kitchens are very tiny and closed in, but I'm used to working in a small kitchen, I can do it. I just wish it was nicer, that's my only complaint there. We loved the staff who gave us the tour. She was just right, not a hard salesperson, her name's Corey. She knew when to say certain things such as if you are in the independent living, but one of you needs some assistance. They send their own staff to help you to do assisted living in your independent living location. That is the only place we've encountered that would do that. Some of them said I would have to hire my own people to bring them in, just as we're doing now at home if we needed help. I was impressed by that, but she wasn't a hard salesperson. She was calm, she showed us, she spoke, and was knowledgeable, I was really impressed. If I send a communication, she communicated immediately. Everything was just right on. It was immaculate, the place was clean as a pin. You couldn't have seen anything cleaner. Corey said they're not the shiny new penny, but they're a really well-maintained silver dollar, very well-maintained properties, and very clean.

Trinity Community at Beavercreek was very nice, but it was very expensive. If you do self-pay and run out of money, there's no Medicaid waiver to help. Other than that, it seemed more like a fancy hotel. It was very clean, very bright, and cheerful. Their food was very good. Their rooms were a little small, but they had very large windows. When you looked outside, it almost looked like you were in the woods. The staff was very nice and very welcoming, too.

My mom is in Trinity Community at Beavercreek nursing home. They do an excellent job, and the staff is very caring. The room she got is nice, and it looks like it's maintained well. They just opened the dining area back up, and it's alright. The food looks like nursing home food.

My dad is in Trinity Community at Beavercreek for nursing care. I like the cleanliness; it seems clean and it's updated, and it doesn't look out of date even though it's an older building. They've kept it up. The staff is friendly and the food is good. They have a courtyard in the center, but they have outdoor seating areas and walking paths as well. In the building, they have a chapel or a place for church services, and different cafeteria areas for dining. They have a therapy area or a place where physical therapy happens, and they have activities or a place in the dining rooms where they offer activities for the residents. They do games, board games, or whatever different things they can do.

My in-laws like Trinity Community at Beavercreek. Their community was beautiful. They've done a great job taking good care of it. The staff was wonderful. We only met a couple of people, but they were very, very helpful. They answered a lot of questions for us, and they took their time, which was very helpful for my in-laws. The place was beautiful. We looked at independent living and assisted living. For independent living, it's just like being at home. If you're used to condos or townhomes, it has been like that where you will share space in the sense of the yard, etc. with somebody else. It was beautiful and wide. The doorways were very nice, but you can come and go as you please, and it was just like living at home. Part of their independent living that my in-laws thought was very nice was the fact that you could still participate in the things that go on in the assisted living area where you could feel like you're at home, but you've got friends. The independent living is separate from the assisted living building. They were off on a little bus trip now that COVID has a lot of restrictions that have been lifted. A lot of the members were not there, but it was nice because they already had them out as soon as they could. They had a fitness center, a library, and a piano. What was nice that my in-laws really enjoyed was the fact that they had a pub, and they had outdoor seating areas so you could spend time outside if you were in that assisted living area. Of course, if you're in the independent, you've got your own porch and whatever else. So you can go from your own place and go up there to the assisted living area. They had a restaurant, I would say, so where you feel like you were going to dinner with other people. What was nice was that it wasn't like a cafeteria, they have a menu, so that was nice. The structure is very nice inside and out.

My brother was at this facility for about 20 days. If you cannot get around without help this is not the place to be. They do not come in frequently to check on the patients and it was just terrible. I would not recommend this facility at all. I really feel for the people who do not have relatives coming in to visit them.

The first day my friend spent here the staff allowed a porta toilet to remained uncleaned in her room for over twelve hours , and cash disappeared within a couple of hours from my friends personal belongings. The staff seem to be very nice though I don't see yet what good that will be, being nice doesn't get the job done.

I'm not impressed with Trinity Community. The best place they had just had two big rooms. They served three meals a day and seemed to be well staffed. They said they hired a chef.

I am/was a resident of this facility

We live in Trinity Community. It's well kept, the assistance that one needs is available, and the personnel is pleasant and efficient. Those of us who are independent can be as independent as we want and have access to a nurse. We can participate in any of the programming activities in the main building. There are a range of options available depending on ones' needs. There are nice single rooms, double rooms, or a penthouse of double rooms with balconies. We are in the country with a very peaceful setting, but we're five to 10 minutes from three major shopping centers

I like the cleanliness at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. I spent some good quality time with their social worker, and she was very helpful. The layout was well planned. The dining area was nice and clean. It had the appearance of a quality family restaurant.

My relative is staying at Trinity. It is a very nice place. They are very caring and kind. They give us a private dining room when we have dinner with her. She at first was in assisted living, but now she is in independent living. She is taking trips every week, participates in the exercise classes, and drinks the coffee they have in the morning. She is becoming adjusted.

We visited Trinity. The rooms were very small there, and I didn't care for that. The staff was wonderful though. The person who showed us around was really very nice. There were a lot of activities going on there, but it was just a little overwhelming for my mom. It was such a big facility, but the rooms were really small. It was like a motel room, and everything was cluttered there along one wall. Trinity was very nice, but the first thing my mother said, "Oh my gosh, they're letting me on the second floor, and then I would have take the elevator to go everywhere." That kind of intimidated her a little bit because she has a walker.

I thought Trinity was very nice; I like the place although the facility is older. Their dining was very nice; the rooms were not a whole lot. They looked more like hospital rooms and were quite small. The people that were there were very nice. It’s a church-based place, and I know a lady that her mother was there for about 13 years. She recommended it very highly to us, and that was one of the reasons we went there.

Treated well medically speaking but they lack the vigor that family support can give. It's just a sad sight to see. Very very poor amenities and the facilities were just unsanitary. The only positive vibe i got from my visit there was the peaceful setting outside the facilities. Lots of trees and greens, a breath of fresh air really helps the elderly. And the food was . . . ugghh.
