I'm already at Juniper Village at Spicewood Summit now. I'm very satisfied here and they've taken care of all my needs. It's a nice facility and the room is nice. The one I'm in is a studio apartment, it's not real big but it meets my needs because all I'm gonna do is watch TV, work on the iPad, or sleep in bed. You'd have to bring your own appliances, there's none in my room, so I had to provide mine. I'm well pleased with the staff. Right now, we're all quarantined because there's COVID, but I was able to go down for meals. The meals are healthy, but they're not really tasty, I prefer a little bit more flavor. They have a lot of activities, but due to COVID, they're all shut down. We have a calendar as well. It costs more than what I paid for where I was, but I can get more. They have a courtyard, and we have a long walk out front that's covered where I see wheelchairs or walkers.

It was quite nice, but it's outside of our budget. My mother's more mobile than the people in the area we went to. Most of them were in wheelchairs. We wanted a one-bedroom, but all they had were studios. It was more expensive, and we had to pay extra to get the laundry done. It looked like everybody was very well cared for, and the lady we talked to was very nice. It looked like they had lots of activities, but it was not our place. They had a very packed calendar with lots of amenities. If you can afford it, it's probably a very good place to put your loved one. It didn't have what we were looking for, but it was a nice place. The model apartment looked clean and nice. The staff was very nice and very friendly.

We loved it. It is in the neighborhood where my relative has lived for 50 years. We were very impressed with the longevity of their employees. The lady who took us on a tour was personable and knowledgeable, and we were very impressed. The rooms were very nice and clean, and they were in the process of updating some of them. It seemed to be a great place. My best friend’s mom has been there for a long time and loves it.

It is a welcoming, kind, family environment. My grand kids love to come visit. There are many fun activities, good meals and always opportunities for giving feedback. A nice feature is a lovely courtyard and garden. Everyone enjoys the turtle pond. Most of all the staff is open and competent and gives you their full attention and support.

I really it. It is very good. My father-in-law lived there for six years, and I like it very much. The staff was very helpful. Their rooms are very nice as well. It is spacious enough and very homey. The dining room is very nice, and the food is good. They have lots of activities. They have bingo and bridge. They also have speakers who talk about the cuisine of other countries. They have musicians who perform. They have lots of activities. They have 35 or more people who worked there for more than 10 years. A lot of the people have worked there since my father-in-law was there, and I think that is a really good signal that it must be a good place to work for the employees. The place is very safe and secure.

The food is good, and there is no problem there. I think my mom is having trouble getting adjusted to being on a schedule. Beyond that, it is fine. The staffs are OK. They all have the basic stuff, but she is not really engaging in that, and I don't know why. I don't know what to compare the room to. It is small but fine and easy for her to navigate. It is not particularly spacious, but she can't walk very well so it is OK. They can improve on the cleanliness though.

Everybody was wonderful and great, but for us and the comfort of my dad, it seemed just a little too posh which was great. I mean that would have been really great for him, but on the other hand, I wanted to find a place that might be more of his style. It was a grand place, and I really liked everybody there, but it just felt a little more like a hotel.

My mother will move in on Monday in the assisted living, which is 10 minutes from my house. The benefit for staying there is she will have the same therapist that she has had, and Medicare will cover her wound care because of bed sores. She will be in the assisted living B; that's the one where they get more care because they are not as capable with their mobility. She likes the look of the place, and the people seemed nice. They have good activities. It doesn't smell, and it's very clean looking. They have three meals a day. They provide caregivers that will do whatever they need according to the level that they're at. They will help them get on the bus and go on trips. It's very similar to her being in independent living, but they can provide more hands-on care that we were paying extra for at the independent because she needs help getting dressed and showering at this point.

The facilities were nice. The grounds were not quite as large as the other place, but they were still nicely kept. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful and they have activities planned as well. They do not have a pool, but they do have a nice outdoor area where the residents can sit and it was pretty well shaded with a pond. They also have a recreational area where they have some exercise classes for those who would like to participate and a community area where people just get together. They have assisted living and skilled nursing as well, but they don't have the totally independent living. In the assisted living space that they had available, the room was not as large, but it was still quite nice. And, because they start at assisted living, none of the rooms had a full kitchen. We saw their dining facility and it was nice.

I went, and it was very nice. They did have a lot of daily group and individual activities. There were two sides: a nursing home side and an assisted living side. I had lunch, and they had 3 meals. One is a regular meal, one is a diabetic meal, and one is no salt added. Well, that's great, but when you open a can of Campbell soup it has 500mg of salt. So, I thought it was an awareness issue, and maybe they could wash the things from the can, like the beans or lentils. However, the beds are comfortable. It don't know if they had OT, but I know they had PT.

It is really wonderful. They take very good care of my father and he is doing pretty good. He was a retired Air Force in World War 2 and Korea. In the beginning, he hated it. He was very angry at me. But now, he's very pleased and he feels safe. I think he's very happy and feeling very well.

My husband and I are already settled in this assisted living community. We are both happy being in the place. We've been here for about 6 weeks now. We studied this on the internet and there are also people who referred this to us. What we like best about this community is that the fact that we both are comfortable with our new home.
