Horrible toxic place with very little help for patients. My wife was bedridden and they hardly ever changed her diaper. She sat in poop for almost 8 hours. I was told that if I cleaned her it would be a violation and she would be thrown out. She needed the physical therapy so we obeyed and I was forced to sit by her and watch her suffering day after day. Once when the caretaker was changing her the side rail of the bed BROKE OFF and she would have tumbled to the floor had I not caught her. They were constantly late with her pain medication, once for DAYS, causing her to go through painful withdrawal and diarrhea ( which took them hours to change each bout) and they wouldn't even give her anti diarrhea medication. So there she was in a defective hospital bed that would not go up high enough for her to sit up and eat safely, with a diaper so full of diarrhea that it was being forced up her vaginal areas, in severe pain over her whole body from her arthritis, injuries and then the meds being withheld. And then PT shows up. Now how could she participate? At least PT made someone come change her because the staff was not even slightly alarmed that I knew of her situation. Several caregivers growled at her or threatened her. One even hurt her 3 times before my wife told the head nurse and she was replaced with a different one making her have to wait even longer because that one worked in another hall. At times there were NO caretakers at all until they could call temp agencies and get some in there. Breakfast served at 10AM. Vitals not taken until noon. VERY not just poor-but scary poor situation to leave her in. Practically NO help at night. The alarm on her oxygen machine went off yet nobody came. She pressed her nurse light yet nobody came. She called me, at 2am and I repeatedly called but nobody answered at the desk or any other number I had. I jumped in my car and made the 40 minute drive in a half hour. I raced to the door and receptionist was behind the desk chatting and laughing on her cell phone..I ran past her to get upstairs and as I was 20 feet from her door a caretaker from another floor went into her room after being forewarned by reception. Before you put a loved one here try calling the place at all different hours and especially the weekend. See if you approve of their lack of a response time. We had to repeatedly beg for her bloodwork to be done once a week because she was just let out of the hospital for kidney failure. The food was mediocre, the hard boiled eggs literally bounced like a small super ball. When PT could do a session they were great. They were the only reason she stayed-desparate to walk again after foot surgery removed the heels of both feet. A few of the caretakers were sweet and caring and a couple of the nurses also. I would give this place a 1/2 a point if I could. Please do not put a loved one here unless8 they are conscious and fully mobile and you have the time to come in and watch them yourself. Even then, the night shift is usually life threateningly worse. And yes I am referring to all staff not just the temp help because of Covid. It refers to administrative people also since I went right to them due to seriousness of these details. I took her out of there after only 1 month but we are praying for those left behind.

Horrible place, if you want to bring someone there to die, this is the place for you. Sub par service, food was not very good, and often provide a lack of service for my father. After being there 3 weeks he had lost so much weight that he looked like he was in a prison camp. I wish he could have gotten out of there earlier as I believe his health would have been better now. Very disappointed.

New company management. Lots of improvement and glad to see the positive changes from increased staffing to the remodels of the facility. Happy to see the positive changes from my experience a few years ago. Much better.

Let me first start off by saying this place is a Nightmare. My mother was their and the facility was just not what my family excepted. She went from the hospital to rehab. They claim she would have pt but every time one of my siblings or myself would go up to visit she was in bed. On four different occasions i was told a lie. My mother needed to have dialysis as an outpatient. They kept giving me the run around I asked if they could find something that wasn't far from where she lived. They never started looking until it was two days before she came home. And they never really tryed . They had my mom going an hour almost away from her home at 6:30am When I asked if they could find something closer they told me it wasn't anything. But yet I found 3 facility 3miles 2miles and 10miles from my her house.

Although there are many things that need improvement at this facility, I must compliment the therapy department. I was in several rehab places before I came to Dunwoody, and their therapy consisted of a 10minute walk in the hallway 3x a week. At Dunwoody I had,3 therapies of at least 30 minutes each day, 5 days a week. Also there were several staff, Ms. Mae for one, who really cared about the residents.

There is a reason this facility gets 1 star! I would give them a 0 for customer service and love for your family member. RUN RUN RUN from this place. Your family or friend deserves better! They have no empathy here! I don't know why this staff works in this business. Apparently, they cannot get a job elsewhere. Also, the rooms and furniture are nasty and broken down. And, they will lose your clothing if you let them do laundry.
