I am planning to move my sister into Commonwealth Senior Living at Hagerstown for respite care. It was very clean and it had a warm setting. I was there when they were eating lunch, so I didn't see activities. I had a really good conversation with the person that set it up, Kelly. The staff was friendly, and they seemed to be helpful with the residents. The rooms were nice. They had some that were private and the others were semi, so 2 to a room. But everything was nice. They had a courtyard, which was nice and fenced-in. I could see that they would enjoy being out there. They had a little area where they could do gardening, a little area for music, and comfortable chairs for them to sit in. They had a nursery area that had a crib and a rocking chair and that was full of babies for those who needed that.

Commonwealth Senior Living at Hagerstown looked like a warm, open place. They give my mother good care. The staff members are all welcoming, soothing to my mother, and kind. They have luaus and they do music. The facilities are clean and spacious. They have somebody who comes in and does their hair.

The tour at Commonwealth Senior Living at Hagerstown was very good and very informative. They seemed to have a lot more activities, and we liked the way it was set up. The staff there was a lot better; it seemed like they kept them more active, and the place was cleaner. They have a very nice, serene area out back. They have nurses and their own doctor, or you could use your own. They have a bus for activities and to go out and about.

I toured Commonwealth Senior Living at Hagerstown. It appeared to be a nice facility. The room size seemed like it was a decent size for a single room, and then the shared rooms were OK. The staff was OK. I saw the outside area, the building seemed like it was well maintained, and around 15 years old.

This facility is the nicest we have encountered for my loved one, their facility really works with providing such a good experience with the residents, her previous place was ok to let her sleep all day in a chair, here she plays bingo, exercises, plays musical instruments, has movie nights, singing, and the staff are so nice going above and beyond taking the time to dress her in matching outfits, her other place didn't seem to care about the details of just feeling refreshed, she gets more showering, her clothes color coordinated these are things u look for in care....rooms are private and facetime an option for residents....We are so glad we found this place.....Would recommend to anyone.

Its very friendly, very nice, and open. The staff was very open to our questions. We did not sit down to eat, but we were there when they were eating. The dining area was very nice, it was set up with many tables, but it was not cafeteria style. The rooms were nice, big, and the bathrooms can accommodate a walker. They have sing-alongs, knitting classes, PT, and hospice can come in if you want them. The staff has gone out of their way, past regular hours, and on to the weekends to help my mother in for care. They do day trips, like to Friendlys for lunch, play bingo, and have activities almost every day. They have a nice garden area where they can sit outside, and its enclosed. Its very clean, smelled nice, and were very attentive to the people there.
