The River Bluffs Memory Care was the superior facility. The administrator was there to greet us. She was a really friendly lady. From there, the staff we saw just went on with their business. We could see they were taking care of all the patients, so we really enjoyed seeing them. They have a nurse on staff. The patients also see the doctor, so I liked that. They have 4 caregivers taking care of 35 people there, and that was really good. There are a lot of good things that I can say about the place. They have this beautiful patio; it's really gorgeous. The inside was well taken care of too.

The first thing that I loved about River Bluffs Memory Care was Donna, who was going to give us the tour. I loved her attitude and her compassion, and then I found out that she also owned the place. The reason that she got involved was because her father was diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's at a very young age, so she lived through it. Because she lived through it, she's giving back. I love that. I love the facility too. It was very clean. There's a beautiful area outside that's landscaped nicely, and they have activities for the residents. There's an open area where they eat, so they can even see and smell the food being prepared for them. It's like a home, like hanging out in the kitchen with mom while she's cooking meals. It's kind of neat in that aspect. The rooms were very nice, and it had a good atmosphere. The other thing that I loved was the fact that it's a flat rate. It does not change when the need changes, which was very affordable with what my mom's budget is; that was a huge plus right there.

My husband is already here. I placed him there because they had an opening at the time that I needed it three months ago. They have a big garden for my husband to walk around in. Also the food is very good. Well, I'm quite content with the way they take care of my husband, and they are very good with it. I go there quite often.

The layout was OK. A lot of people were gone when we were there because they have taken them out for pizza. The rooms were OK. The main room was quite sunny and nice, it had a lot of light, and it was alright. The location was not right for us though.

My uncle was here. They seemed very nice when we held the services for my uncle until he passed away there. They seemed to accommodate everybody, and they had the option to sit on the patio if it’s a nice day. They have plenty of food, and it seemed cozy. The room that my aunt was in was cozy, and I think they had a fireplace.
