The community has a visiting podiatrist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, dentist and an on-call doctor. The Lantern at Morning Pointe has several health programs in place, including the “Meaningful Day” program. The program gives residents time to interact with individualized touch screen devices loaded with recorded voices, music and photos from the resident’s loved ones. The Lantern at Morning Pointe offers residents an active social calendar, and strives to include different types of activities to match residents’ interests. Some samples of daily activities include spiritual services, bingo, memory match games, movies and popcorn, reading sessions, baking and pet therapy. On-site exercise programs include everything from bowling and ball tosses to basketball and parachute play.
