My husband is going to start at Sunnybrook on Monday, and it's just 6 miles away. It's assisted living, but It has a dementia unit, and you furnish everything. The people that work there seemed to be very nice. They don't give insulin shots. I heard the food was good, but I didn't try it. The room was big enough, it had a little kitchenette with refrigerator, and a bathroom. They furnish the food.

It is very comfortable. We have much privacy if we desire. I have made some new and wonderful friendships at Sunny Brook. I appreciate the staff doing the best they can to helping aide me in any time of need.

Sunnybrook of Fort Madison is a great place for your families to go when they can't live at home anymore. They are very welcoming and have a great activity program. The staff are wonderful.
