Azura Memory Care of Clinton was small, so the residents seemed to know each other. The staff during the tour was friendly. The facility was clean and organized. I saw one room and it was clean and small, but it had everything they needed. I liked the circle setup. The rooms were on the outside and the meeting areas were in the center. The dining area was set up with small tables for four people. The atmosphere was OK. The residents seemed well cared for. Their affect was pretty flat, so it was hard to tell if they were happy or not.

We visited the memory facilities of Azura. It was OK, but it was an old place with shared bathrooms. It was clean, but it didn’t look like there was maintenance. The staff was very nice and very good at interacting with the patients. They had quite a few activities. The price was reasonable.

Mom has been in two other facilities. Each time thinking we had picked a place that would take good care of Mom. Come to find out we hadn't chosen the right fit for Mom until we found Azura Memory Care. Mom was kicked out of the second facility we found because they didn't know how to take care of a person with the end stages of demintea. Then we found Azura we brought mom here one week ago and she is a total different person! She can walk feed herself and she looks 100% better. Thank goodness for the STAFF at AZURA the are very loving and caring treating mom as if she was one of there own

We offer a wide range of Alzheimer's, dementia and memory care services at Azura Memory Care of Clinton including: 24-hour memory care; on-site respite care; high caregiver to resident ratio; on-site beautician services; electronic charting system; medication management; diabetic management, including sliding scale insulin; registered nursing services; in-home podiatry and dental services and offer on-site physician oversight. In addition, our home works in collaboration with area home health and hospice providers to assist with higher medical needs including wound care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/swallow therapy and end-of-life care. Azura also provides daily behavioral and medical monitoring and is sit-to-stand and Hoyer lift capable.
