My mother has moved into Avalon Memory Care - Cedar Park. I like the percentage of workers to the residents. It's extremely clean. They have a good medical background and know how to handle different situations that arise. My mother loves the food. She says the meals have been wonderful. The facility is extremely comfortable. It has lots of seating in the common areas. The size of the rooms is wonderful, very large, very roomy, and very updated. She loves it. She's not able to do a lot, but she watches a lot of the activities that are going on. She's not left to sit in her room. They bring her down constantly for movies, to watch games that they're playing and different things like that. We've just been very pleased, especially since she was already in one where we moved from and this is so much better.

My father has moved into Avalon Memory Care - Cedar Park. We chose it because of the size of the community, the level of care, the experience of the staff, and personal interactions with the staff. It's a smaller facility. The rooms are laid out quite well. There's plenty of space in them, there are tall doorways, and the rooms have optional locking mechanisms that the residents can use.

visited this facility Content: The residents’ rooms are large and sunlit with lovely quilts. The staff are kind and attentive. The meals are quite good. There is an activities director and the residents are encouraged to socialize. Nobody is left in their room. They all stay in the common area. My mother is a resident and the staff including the directors speak to and treat the residents with courtesy and dignity. I feel my mother is getting top notch care and am truly grateful for the staff at Avalon. The environment is beautiful and art graces the walls. It’s a nurturing environment.

We were greeted by Ray at Avalon Memory Care-Cedar Park, who is the director, and we were very impressed with his knowledge and with his experience. One of the things we liked about it was that it was very inviting. Some families were coming to visit, and there was a man there who his wife had brought his dog to visit. The people seemed to be happy there. The workers and the residents seemed happy and well cared for. It was fine. It was a nice place and very inviting. The rooms were large; they had nice big bathrooms with large showers. It was a good place, and we were impressed with it.

My mother is in Avalon Memory Care-Cedar Park. It’s a new facility and fairly small so there isn't an extensive area outside. The apartments are very nice, and she likes the food. The staff seems attentive, and there’s not that many people.

The rooms are beautiful and roomy, and the people are wonderful. Dinner meal is their main meal, and what I've had was good. We have some activities, and today we had a country western singer with a guitar, but I haven't been here long enough. My husband ended up getting shingles, he has been in too much pain to do anything, and they take an excellent care of him. Avalon Memory Care - Cedar Park is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend them.

About Avalon Memory Care - Cedar Park in Cedar Park, Texas
Avalon Memory Care has gone to great lengths to provide a mode of care that is uniquely tailored to the special needs of the Alzheimer’s victim. We are concerned with every phase of the resident’s needs (physical, emotional, and social). We work to restore and support the resident’s self esteem, dignity, and the resumption of as many of the daily personal tasks of which the resident is capable. Surrounded by family treasures and memories, the residents live in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms in a spacious, ranch style, one level home with built-in security features such as a secured patio and roomy backyard. They bond with and enjoy the companionship of other residents and inevitably form a “family feeling” that eliminates the loneliness or isolation often experienced in institutional settings. They enjoy luxury accommodations including exquisite furnishings in these fine homes.
We provide professional and sensitive care for the physical, emotional, mental, and social needs of our residents. Our care focuses on the safety and well-being of our residents, 24-hours a day. We have many excellent referrals and are licensed by the State of Texas as a small/large Class B Assisted Living with Alzheimer and Related Disorders certification.
