I think Reflections Memory Care - Carterville was a very nice facility for people that have Alzheimer's and I think that they are a loving group. They're very attentive to all their residents that are there. If they want to go for a walk, they walk with them. They don't let them wander or anything by themselves. They're always watched. It's a locked-down facility. If they want to go outside, there's always someone with them. It was just super nice. The people are very friendly, and I think they would take care of your loved one. I saw the food that they had, and it was very healthy, very delicious-looking, and smelled good. I did not eat there though. The physical appearance of this facility is beautiful.

Reflections Memory Care - Carterville was well designed and well laid out. It's very friendly and open. It had a real sense of caring when you went in there. The staff was very bright, cheerful, compassionate, and dedicated. The outside areas were very nice, large, and very conducive to spending some time outdoors. The layout was really good. Each apartment opens up into the common area, so residents won't get lost. Everything about it seemed pretty good to me. It's very well kept up. They were in the process of upgrading some of the furniture, but other than that, it was well laid out.

My mother-in-law moved into the Reflections Memory Care - Carterville. The facility is very nice and very modern. They have just done a remodel. It's very homey and cozy. The staff was very sweet. She came out to the house. She did a review and assessment before we placed my mother-in-law. She was very knowledgeable about her job and the facility. When we were moving in, they had an activity going on. The room is very open and roomy. They all open up into the common area where everyone can visit or go into the dining hall room.

I like that the bedrooms at Reflections Memory Care - Carterville opened up into the common areas. The person who toured us was perfect. They provide them all their meals, snacks, and there's a patio right there.

My mother moved to Reflections Memory Care. We chose it because of the staffing and the community itself. I haven't been able to go in there because of the virus, but they seem efficient. They seem to know what they're doing and they're willing to do their jobs appropriately. I haven't seen the food, but I've been told it's good. They have a pretty good activity plan. They do Bingo, deer hunting game, and puzzles. He's only been there a week. The staff is open. They're willing to tell you what's going on, and they don't seem to be hiding anything. It's accessible and pretty easy to get to.

My dad has been in Reflections Memory Care for a little while now. It is in lockdown because of the coronavirus, but we are able to go visit from the outside. They bring him to a window and we can say hi from a distance. We talk to him through the window, but we have not been able to go in and see his room. That's disappointing, but very good because they're trying their best. They have had no cases there and they're keeping the residents safe. I really am impressed with the staff at this point in time. They're also really good about calling my mother and telling her whenever there's anything she needs to know about my dad. They're really good. The outside is beautiful. They have a lovely landscape and a lake out front with a fountain. Out back there is also a patio, but we haven't been able to use it yet because of the lockdown. There is a covered drive-thru area for the entrance, and that's where we go sit and see my dad. My dad says the food is really good. So far from what we have seen the value for money seems to be good; however, we haven't seen all the facilities yet.
