I put my Mom in Oxford Glen Memory Care in January, she recently passed away. While she was there it was hard because there I saw some of the employees being hateful to the some of the residents there, one the residents said they were being mean to my Mom and that something happened to my Mom, that she got hurt. He seemed upset about it, but he was not able to explain it. My Mother had several items stolen from her while she was there. These residents depend on the staff there for everything, they are broken and sad, they don’t deserve to be treated badly. There were some good things they did for my Mom, it wasn’t all bad. I don’t think anyone is going to treat our love ones as the people that truly love them.

My mother was at this facility and we tried so hard to love it. We moved her in during COVID and could not see her room. After 3 months we were able to visit and realized some of her furniture and things were missing and no one knew where they were. From there it was all downhill. Staff is more concerned with their phones than with care for their patients. We were told she would be checked on regularly, but after installing cameras in her room we realized she was hardly ever checked on. The staff does not speak kindly to the residents and commands them like children. It is not a comfortable and nice place to live.

Maintance is HORRIABLE!!!!!They leave broken toilet seats on for the elders.Air vents in the ac full of dust.Showers have no water pressure and barely warm water.So your loved one probally gets a cold as shower most of the time.I pay 4200.00 a month. I will say this is the worst of it.The people there are compassionate and love the residents.Some of the aides are rude the elders as they loose patients with them.Witness this with my own eyes.But I wil tell you this the executive director is AMAZING and she can only do so much .She has 5 houses to manage.Staffing is horrible the owners should be ashmed of themselves.All that money coming in.Staff up dude.The community is very nice and I am glad I chose this place for my dad and mom.It is 100% better than the facilty we came from.Activities if your LO is not involved they leave them in the houses and dont try.

My father is in Oxford Glen Memory Care at Carrollton. They have very good staff, and I'm very impressed with the quality of care. Everybody that I've encountered has just been really good. Upkeep is very good. Everything about it is very impressive to me. Their meals are fabulous. There are many activities throughout the day, and there's quite a variety. They've got fitness programs.

No nursing care facility is perfect, but I have had my parents here for almost two years and have not had to move them. Most other residents I know have had to move their parents 2-3 times from facility to facility. There are a couple of reasons that I think Oxford Glenn is great. First and foremost I have had a wonderful experience with the day to day care staff. The vast majority of them are kind and caring. They interact with the patients - they sing with the ones that like that - they hug the ones that like that ..they have taken my mother from being withdrawn (she did not want to have to go into memory care) to coming out to activities. They were compassionate nursing my father until his death and were very comforting to me as well. The new activity people they have are wonderful and I very much like the layout of the place. The buildings are divided into houses - each house is arranged in a horseshoe so that the residents can find their rooms more easily and when they are confused staff can actually see them (no long hallway and twists and turns) and help them. So, from my experience, I would rate the place highly.

This place is not what it claims. Skeleton crews that are untrained and show little care and concern for well bring of residents. Food mediocre. No activities as described. TV is controlled by employees to match their interests.

This is the best facility that I have found for my mother in north Texas! She has Alzheimer's and is so well cared for that I never worry about how she is because I know she has the best care anywhere from Oxford Glen! It is one of the first of its kind to have 5 residences in one facility that are actual homes with all the comforts home with the same feel as your own home. They are beautiful and well cared for and the staff really know what they are doing! I have visited every facility in the DFW area and would only recommend one place and this is it! I absolutely love the staff and owners! They are attentive to each persons special needs. You have to see it for yourself!
