I'm in Stilwell Retirement. It's wonderful. Everyone is happy. It's just a nice environment. A lot of the residents are retired teachers. The staff is wonderful down to the people in the dining room. They're so warm. It is unbelievable really. My room has a nice large bath and shower, and it's freshly painted and carpeted. There are windows looking out. It's nice. It has a refrigerator and a microwave. They have a garden. The food is good. It's spotless.

Stilwell Retirement was inviting, warm, kind, loving, thought out, intimate, and a place where someone could grow and build a friendship. I haven't tasted the food yet, but I guarantee it's good. My husband and I were both so impressed. We like the library, the little shopping room, and the game area, and we love the chapel with the worship service. The staff was incredible. The things that they had put their heart into come from a heart of sincerity and that's what makes the place wonderful. The apartments were roomy and safe and I felt like the location was safe. It had a lot of things close by like there's a walking trail right across the street that the church donated for them to be able to walk on. There's shopping within 5 minutes and the shuttle transportation was awesome. I just was very impressed with the close-knit community of that place.

I liked Stilwell Retirement. If I had been able to pick one for my cousin, I might have chosen that one just because I thought it was not as lively. It seemed very comfortable. They had a few things that they had thought about, like they had a separate storage area inside the building for seasonal things. It was good if you wanted to just keep your summer things in your apartment, store your winter things, or store Christmas decorations. They had that available in the building. It was a little more homey. They had some activities. They had a library. They had excursions that you could go on, and they would take you places.

Stilwater is an Excellent Retirement Home! The Staff and food are wonderful. The care of their residents is outstanding! There is a bus for transportation if needed, in the facility there is a large dining area, large Sunroom with puzzle stations, 2 open areas to visit or rest, small store, library, workout room, a chapel and a salon for hair appointments. Each wing has a large area to visit or play games, cards etc.. They have various activities, bingo and movie nights. The residents are friendly and treat each other like family and help each out whenever needed. My Aunt and Uncle have been there for several years and absolutely LOVE it!

I was able to tour the Stilwell Retirement Residence about 2 years ago. It was great. We did not meet the staff, but we met the volunteer that ate lunch with us and showed us around. We met one of the residents, and she was lovely. The rooms were great and so were the common areas. They have only one level of care there. Although there are some on walkers and all, you have to be independent. It's right by a public library and shopping area, and it had a beautiful residential area. They've got a salon, a workout area, a library, and a beautiful sunroom.

Stilwell Retirement had a nice family kind of feeling. Everybody's really nice. If I were to decide to live in one of those places, it would be here. The folks were friendly. It's just a nice atmosphere. When I walked into the place, people behind the desk said, "We're expecting you," which was a nice feeling. The guy that runs the place came up and we went into a TV room and the residents sat and talked with me. Lunch was served and it was good.
