My parents moved in 2 years ago and have been very happy living here. The staff and residents are always friendly and helpful. My dad has made numerous friends! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and the views are spectacular. The chef has been there 30 years and the food is delicious with an Italian twist. I can't even express how happy I am that they have found a place to call home.

We have chosen Cogir of Vallejo Hills Senior Living because it's gorgeous. The amenities are just wonderful. They have three meals a day. It's inclusive. Of course, they have activities. The apartment we will have is gorgeous. It looks out over the most beautiful view towards the mountain. It's over this big valley and furthest away is this beautiful mountain. The views are astounding. There is a beautiful courtyard area that is green and gorgeous. I can't say enough about it. We've eaten there a couple of times, and the food is very good. The only slight complaint I have is that I am vegan, they would do as much as they can to accommodate me, but they don't have a full vegan menu. The staff members were warm, welcoming, and fun.

My mom recently moved in last month and we both couldn’t be happier. She was living alone in poor health down in Los Angeles about to hit the big 80 and just feeling lonely. She finally gave me the green light to find her a place closer to me and I jumped on it. I knew the minute I stepped into Cogir that this was the place. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, the staff are all amazing going out of their way to make sure not only my mom feels happy but me as well. As long as you are able to care for your pet you can have one,. The food is great, they have many activities, spiritual service on Sundays, social hours, a nice library, hair dresser, and nice views from the apartments, some even have bay views. . My mom’s old apartment in LA had a view of a wall. Now she can look out her window and see birds hanging out in the trees and bushes. She and I both feel she is safe and well cared for.

Cogir of Vallejo Hills Senior Living has both assisted living and independent living, but they don't have memory care. The appearance was very nice. The staff was very sweet. They have a nice restaurant. The only thing, in my situation, where the room that was available, you had to go down the hall, down an elevator, down another hall, so somebody who's confused would be hard to find the restaurant, but to a regular person, it'd be fine. They had a lot of games and activities, they had bingo, and they had movies. I saw a studio and it was very large and you can have a pet there. They provide three meals a day. From what I was told, their chefs are from the culinary school in Napa. The facility was nice.

We toured Cogir of Vallejo Hills. They have a very friendly staff and all the staff I saw were very happy to help. The two rooms we looked at were both very nice. One was in the process of being repainted. They had fairly nice layouts, and were of good size. Considering that there were so many things to do outside of the apartment, it didn't feel that small. We weren't sure how we were going to handle the hotplate and refrigerator. It seems like I'm going to have to get rid of most of my kitchen equipment. We stayed for lunch and the food was very good. I thought a couple of things could have used more salt, but that's probably a dietary thing that they observe. They showed us the salon that my wife will be able to use to get her hair done, manicures and pedicures, and things like that. I don't know if there was an exercise room. We noticed that they have a chapel where a priest comes in and does mass regularly. It seemed like they would fix something on demand at times when it comes to food. I saw a few exterior spots where it looks like they need maintenance like some deteriorating lumber outside. I don't know how hard they keep track of that.

My parents recently moved to here and I had the opportunity to visit them this past week. This place is absolutely wonderful and so beautiful. The sense of community is strong with many activities and everyone you meet has nothing but great things to say about this place. My mom and dad have an updated 2-bedroom unit that walks out onto the most beautiful greenbelt. The grounds are gorgeous with all kinds of flowers and mature trees. The unit is spacious and filled with natural light and more than enough room for them. Don't even get me started on the food! I had 2 meals with them, and each meal was outstanding. They have an Italian chef which truly knows what he's doing! It provides me with so much peace of mind knowing they are in such a comfortable and caring place. If you are looking for a place for someone, make sure to add this to the top of your list. It's 10/101

My mother will be moving into Cogir of Vallejo Hills Senior Living. The facility was really beautiful. It was a nice, quiet, and very safe area. It was bustling with activity. It wasn't people walking around with nothing to do, looking bored or anything. People were interacting with each other. They had a lot of activities as far as taking people to plays and things of that nature. I saw that and my mom saw that and she was like, "This is perfect." Plus, it's not one of those hospital-like facilities. You have your own apartment and they come and they take care of certain things. They give discounts to vets. I thought that was awesome. It was a great place. They have a studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom, but my mom got a one-bedroom. The staff was awesome and very helpful. They even offered my mom lunch, so it was really good. The place is on a hill though, but you can look out of it.

Cogir of Vallejo Hills Senior Living is an established community. It's been around for a long time. So, the atmosphere is very homey and comfortable. You see the residents around and you can feel the community there. We had a good experience with the admin. My in-laws said they're very kind and helpful. Their room is big enough for the two of them. They have a closet and I think it's just right for two people. They offer activities and it's up to them if they want to join or not. They've made friends with other residents and they kind of do their thing as well within the facility. They are happy with the food. They compliment the chef a lot. I think his name is Severio. So, it's a good facility.
