The Hamptons At Greenridge was very nice, I can't think of anything I did not like about it. They have a fitness center, a salon, and a courtyard. The person who gave the tour was warm and personable, she stayed with us the entire time and eat lunch with us. The food there was good, and we had a good dining experience. They just don't have vegetarian food. The facility looks newer than the other places we've toured. It's located near a college but it wasn't close to shopping if you drove, but they offer transportation.

I loved The Hamptons At Greenridge, but it was just a little too pricey. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The menu looked great. Everybody there was just extremely friendly. The rooms were also fantastic.

I thought The Hamptons At Greenridge was a very nice facility. But I don't think that it would be anything we would choose in the future, just because they're independent living. I didn't see the point of it since I just expected something different, I guess. We saw the villas, and I thought they were overpriced. I don't see what the attraction to being independent living was if you lived there. The only thing that was attractive about it was that it seemed safe. But I don't see why you would need to pay $3,000 for that square footage if you weren't getting more benefits. There was no food, and the staff didn't even mention housekeeping, I don't know if there was any. If you were independent living, why you choose to spend $3,000 and not have any equity built. They had like a cafeteria set up for their apartment dwellers that were paying for meals or anybody on the facility. It was there in the main building. They had a little gift shop, a drug store-type thing, a library, a game activity area, and a beauty shop. The receptionist was very friendly. I didn't see any activities; I saw about eight or ten people who were sitting in chairs waiting for lunch. They were just lined up, getting ready to go into a cafeteria line rather like a nursing home-type situation. It wasn't pleasing to me. They did have a bus that you could sign up for that was going to Walmart or going to the mall or whatever. They had that available to anybody on the premises. They called it a gated community, and it did have gates. But the two times that we were there, none of the gates were locked. It was all open, so maybe at night, they close it.

I was really happy with The Hamptons At Greenridge. One of the nurses that took me around was very friendly and very thorough. She showed me all the different areas of the place and the rooms and everything. The rooms were pretty nice. They've got pretty much everything you need. The living atmosphere seemed very nice, relaxed, and seemed like a very good place. It was also very well maintained.

We are very pleased with The Hamptons At Greenridge. The staff is wonderful and the food is terrific. We have a first-floor apartment that's not too far away from the dining room, the activities, and the mailboxes. There are great grounds outside for walking our dog. The people here are very friendly and very alert to any questions we ask. There's a menu for the week and we have to choose between lunch and supper. Sometimes we eat both, and they give us choices. There are games going on like bingo, hand & foot, and several others. They also offer a craft class and an art class. My husband is a priest and he has started an evening prayer one day a week here that's been off to a very good start. They have bus trips to grocery stores or Wal-Mart. Sometimes every Friday, they take a busload to an area restaurant for an eat out. There are quite a lot of activities. They even have movies a couple of times a week and exercise classes.

We went to The Hamptons At Greenridge. The people that we met were lovely, lovely people. They were so courteous and so anxious to show us everything that they could. We enjoyed our visit very much. We went to the assisted living. The person that took us around was most courteous, and very knowledgeable and she answered every question that we had. She seemed to love her job. The place was very clean, and the layout was nice for assisted living. They have a small refrigerator and a microwave in the room. They all have visual access to their lovely courtyard. Many of the guests, who have patios, have bird feeders, special flowers, and potted plants on their patio. The ones who don't have a patio, still outside their windows, will put bird feeders and have some plants out there as well. They covered their bases there. The courtyard is lovely.
