The Waterford at Ironbridge was very, very good. The place was beautiful. They had musicians playing country music and country hymns, the room was crowded, and everybody was very cheerful about it. The band was very good. Good music. The rooms were nice. They were large, well-lit, and in excellent repair. I used the restroom and I was very pleased. I think they had a pool and an exercise room. They had a beautiful library.

My mother lives at Waterford at Ironbridge and I live in St Louis. Even though I am three hours away I feel very confident in the care my mother is given. She is very happy with the activities and cleanliness and it is all done with such kindness and patience by the staff. And the facilities are beautiful and well taken care of.

I drove around the building last week and felt the location to be cramped, with other developments right up to the property line (except for on the golf course end), but when I visited today I got a completely different impression. Property staff at the front desk were ready for my tour appointment, even though the normal person who gives tours was out today. I toured with the property manager, who was professional and thorough. The facility is large inside, with a spacious lobby and dining area and halls that are long enough to provide good walking exercise no matter what the weather outside. The rooms (I saw a studio and a 1BR) were large and modern. They fed me lunch and although the portions were smaller than I anticipated they were really just the right size for what I should be eating anyway. Lunch --including dessert--was delicious! Each meal is served for a 2-hour period and there are snacks available for in between times. I was very favorably impressed with The Waterford and the professionalism of all the staff I saw.

I just spent a few days with Mom at Ironbridge and was pleased with the energy and general happiness of your residents and staff after the long months of pandemic, quarantine, restrictions, etc. Everyone just seemed to have a "new lease on life" since my last visit a few months ago. I love the new paint colors, flooring and carpet. It makes the facility bright and cheerful although the sound does now "bounce around" a bit in the dining room with the new tile floors. I have to compliment your chef. He knows exactly what every resident usually wants for breakfast and he double checks if they order something different. The server John is most helpful and very courteous to the residents. I did notice that some of the residents with arthritic fingers and vision problems have difficulty opening the butter and cream packets, sometimes setting them aside after futile attempts to open them. I don't know whether health department regulations would allow any packaging simpler to access. Your Activities Director is to be commended. She really works to engage all of the participants in the activity presented. She has such a positive encouraging attitude and amazing patience. Mom and I took a walk outside every day and your grounds are immaculate. The outdoor seating along the sidewalks is spaced just right for a quick rest. All that said to say: I enjoyed my visit with Mom. This week my daughter is flying in for her first visit with Mom since she moved to Ironbridge so I am anxious to learn her impressions of her Grandma's new home.

When I decided that I was tired of living alone and eating my own cooking I started a search for a new home. I toured several local independent living facilities. Most had an institutional feel. The Waterford struck me as a Big Old Grand Hotel and it felt like home.

My mother is at The Waterford at Ironbridge. It's been fine. It's a very clean place, and the people are very nice. Mom seems to enjoy it, so that's all that matters. The price was good. It was less expensive than some places. We like them. We've eaten there several times, and they have a variety of food. They have a main meal. If you don't like that, there's a selection you can choose from a menu. The food I had was good. They have activities and transportation to doctors' appointments and things like that. They have games and sometimes they have music or different performers. They just totally remodeled it.

We're really happy with The Waterford at Ironbridge. It seems like a really good value for the price. It's convenient and clean, and the meals are good. The staff has been very supportive in getting my sister settled in. I was very pleased with the location because it's right next to a golf course, so it gives her a green space to look out. The price was lower because it is a small one-bedroom, but it still has enough space. The front room is big, the bedroom is a little small, but she just has a twin bed, so it's OK. They have music groups come in. My sister has just been there one day, so she hasn't experienced any of the activities yet. It looks like they have an activity every day. They have yoga every morning, games, a popcorn social, a fingernail clinic, a trip to the zoo, and candlelight dinners once a month, which is a nice touch. They have Wii bowling and hydration education. They have a full schedule that's available. They have a garden club and there's a library. For June, they were having $1500 off. So, it was only $500 to get started and that was refundable if you changed your mind within the next three weeks or so, through June.

I liked The Waterford at Ironbridge. The staff was very nice. The dining area looked very, very nice. It is spacious. It looks like a very nice restaurant area. I liked the apartment, very nice, it had a nice little kitchen. It was very clean. They have facilities for crafts, exercise, entertainment, and laundry facilities.

We went to The Waterford at Ironbridge yesterday. It was clean, it had no odor, it was well lit, and it was friendly. The residents that we did see either waved or smiled or said: "We like it here." They have adequate amenities. The residents appeared to be content. They have a library, they have a salon, and they have exercise pets. They allowed pets. They have parking available. The cost was a little bit more than the others.

I toured The Waterford at Ironbridge. The sales person was pleasant and helpful, but the tour did not go very well for me. The facility was better looking on the outside than the inside. It appeared that they were making some renovations to the dining area. The carpet was definitely dated. I was not impressed with the overall appearance of the facility, and the facility had an odor. The rooms were OK. They didn't jump out as newly renovated, as some of the other ones were. They did not have a patio balcony to walk out on for each room. It definitely looked more like a hotel than an apartment.

The Waterford at Ironbridge was a very beautiful facility. It had a huge, very nice dining area. The rooms were pretty. They have a couple of vans that they would take people places. It was just a gorgeous place. The staff was very nice. She was very friendly, very accommodating, and very nice to talk to. They have a library, and they have laundry facilities. The rooms were very nice and well lit.

The Waterford at Ironbridge is a beautiful facility and the people were friendly. We talked to some of the residents and some of the staff. The only drawback for us is they don't offer the level of care that we really need. The dining room is beautiful, the rooms were nice, they seem to be well maintained, clean and neat. They have a lot of activities for the residents, they were telling us about music therapy, we witnessed a little bit of that, they were telling us about an event that they had where people had replanted some flowers, and how they bring in people to sing for the residents there.

I went to The Waterford at Ironbridge. I absolutely loved it, and we would be leaning towards putting my mother there once she's kind of at that point. The lady, Brianna, was fantastic to work for, and we just loved the facility. The staff was fantastic, absolutely loved them, and I would feel very comfortable moving my mother there. It's very beautiful. On the outside, they actually have some walking trails, it's up against the golf course, so that makes it very beautiful, and the inside was nicely decorated and very spacious.

My mother is moving into The Waterford at Ironbridge. The dining room was very nice, and the room she's getting is all redone completely, so it's like new. The bedroom is kind of small, but the living room and kitchen area is a good size. They have exercise, and the amenities look good and are a good variety. We liked the location better than the other place we went to.

The Waterford at Ironbridge has been good. I have no problems with them, the staff is excellent, they provide dining services, and it's pretty good. They have a lot of activities, but they had to scale back due to COVID. They have an activities director and she does stuff. They used to have people come in and play music and stuff like that before COVID. It's a real good value.

The Waterford at Ironbridge was a nice facility. The apartments weren't as big and didn't have in-apartment washer-and-dryer, so those were the two things that were a downside. There were two people who assisted us there. The lady who first showed us around was really good, thorough and helpful. The second person was also helpful, showed us everything we wanted and needed, and explained things well. The dining area was nice and the food was good. There were a lot of activities like workout, sewing, Bible studies, and crafts.

I liked The Waterford, it's only 1-2 stories, and it's very beautiful. It's a very nice place to be, but the rooms were small.

The Waterford was really nice. The facility was just bright and pretty especially the common area. I thought I liked that the best of the commons areas that I liked. They had pretty standard rooms. We looked at one and two bedrooms. There were really clean, fresh, and simple. My husband had breakfast, and he liked what he had. I had their regular special for that day, and it was excellent. They had a really nice music room or activity room. They had a crafts room, and they had jigsaw puzzles that you could work on. Then, they had a special dining room that you could have your family had dinner with you. Then, they had the view of the golf course.

My Mom is almost 80 yrs old. We've been coming to Waterford's outreach events for the last two years as we prepare for what's around the corner for Mom's next step. What we found was a really nice facility with caring people. Mom's favorite event was the one with the live big band music. Of course we danced and had a great time. I think we'll continue to go these events so we can continue to meet the staff and have fun. And when the time is right I think this will probably be the place Mom picks. I know I would.

My father-in-law has only been at The Waterford at Ironbridge for four days, but so far, things look pretty good. He has a large one-bedroom that is maybe 650 square feet. The food is perfect. It seems like a really good place. It's very nice and clean. Everything here as far as I can tell is perfect.

My mother-in-law is at The Waterford at Ironbridge. Their staff is awesome. They assign little helpers for her that knock on her door and take her down to lunch and down to dinner and also showed her around. They have done an awesome job on that. They also have caregivers there that you can use if you need it. She is in a one bedroom apartment right now and it has a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, as well as a microwave. They have different activities like they have a game room where they can go on and play games, a pool table, and they also have bingo. The dining room looks like a restaurant and they hand you a menu where you can order anything off the menu.

I have toured The Waterford at Ironbridge, and they've been awesome. The people keep calling me back to get updates on Mom to see how she is doing, and if we need a place to stay, they have a guest facility that we could use. The apartments were very airy. They all had emergency pulls in case someone falls. They were all brand new, remodeled, and very nice and had good, thick, comfy carpets. The staff was super friendly. They answered every question I could think of and were really helpful. They had all kinds of activities indoors and also had shuttle buses to go places, like the casino, which all comes with your monthly rent. They have a main dining hall and three dining halls if you don't want to eat with a large group of people, and a special family dining room specifically set-up if you wanted to have a special Thanksgiving dinner with your kids.

The Waterford was a nice facility but a little more expensive. It was not large, but is in a very nice park-like setting. It is close to a hospital. The living area is very nice.

The Waterford was wonderful. Everyone, from the people living there to the people who worked there, was very helpful. There was always somebody saying, "Can we help you?" All the residents were telling us how wonderful the place was, and that we would love it. It was very clean, very neat, beautifully furnished, and had beautiful flowers and trees. It was almost like a home setting and was everything I was looking for. The one we were going to rent was a wonderful two-bedroom with plenty of room, and the kitchen was a little small, but she didn't need a kitchen because they have their own dining area there, which is a little breakfast nook. But other than that, they have large walk-in closets and large showers, so I was very pleased. It could have been a two-people place or a one-person place; you could even have three if you needed to. They even allowed us to have a meal there as we were doing our walk-through, just so we could taste and see what we thought. My mother and I both ate there; it was wonderful. They had a waitress that functioned just purposely for us and our surrounding tables, and she was very attentive. And the food was delicious. I did see everything that they allowed or offered for the residents to do, but I went on a day when there wasn't any activity scheduled. I believe it was a Saturday that I went, but the board was full of activities for them -- away from the place where they live as well as inside.

I have researched The Waterford at Ironbridge through the Internet. I love the entrance where you go in. They have a welcoming guest sign right there at the front where you could see it, and the place was full of windows. It just looks so bright and cheerful. The rooms are really nice. They have a lot of activities, and we ate lunch, and I was impressed with the food. They have a nice salad bar. I talked to several of the residents, and they seemed comfortable, and they looked happy there. The staff are all very nice.

The Waterford had the best social activities. They took their residents everywhere. They took those people to music shows and movies. They had the best social calendar for the residents; Mom really liked that, but the rooms were very small, and they were one of the most expensive. We liked the staff very much. They were friendly and they showed us around. They seemed to take their time with us to make sure we got to see everything we needed to see.

I moved at Waterford at Ironbridge. I like the food, they wash the linens and the towels, they vacuum and clean the floor weekly. The staff that worked there, it took me awhile to convince them that the residents are the most important people here and not the workers, but I finally did. The place is expensive and they will continue to raise it so I need to find another place because I'll definitely run out of money.

My mom likes it there. It was real big and it was kind of overwhelming for her. The apartments were very nice. The people there were very considerate. It's just that as time went on it just became too difficult for mom. She needed more help and they're not equipped to do that there because it's an independent facility. She was happy there before she progressed.
