My sister-in-law has moved into Holiday River's Edge. They have a whole lot of good things. They were very positive when we did our walkthrough and asked questions. My sister-in-law got comfortable very fast. We were comfortable very quickly. Their staff is friendly. We were able to eat at the establishment a couple of times. The food was excellent. Even though the facility is rather an older one, they're in the process of updating everything. Some things had just been updated and it's got a lot more to go, but it's in the process, so it's real good. Everybody was friendly and outgoing and some people were busy. They were doing their jobs and things were getting done. I had good impressions. They had activities planned during the day, usually one or two every day. It has a space outside where people can walk out and be in the sunshine or the shade and sit on a bench or just enjoy themselves outside. The next-door neighbor is a ballpark with young people who come out and play. The facilities themselves seem well set up and those are in the process of being updated. There seem to be things going on most of the time. They have a driver with a shuttle that can get you to appointments or take groups out to shop and things like that. That was a real positive from our perspective.

The staff at Holiday River's Edge was very polite. They were redoing the building, and they were very open and apologetic for the mess of the construction. They explained everything very well. Even though they were fixing the building, it didn't have a urine smell or anything like that. The apartments were very nice, and they were being redone, too, but they were identical, so we liked them. They had a library and a small gym, and they had a lot of classes going on. They had things for the seniors to do and you can go places with them if you want to. They take all kinds of trips, like day trips. They had an outdoor garden space with raised beds and they had a gazebo. You could have grills on your patio, and the landscaping was very nice.

Holiday River's Edge was beautiful. It looked like a five-star resort. The food tastes like it was cooked by actual chefs. The little apartments they have are nice. There's nothing bad I can say about the place aside from the price, which was a little more than we could afford. Everything was perfect.

The tour I had at Holiday River's Edge was fine. The staff was kind. They seemed very caring and compassionate towards the other residents that were there. For my father, it would be a great place, because he's not big on aesthetics. I'm a little crazy about aesthetics and what they showed me for him was simple enough and would be adequate accommodations for him. Residents would be allotted three meals a day, plus snacks. They have a set menu. The couple of other residents that I talked to there were very lovely. Everybody seemed like they were doing their thing. They have all kinds of activities and they encourage the residents to stay active. They had a yoga class going on and they had TV rooms. I think in general, it's kind of a laid-back environment. They're not going to impose upon the residents to partake. Whatever they choose to partake in, they will, and if they choose nothing, they don't have to. They also had beautiful grounds and the way it was set up for the residents was they had their own private entrance on the first floor. All of them had a patio, which was lovely. We just didn't get to experience the food and the units were a little dated.

My mother is in Holiday River's Edge. There was disappointment upon move-in. The refrigerator did not work. They had not taken care of the wasp's nest on her balcony. The best part of the facility is the residents who want to help each other. The staff is very kind. Her room is completely appropriate and clean, but the showerhead in the bathroom was faulty. They offered an alert necklace free of charge because of the inconveniences, so they did try to make up for their issues. She enjoys the food very much. The dining facility is clean and the staff is very cordial. They have bingo every morning, they have yoga, and they have a recreational therapy room, but they do not have an assigned recreational therapist. The office manager is actually doing that job until they locate another permanent rec person. They also have some gardening.

I liked that Holiday River's Edge had three meals a day and a large selection for each meal. It wasn't just one entree. You had three entrees to choose from for lunch and dinner. We had lunch there and the food and the service were excellent. The apartment had a small kitchenette where you could have a microwave, a coffee pot, or a toaster oven if you want to make your own breakfast in there rather than going downstairs There were exercise rooms, a library, a big TV room, and nice grounds. It had patios on the first floor and then balconies on the second and third. It was a very homey-looking place. The staff person that gave us the tour was excellent and very welcoming. She sat us at a table with the gentleman that had been there a couple of years and his daughter who stopped by for lunch. We also liked that we could have our dog.

We liked Holiday River's Edge. We got a good vibe from them, and they told us they could work with us on the price. We were just very impressed by the first steps in the door. They had a beautiful entryway with very nice rocking chairs out there looking at a pond and it was quite serene and good. When we went into the facility, Bryan, the manager, was not attentive to us. We did have an appointment but he took somebody that walked in ahead of us, which was a little strange. Another person took us around to different apartments. Several residents came over and spoke to us for some time about how much they liked the place. We were also invited to have lunch there and we had a very delicious meal. The food was all very good.

Holiday River's Edge looked clean. Upkeep was good. I didn't care for the floor plan, because the kitchen and the living room were all one. There are no patios, and those are a big concern and interest that I had. Cleanliness was good. We had a meal there and it was excellent. The quality of the food was good. It was a good portion. It was somebody's birthday so they had a birthday cake, too. They showed me an apartment upstairs, on the third floor, but I am not interested in going up and taking elevators. The lady who toured me was more interested in talking about our family than the facility.

My mother is gonna go to Holiday River's Edge. It was fantastic. The staff was awesome. The layout was awesome. They got it all. The particular apartment that my mom's going in seems small though. She's in the main building. Her apartment just seems like a dorm room, and there is no kitchen in her room. There's like a wet bar with a seat and a small refrigerator. The outdoors is great. There are lots of paths she can walk on, and there are lots of things that she can do, and I'm happy about that. I just don't think she's going to be happy with the kitchen. It's all-inclusive and she gets three meals a day. Everything was very clean. I just don't like her room personally.

I had a good tour at Holiday River's Edge for myself, but it would be the last place I would consider for my needs. It was very clean and well cared for, but the apartment that I looked at in my price range was smaller than I expected, and granted meals are included in the monthly fee, I have a passion for cooking. I would rather have something with a full kitchen. This just had a kitchenette, which is fine for people who don't want to cook, but since meals are included, I'd hate to pay for something that I don't use. It was not bad at all, but it didn't suit me. It's beautifully done, had beautiful grounds, and it's very well maintained, but I didn't see any activity as such. It was a very hot day, but apparently, the only activity seems to be a fellow that comes in once a week and teaches painting. The staff was not boiling over with enthusiasm, but at the same time, he was a very nice young man.

I liked the type of apartments that River's Edge had. It was very comfortable and bigger than what we saw before. I liked that it had a bathtub and that it was very clean. The lady who did the tour was very nice and knew what she was doing. Their dining area was big. The residents said "hi" and were very friendly. I liked that they made us feel good. They also do painting and other activities.

River's Edge was nice. The lady took us to two different rooms and I liked both of them. For what they had to offer, I think the place was good. They kept it up nicely. She was friendly, gave me plenty of information, and told me about the specials that they had. The studio didn't have a kitchen, but it had a refrigerator, a sitting area, a bathroom, and a sleeping area. The dining room was nice, too. They have a beauty salon, a swimming pool, and a game room where they play games. They would also take them to different places. My dad likes to fish, and they said they could take him fishing if he wants to.

River's Edge was the first one I went to. The apartments were old. You could make it better. But, great staff. They have a mini-fridge in their apartments. They were almost the same setup as the other places. They did have a balcony. That was a little bit extra. The staff member was pleasant, like a little southern belle.

River's Edge is going to be where I'm going to go. The place is very upscale. It has a nice entryway and dining facility. The staff is awesome. The lady that I dealt with was very knowledgeable of my needs. I toured the whole facility, and it has all the amenities that I am looking for. They have staff there if you need extra services. The leasing manager there was so good and awesome. She deserves a five star. They have a place where you can do physical therapy. They have haircare on-site. They have washers and dryers. They have a place where you can go to church services. They have a very nice dining facility with upscale menus, and the ground is superb.

We went to River's Edge. We're just gonna go and visit, but the people were really friendly there, they come out and talk, but they wouldn't let you go in the building because of the virus, but they have a pond right out in the front and the ducks, and it was inviting. I put in $1500, and she said "If you decide you don't want it, we'll give it back to you tomorrow." We waited 2 months at least to get my money back. It was very pretty, they had beautiful gardens, and everything was taken care of very well. We really didn't get to see too many employees there, for one thing it was at lunchtime, people all rushed there, getting their food, and go on, so people were coming and going.

The overall experience with River's Edge was great, it's just that I wish my mother could go there. That's more of independent living, and she needs a little bit more than just independent. It was very clean, nice, the neighbors that I met at the different apartments were very good, it was so nice, and the different activities that they offer for the seniors was wonderful. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The dining area was very nice and clean, and well-kept.

Everything I saw and experienced about River's Edge, I liked. Miss Miller was very helpful and followed up with me. We were interested in a studio apartment because that's all my brother really needs, but they had other slots available outside. I was pleased with the dining room, and they had different activities. I was pleased that they had something continuously going on that they can do, and not just sit around not doing anything. I like the fact that they had transportation for different places he would want to go. It's a place where I feel my brother would be comfortable living. I felt very comfortable with everything I saw in the community.

River's Edge seemed like a wonderful, clean place. They're willing to help, and the price is right. The staff who showed me around was really good and professional. The grounds were really clean and well kept. The only problem is the traffic on Waters Avenue. They showed us a nice two-bedroom that was too big for my aunt. They had all kinds of activities going on.

My visit with River's Edge was OK. The staff apologized in the beginning because they didn't have a room that they could show us. They only had one that somebody had recently vacated and it had to be repainted. The place was secluded and quiet. It's for independent living so you have to hire help. However, the traffic was awful.

I thought River’s Edge was great. It was a smaller place -- not a big high rise -- which I did not want. The staff was wonderful. I walked in, someone spoke to me, I got right in to see someone, they took me around, and it was great. They answered all my questions. The location was wonderful, and it sits back off the main road. it was quiet, very clean, and maintained well. It was convenient, and it was right off the interstate. The apartment needed a little updating, but it was clean and well-maintained. Everything was totally inclusive, it was very organized, and it had a lot of amenities.

A lot of River's Edge's residents' feedback was good, and it just seemed very clean and nice. I think they said they're about to remodel the interiors. They have a full calendar of events, both on-site and off-site, every month. They have bus rides to different places, nice grounds that you can go out on, and scheduled walks for different groups. They serve 3 meals a day, and you can pre-arrange transportation with them for doctors' appointments. The staff answered all my questions and were extremely nice.

I moved my mother to a facility called River’s Edge. It is going very well. She has been there since January 11. It’s wonderful. We’re really happy with it. She is in an apartment, which is clean. It is also nice. It has a nice view. Moreover, it is three times bigger than the place where she was before. We’re really happy with it. They also have very good food.

My mother is staying at the River's Edge. She has a cottage that has two bedrooms, a living room, one car garage, laundry, full kitchen, washer, dryer, and two bathrooms. It's an awesome place. It's freestanding versus the apartment in the main building where she takes all her meals. One of the things that she really likes is the garage for her car. The people that we dealt with as far as setting up an appointment, and helping mom out have been phenomenal. The service is unbelievably great. We don't have any complaints. The location is wonderful. She is about 15-minutes from us. The food also is great. She gets three meals per day. They do housekeeping, and laundry. They can dispense meds for an additional price, but we don't need them at this point because she can do that herself.

At River’s Edge, the dining room looked very nice. It offered three meals, but we’re not interested in three meals a day. We saw a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom, and they were OK. The facility itself looked old, and even though the carpeting was nice, the air conditioning and the walls had a weird air vent. It just wasn’t for us. The activities were not something that we wanted. The apartment did have a balcony around it, and there was a small exercise room. It just didn’t have what we were looking for.

We did go to River's Edge. It was a good experience, but it was more of an independent-living place. They had cottages, and we did not want my father to be in that situation. Even though the doctor told him he couldn't drive, we felt like he was going to go out by car after we left. The staff was very nice, and they were very persistent. He liked it; however, he couldn't live in a cottage. We would have to hire somebody from the outside to come in and administer his medication, and that was going to cost more. It's a very nice facility, and they had activities going on also. We toured the room, and everything was very nice.

River's Edge was a nice property, but I wasn't crazy about the location, and it was quite large. My mother is coming from an independent living that is smaller, so I just thought that she would acclimate better to a smaller facility as opposed to a larger one. The person who gave me the tour was excellent. He was so professional, answered all of my questions, and followed-up with me several times. I can't say enough about the person who was there. I just didn't think the fit was right for my mother because of the size.

We visited River's Edge. The outside wasn't beautiful for sitting or walking around. The rooms weren't as nice, yet they cost more, and less was included in the price. They did not have as nice quality activities as the other place we visited. They take you around to basic places. They had a little laundry center that you could do your laundry in. I was invited to have a meal, but I didn't go because I didn't really care as much for that place. The square footage of the room was smaller. They had very few two-bedrooms, and the rooms would be facing the parking lot, so it wasn't my type of place.

We have been to River's Edge and we spoke with the manager and his co-worker. The manager has written to us once and the lady called here yesterday. It is actually the first one we have actually seen. We were there at the non-blooming time when the plants were not in bloom and doing their showy things, but it is a nice and clean facility. They have a lot of the activities and things that people would want. In that one, they actually have a physical therapist office there. I guess they come in one day a week, but that is available right on the property. Of course the beautician and laundry services are there. They have a small library too. Some things didn't matter to me, but to other people they would be a big factor. For us, the consideration is the price, and we can't just afford it. It is out of our price range.

They have medical staff there. She has a one bedroom; it’s almost like an apartment. They have a pool and a gym. There are also a number of things they do there. They have Wii games, a music person that comes in, and they take them to outings if they want to go to a shopping mall. They prepare all their meals. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My aunt chose to live at River's Edge because everything is inclusive. You have rehab there if you need rehab. You have your library, a computer center, a chapel, etc. Everything is inclusive. Also the meals are inclusive. We had meals there, and the food was great. They also have a bus service that they provide for their residents to go shopping or go to the doctor's office. That is something that my aunt was looking at as opposed to taking public transportation. There are two sets of managers there onsite all day, every day, so she is able to have someone there. Once you're a member of the property, you can travel from state to state for free. Because my aunt lives there, they allowed us to stay there over the weekend. I would rate it a three, only because they had just exterminated the building, so we saw a couple of bugs and molds on the AC unit. Also the carpet was not clean; they had stains on the carpet. My aunt is in one of the largest studios, but it is still small. Unlike my mother, my aunt is not in a wheelchair.

I have my parents in River's Edge and it went well. I like it that it is independent living. It is very close to the hospital and doctor's office. I also liked the size of it. They have different sizes of rooms and we have exactly what we wanted. I have dinner there a couple times with my parents and the food is good. The staff is amazing, very caring and they check on my parents. They make them feel very at home. I can call them anytime and they will run down and checkon them. If I have a question, they go and answer them. From the kitchen help to the house cleaners, I don't have anything to complain about and my dad feels the same way. They have activities. They exercise daily and a lot of things to stimulate their bodies and minds.

Their live-in manager is available in the premises 24-hours, so that they can take care of everything that you need even at night. What stood out for me is that this is a very friendly community. They're very nice people. They have a caring staff and they're ready to accommodate anyone. It is like apartment living. The facility itself is also clean. I was just impressed with everything. I find Rivers Edge an excellent and well maintained facility. When I visited the place the residents there were warm the the staff seemed to be caring and helpful. From what I was told, they have these different activities for the residents and I think it's fun to have such. The rooms were livable and I find the place quite relaxing. However we are still looking around and we also prefer something a little different. Also at this time, we are having problems in selling our house and it might take a while.

The first thing I noticed when I drove up to Rivers Edge, was it was a beautiful setting. There were several residents walking around outside enjoying nature. There is also a large porch with chairs to sit and visit. Inside I noticed how comfortable everything appeared and very spacious. They offer several types of resident rooms with each having a private bath. The dinning room was very roomy and comfortable. The lunch looked and smelled delicious. Rivers Edge offers a variety of meals depending on the diet the resident requires. This facility offers many activities and outdoor adventures. I was able to visit with several of the resident's and they were very happy living at Rivers Edge.
