We toured the Summit at Saratoga. It was just excellent, like all the amenities, the services, and the cleanliness of the place. They had a lot of community activities, like bingo and movie nights. They had the hairdressing salon right there. They had physical therapy, a beautiful dining room, a piano bar, entertainment on Friday nights, a beautiful pool, and a nice tavern where people would join together, play cards, and drink.

I went to Summit at Saratoga. They care about their folks and their community. They're kind and thoughtful. The staff was wonderful. The place was really lovely. It offered a lot of amenities and things to maybe keep my parents busy. If they didn't feel like interacting, they had a lovely home, too. They had everything. I think they included a continental breakfast; however, they did not do like lunch or dinner. There's not a restaurant, which is fine because my mother prefers to cook. They have all the amenities, they're lovely, and the staff is great.

I did a tour of The Summit at Saratoga. I was a little upset because they only wanted to rent to, if you were one person, you get a 1-bedroom. You had to be two people to get 2-bedrooms, and all their one-bedroom is 600 square feet. I need an office, I still stay active. I need an office to do something about it. It's very difficult to have a living space, plus an office. They had another complex in conjunction with this one where they had two separate houses. They even had houses, but they didn't show me any of those. Possibly because when I questioned him, I said I want an apartment. I was going to travel. So, the apartments were in a multi-story complex, a very nice building. It was very clean, very centrally located, and very nice, but very small for me. As I walked in there, there were people in wheelchairs and walkers all over; quite a few of them doing different things. They had plenty of activities, but they were set up for people who were less active than me. I thought they were all very pleasant. The management was certainly pleasant. I had no trouble with the management. It's just that the offers for me were not what I needed. It's a multi-story building, I would say, maybe 10 stories or something along those lines. The staff was very nice. It was very well kept, and all but the average age in that particular one was quite senior. They had some interesting setups in there for future entertainment that they used before COVID. With COVID, they had a small party room that you could use, but it has restricted the number of people there and what's rightfully so. Covid in a senior complex is not a thing you're looking for, and it limited some of the activities that they have. There are still quite a few activities, but they are very low-impact activities; more like the set up of mild yoga-type exercises and stretching exercises that were mainly their activity. It just befits the population. They are probably very capable of doing low activity things, and other things along those lines. It's not a problem, it's the reality of situations. If you have a population in the facility that can only do a low-impact exercise, then you've got low-impact exercises. It's a nice area, and they have grounds around it that are somewhat landscaped. It's all in a sort of dead-end situation. There are other facilities there for us. I didn't quite understand what the other buildings were for. I believe the rent included electricity, heat, or something like that was included in the price, and it was pretty reasonable. I probably got turned off the minute I looked at the population running around in wheelchairs and walkers. I did go through and look at the facility because I made that appointment. She was nice enough to do it, and I certainly would pay her the respect of looking at these things. But I was turned off immediately. The facility was nice, the people were nice. They were very pleasant, and they couldn't have done any better design. The lady was very well-spoken, and she was very caring.

The Summit at Saratoga was a beautiful place. The woman that I spoke with was very nice. I brought a friend with me, and the woman walked us through everywhere and explained things totally, and I was very pleased with that. I have a little trouble walking, and the hallways were long. It's like an I-shaped with the top and bottom of the I that are short, but the one in the middle is huge. If I had to do any walking back and forth for that whole distance, that was a little bit much for me. At this point, I felt that was a drawback, but the apartments were beautiful and the place was immaculate. The residents that I saw were very friendly. Another drawback is they don't have tubs for safety issues they said. Those were the only two things that were negative. Everything else was just beautiful. They were just coming out of lockdown when I went there. I think it was the last day of all the residents wearing masks because everybody's vaccinated now. They have onsite nails and hair and breakfast every day. The other thing she said was they have the technicians come in that do the nails and hair but they don't charge them anything. I love the indoor pool. The staff was very pleasant and very accommodating. If they see that you were new, they could tell right away, and they were like, "Can I help you?" They're very attentive and right on top of whatever you need. The facilities were very clean and very well maintained. I was surprised nobody was using them at the time that we were there. They showed us several apartments so we could see the difference. It was very well set up. It looked like they had a nice variety of activities for people. I play mahjong and the staff said there were people there that do that. That's the only place I looked at, and the price was a little high for me. They didn't have any one-bedrooms. They only had the two bedrooms, so you'd have to pay for the two bedrooms. At that point, it was a little bit out of my range, but looking at all the comparables in the area, for what you get, it was a decent value.

I visited The Summit at Saratoga but they don't have any room available. They may have one if somebody leaves but they said the next opening they have is 3 months from now. The tour was fine, the way it should be done really. The community is nice, the people also seemed nice. We've seen some people in the hallways while we're looking at it. They were telling us how good the place is. If I have a choice, that's where I want to go. The only thing I think they need is a nice big restaurant inside the building. They have a nice swimming pool.

I've looked into The Summit of Saratoga, but I haven't made any final decision yet. I liked it very much. The apartments were very good. The staff members were very friendly. They were anxious to tell you all about it and about the people that lived there. I got all good impressions from that. I think the residents were very happy. They had a lot of programs, they could go and come when they wanted, and they had a lot of activities that they liked. They had a library they could have anytime to use, they had a pool, and a movie theater. I think they do so many interesting programs that people take part in.

The Summit at Saratoga had a swimming pool and pool exercises. It was nice, but there's no food provided. The socialization in the activity room was nice. The accommodations and the rooms were nice. The only downfall was they didn't have a restaurant service available. The staff was very good, very knowledgeable, and accommodating.

The Summit at Saratoga was a very nice place, and I'm considering it. The person who accommodated me was very nice, polite, and very knowledgeable. The food in the dining area was appealing, and the rooms were up to my expectations. There's enough activities to keep me busy if I decide to move there. They had an exercise room, a boccia court, transportation back and forth to the malls, dining, and so on.

The Summit at Saratoga had luxury condos for older people. They're beautiful and had a ton of activities. You get only Continental breakfast, so you're responsible for your meals, housekeeping, and everything else. I liked them a lot. It's gorgeous and all independent living. They're affiliated with a certain medical group or hospital, but they don't have on-site care. I loved the staff. They had a pool and at least a dozen different pool activities and exercises every day for seniors. They have different restaurants that come in for meals, which you can buy. It's close to supermarkets and malls. The staff was wonderful and friendly.

I think The Summit at Saratoga Springs is a great community. They have many amenities and things going on. They have an indoor swimming pool and outdoor games. It is a good community for people over 50. We are moving in on Thursday. It is one of the best we have seen in upstate New York. They don't serve food themselves, but they bring in restaurants several times a week where you can order and they deliver to you. There isn't a food plan, except they have continental breakfast every day. I give it the highest rating that I can give, and we are very pleased about it.

The Summit at Saratoga had the continental breakfast, but it did not have a meal other than that for my mom, and she needs the meals provided. They didn't have any dinner or lunch at all, so you have to order that on your own. They had a few restaurants in the area, which will bring in food two nights a week, but you have to order that and pay separately. It costs a lot less to live there. They had a swimming pool inside, which nobody else offers, but they didn't have enough services.

I thought the Summit at Saratoga was a lovely place. They have an indoor pool, a whirlpool, a little bar area where people get together at the end of the day, and a TV area. They definitely have very nice amenities. The staff was great. Everyone has their own apartment and does their own cooking. There was an area with some tables that people can order out and have meals there together, but there wasn’t necessarily a dining area. It is a brand new facility.

The Summit had a pool, the price was good, and they had a very nice facility. They had a lease contract that was horrible, and poorly done. There were additional fees that actually did not make any sense, but from the facilities point of view, it was very nice.
