Aviva Senior Living appeared very nice. However, the monthly fees were a bit high. The gentleman who conducted the tour was very forthright, was quite knowledgeable of the facility, and was able to go over things very clearly. We've reviewed a one-bedroom facility. It had a walk-in shower. It has a kitchen, so you can prepare your own meals if you choose. The calendar of activities appeared full. This is more of a higher educated group that gravitates there based on the type of things offered in their activities such as classical music options as well as the literary things available. They have an activities room and a gym. I enjoyed meeting the director of that facility. They also have rehab services. They have a salon for men and women for their haircuts and other programs such as nail service. The dining area was nice. It appeared on the small side, but it's going to be expanded. They had an active carryout service there for residents who wanted to take their meals to their room. They offered us the opportunity to return for a meal. It was very clean.

I went to Aviva Senior Living for a tour. It's a property that needs renovation. It doesn't feel as homey as some of the other places. A lot of the residents were sitting down in a lobby as soon as you walked in. They didn't serve me a meal, but they had hors d'oeuvres, and it was not memorable. The apartments are OK, but there's only a few larger ones. Some of them are studios. The place could use renovation in so many ways. Aviva Senior Living was a place I kind of crossed off my list. They didn't have enough large apartments, and I don't want to live cramped up. The grounds are very nice. It is in a very nice part of town, so that's something positive.

Aviva Senior Living seemed rundown and not clean. I did not like it. I did not like the atmosphere. I don't know how old it is, but it was not maintained very well. It was poorly maintained. They have all the levels of care. The fellow we talked to was too controlling, too much talking about money, and not enough about the facilities. We saw the dining room and the pool. We were there a long time, much longer than we should have been. They had a gym and a meeting room, but it was all dark and dingy. The atmosphere was unpleasant.

Aviva Senior Living was extremely nice. It was very clean. The staff was welcoming. The residents were happy and the food was excellent. We did eat lunch there. It was chef prepared and it was excellent. I loved the building layout. The grounds were very tropical, nice, and green. The rooms were spacious. The room that we visited had a window that looked out on some really beautiful landscape and it would be very accommodating and welcoming to anyone who uses a walker.

We liked Aviva Senior Living the best. It was a very friendly place. The lady who assisted us was extremely friendly. She even sent us a copy of their contract. She was upfront about costs. We liked it because no matter where we went in that facility, people were just super, super friendly. The rooms were more like small apartments and they had a small kitchen. Some had a laundry included in that room, whether you had to provide the washer and dryer or they provided it, the hookup was there in some. If we were to go to a facility right now, it would be Aviva Senior Living. It was affordable for us. They recognized and accepted the VA benefit for us. They just met all our criteria. It's a Jewish community, but there was no restriction on the denomination. But on Friday nights, men have to wear a suit jacket to dinner. Also, we are vegetarian, and every meal at Aviva Senior Living offered a vegetarian option, which was nice. It was a multi-level facility, and it was very clean.

Aviva Senior Living seemed nice. They had a nice courtyard for the memory care residents to walk out to. The salesperson was helpful and answered my questions. Their units were adequate. They were single bedrooms. The cleanliness looked good.

I was very impressed with Aviva Senior Living. I liked it. If I had to choose a place tomorrow, I would choose this place. It is very close to where I am living now, so if I live there, I could still maintain my membership in the clubs and activities that I now belong to. All the apartments and the units were very well-appointed. If they were older, most of them had been updated, so they were modern. The grounds were nice and the buildings were well-kept. It was all very positive. Everybody I dealt with was very, very accommodating, very polite, and very professional.

This facility is old and not maintained well. Staff have been leaving like there's a virus in this facility, but it's due to working conditions. If you are thinking of moving a loved one into this facility, please be sure to check out other places as well. The food is not up to par and 99% of the residents have been complaining about it for awhile. The units aren't cleaned well and the carpets throughout the building are very dirty. There are many activities for residents to participate in, which is a plus. The highlight of this place are the residents. The ones I've met are very warm and caring.
