EagleCrest stood out as being excellent among the communities we visited. It's a very nice place, physically speaking. The staff is excellent and they had a good staff-to-resident ratio. They have all levels right there, there's an independent living, assisted living, memory care, and they can get you skilled nursing. They have another facility that has that nearby, so all the levels are available. What I like is that the memory care just looks like a very family-oriented atmosphere where people can relate together. They're visiting together in a living room-like setting, so they're not shut up in their rooms. There are lots of outside activities, they have musical groups and other groups coming in to spend time with these people.

EagleCrest seemed like a very nice place to settle. This was run by Presbyterian Homes. The person who was trying to do the coordination was fantastic to work with. She was a very lovely person to talk to, very caring, and super, super nice. I've run into some good people along the way. It was a really nice place. I really liked it. They also had a very nice and open dining area.

I toured EagleCrest. The rooms were nice. They had lots of events, and there were lots of onsite amenities. It was very tastefully decorated. The people were nice. The person who showed me around was excellent. It's a lovely layout. It's quite open and attractive. It's very well decorated.

EagleCrest was our first choice for dad. It's run by Presbyterian Homes, and we know that they do a very good job. They had a nice big dining room. Everything we thought was decorated very nicely and well kept, and people seemed to be busy and out and about visiting with each other in the dining room. It's just got a great atmosphere and we know that they're well cared for. The room was even bigger and nicer than most. They had nice big windows. We would have loved to get dad in there, and we probably would have if we could, but they have a two-year requirement and he would have not had enough money to stay there for two years. They have some rooms available for an elderly waiver, but they depend on how much the county is going to give them and of course, there's a waiting list for that. We've been on that waiting list for three years because we were on the waiting list back when my mom was alive and she's passed away. Even with that, they were unable to get us any rooms there knowing that dad was going to have to go on to elderly waiver eventually. They had all kinds of stuff, the beauty salon, activities, and social happenings. I think they're pretty active. People were visiting and eating their lunch when we were there when we walked through the dining room, and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. The staff was very good. We met several of them. It's a little bit older, but it's nice and well kept.

EagleCrest has different facilities based on the level of care. My dad did not like it for some reason. The person giving us the tour wasn't quite as knowledgeable about all the services, and she was not quite as friendly as the other places. We only interfaced with the sales marketing person. It's a relatively new facility and it's taken very well care of. It's reasonably close to me to go visit. The rooms that I saw were adequate. The dining area was fine; they only had 3 dining options for my father.

We took a tour of Eaglecrest, and the apartment was beautiful. They redecorated with all new appliances, and everything was new. They're remodeling. They haven't done the dining area, the entry, or the hallways; they're pretty dark. The decorating is not good, but they're going to remodel. Because of Covid, they had to delay the remodeling, but I think all the apartments are done now. The living atmosphere needs redecorating. They have exercise classes. There's a workout room, and they have a hair salon where somebody comes and does hair. The one who assisted me on the tour was wonderful and very good.
