The Holiday Pueblo Regent is still my top one as far as I know. What I liked best was the staff and the people there. It made me feel like I was at home. The apartments were great. I like the views. The people were really friendly. The staff was really friendly, too. I visited several different places, but Holiday was the first one that I visited, and I liked them. Everything was set up for me to be able to use my walker and not have to worry about steps or anything like that. I loved the way the apartment was set up. I like the fact that they offer three meals a day. I'm a smoker, and there was a smoking section that you could go to. It's outside, but if you're a smoker, you have to go outside any time you smoke. I love the patios. I love the idea that I can open the door of my apartment and walk outside and it's safe, and I don't have to worry about steps. I like the fact that somebody is going to be coming and checking on me every day. I'm going to have the help that I need, and I can get the help that I need there. There's massage and hairdressers. Everything that I can think of is there, and everybody is so friendly. But the big thing is, it makes me feel at home, and that's the big feeling that you want. It makes you feel at home. This place may not be for everybody. The only thing I can tell people is to look around and find a place for you. For me, Holiday Pueblo Regent is the place for me. There were activities going out on every corner I was looking at. They were doing a word search in one corner, and they handed me about five sheets of those. I was so happy. They had puzzles in every nook and cranny of all the hallways. People were going here and going there. They had all kinds of activities going on. They gave me one of their monthly. They take you to Walmart and wherever you need to go. They have all that stuff.

I toured Holiday Pueblo Regent. It was a very nice place. There was some construction going on while I was there, so that kind of messed things up a bit, but otherwise, it was a very nice facility. I only met a couple of people and both were very, very helpful, and friendly. They were in the process of remodeling, and I believe what they showed me was a couple that were already done and looked very nice. The rooms that I've seen had little patios outside, even on the second floor. I think one other thing is that it is in a very nice location, with a lot of trees. It was very close to restaurants and shopping.

I liked Holiday Pueblo Regent, but it's more than I can afford. It was very nice. The woman was very helpful, very kind, and very informative. We got along great. I was hoping that I could figure out a way to stay there, but at this point, I can't do that. The premise was great. It was clean. It seemed to be jovial for the people that were living there. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was nicely put together. I enjoyed myself. The layout was nice. The room was big enough for just me. It gave me the information I needed on how much furniture I needed to get rid of because it wouldn't fit. Whoever figured out how to put it together, put it together very nicely. It's very comfortable looking. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. The lady that helped me, knew all of the activities that they did. She was very pleasant and she showed me all of the good things about the place, about the apartment, and was very professional. It's kind of like a salesman. They have to sell the product and she did a very good job. I came home and told my daughter that's where I'd like to live, but I have to get more income coming in first and she understood and she agreed. I was very pleased. If I get the money together, that'll be the first place I contact to see if they have any room open and I've looked at three or four places. I looked at their menu and they have quite a selection that you can eat at different meals, which I thought was nice. Most people don't think about that with seniors. We have to watch what we eat and eat the right food, get lots of protein, and keep healthy and it looked like a very nice menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I couldn't see any dust even in the hallways. It was very clean. I only met one other person, but they all seemed to be friendly. I saw several staff sitting and talking to some of the older people or helping them with the puzzle. They just seemed very good at being with older people and understanding the way we are. A lot of us still enjoy being around people and talking and interacting, and they did a great job. They were very cordial.

I visited Holiday Pueblo Regent. Their facilities were ideal for independent living. The facility itself was beautiful. I had a bedroom in there, a living room area, and an area that you could eat. So the facility looked beautiful. The dining room was extremely beautiful. The Regent has a nice third-floor dining room. They were serving lunch when I got there and the meals looked good. I did look at the room on the bottom floor of the Regent and it was gorgeous. I was impressed by it. I used the restroom while I was there as well. Everything was well taken care of. The lady had a complete package put together with very detailed information. The staff was excellent. The lady was super. When she talked to me, she asked a lot of questions, but she also had complete knowledge of everything she was talking about. And it was all documented in the package that she gave me. She was really on top of things. She handled the people very, very competently. The building was laid up excellently because you had the ability to an independent living. And that's what I was looking at, is you could go right out the door in the front of the building without having to go through the middle of the building and the front room and the hallway and everything. You go right from the room out to your car and travel around, doing whatever you have to do to take care of your business. So that was extremely advantageous from my perspective.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about Holiday Pueblo Regent. It was all-inclusive. The rates were reasonable as well. They were in the process of remodeling everything. Every apartment we went into had new carpet, new paint, and new appliances. They're very well-lit, very open, and very community oriented. They showed us four different rooms. We didn't have a meal there, but we got to view the menu, and everything looked wonderful. They had a library, massage therapy, puzzles, games, and music. They had rooms if you wanted to watch football or whatever. They were planning to go grocery shopping and to restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of amenities and how inclusive it was for everything. They have three meals a day, transportation to doctor's appointments, and all kinds of stuff.

Holiday Pueblo Regent was very nice. When we went in, they had a jazz band playing at noon for the residents. There were not many residents down there listening, but it was very nice to have live entertainment in the lobby. The cafeteria looked very nice. They're doing a lot of construction right now to upgrade the facility. They had three floors and if you were moving in, they do not have a freight elevator. They have only there the elevator that they use for going up and down and it isn't that big. I don't know how you would fit a couch if you wanted a couch in your home instead of a loveseat. So for me, that was not good. The location was good. The surrounding area would have been good for people living there. There were virtually all the amenities that you would need outside there. The lady that took us on the tour was awesome and her mom lives there and enjoys it. It's just not a place that we would be interested in. The menu looked good and the facility where they serve the food was very nice. They didn't have full kitchens in the apartment. If you were going to eat a full meal, you would eat in the dining area. They had small refrigerators and a microwave.

My mom is moving back into Holiday Pueblo Regent. Their price was cheaper compared to the others and they had just completely remodeled the apartment that she's going into. So, everything was brand new - the cupboards, the refrigerator, new carpeting, and new paint. It's an all-new staff now and they're good. The doctor that they have now seemed to have it together, and I was impressed with her. They had bingo, puzzles, and entertainment coming in. They also had a library, a couple of activity areas, an area for church services, a hairdresser, and a nail salon, and they would take them on a bus to Walmart, King Soopers, or places that they wanted to go. They had a nice dining room and they sourced their food locally.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My relative is in Pueblo Regent. It was in a nice neighborhood and they're pretty friendly. The rooms are nice, they're affordable, and the place was pretty clean. We looked at the dining room on the third floor which was ok, they had a game room or playing room on the second floor, and the laundry room is on the first floor. The staff members who assisted me during the tour were very helpful and nice.

I found Pueblo Regent to be very, very nice and pleasant. You can have a small room or a little bit larger one, and you need to bring your own furniture, bed and chairs. It was good. The eating area was very nice. The staff was helpful. Things were planned, as far as games or movies. They had a little bus that takes you wherever you want to go, and I liked that. I think they had a little exercise room.

My mom is now in Pueblo Regent. So far, it has been very good. The residents have complete autonomy. They can do pretty much as they please. There are a lot of activities for them to do and participate in. The food is fairly good. They have some trouble with the cook, but they're working that out.

The room at Pueblo Regent was disappointing. It's small and the place smells of urine. Communication was not at its best, but the sales consultant was fantastic and the lady at the front desk was great too. I'm happy about the list of activities, but the brochure was very misleading even the square footage and we were a little bit shocked. The facility was nice, the price seemed right on, there were a lot of things that were included, and the building outside was really nice.

My visit at Pueblo Regent went very well. The apartments are very nice. They have a pool table, chess, checkers, and exercises. They have three meals a day and they have a little beauty shop for women where they can get their nails done. They also help you with laundry if you need it. They have community interaction and a good staff of people are right there. It seemed like a lot of people are enjoying their life there. The staff is very nice, helpful, and informative. Nikki Garcia was very helpful and a very nice lady. The palce is very clean and smelled good, no funny smells. I was very pleased with the atmosphere.

We got to talk to the residents of Pueblo Regent, and they all seemed content. They had a restaurant, library, and salon. They had a first-floor unit with a pet door. That was the one I wanted Mom to see.

I visited this facility

We visited the Regency (Pueblo Regent), but my mother decided she would stay home until the end of summer. My mom liked the facility because it was really clean, for the way they prepared the meals, and for the outside patio so she could go out and get air. She was really happy about everything in there. She just wanted to put it on hold for a while. They did not mention any outdoor activities but did mention a lot of indoor stuff, like concerts, bingo, readings, and tours or to doctors' appointments in the van. The only thing that I did not like was that they just drop them off, and then they were kind of on their own. They served three meals a day and had refrigerators in the rooms, so they would have to go shopping if they wanted to have snacks.

My mother-in-law is in Pueblo Regent. You can pay for extra care like checking on their meds everyday and making sure they get down to breakfast, lunch, and supper. The food is good. They have bible studies and some entertainment on Friday afternoons. They have guests come in to play the piano for them in the afternoons. They have a little poker game at night. They just have lots of different activities. They have been extremely friendly and helpful. It is very laid back and very quiet.

My mom is at Pueblo Regent. We chose this because I have known some of the people who live there. We have been using them since last June. My first impression of it was good. The staff's work ethic is fine. My mom has a nice one-bedroom, one-bath and a living room/kitchen combination. The food is very good. The dining room is pleasant. They have all kinds of musical things, some sewing things, painting, and crafts. They have therapy and exercise classes too. She enjoys all their activities.
