My brother liked what he saw at Truewood By Merrill, Modesto, and he is considering moving into this place. The place was very congenial. The welcome was warm, and what the staff showed us was what my brother considered to meet his needs. He was very impressed with the person that was taking us through the tour. We looked at a studio and a 1-bedroom apartment, and he liked them. He liked the amenities and the dining hall, as well. We saw folks exercising. The place was pretty decent. The staff said they were going to do some painting. It was not very old to me, and it looked very nice to me.

The facility was very nice. It's a little older and a little less elaborate than the other place I toured, but it was quite nice. I loved the staff. The staff was so good. Those were the two things that really stood out to me. I saw one apartment, and it was very nice. It was a studio. They have kitchen setups. The one I saw was going to need to be refurbished a little bit before move in. They were planning on doing it, but as of that day that hadn't been done, so I didn't get to see it in its final condition. It was very nice. I thought it was quite nice and really for a studio and very good sized. They had a morning group that was singing when I walked in. I joined them for a moment. It was as fun and cute. The dining room area looked nice, and the staff was great.

My mom will be a resident here. It is very warm and inviting. The people are friendly and outgoing. Mom just loves it; she chose this place. They were bending over backwards to make things work. We're trying to figure out how to move Mom in there and get her insurance started, and they have been nothing but helpful and very responsive. They gave us a takeout lunch, which was quite good actually. It was porkchop and meatloaf. It was a very hearty, big meal. The facility was an older building, and there were lower ceilings. However, when Mom walked into this small one-bedroom room with a small balcony, she could just imagine herself there, which was just good. She fell in love with this particular room.

It was really cute. It was a nice and clean place, and the apartments were pretty decent. They had cool little cottages. The people working there seemed good. The cottage had an outside little patio area.

I was really impressed with it. The tour guide was extremely friendly and answered all my questions. It's a very clean place with a variety of activities that seniors could be involved in, and and even though it seemed like a lot of money to me, it was reasonably priced compared to some other places. The sample studio was very well lit and it was good size for a studio. She showed me one of the cottages, which was like a little house. The dining area was quite nice.

I like it a lot. It is clean, has a lot of activities, and seems friendly. The food is good. They have a salon, a library, computers, and a movie place. They have activities where they play games and stuff. They play bingo, arts and crafts, a lot of different games, and field trips every week.

It was a very nice place. The one and 2-bedroom cottages were great. We talked to the people living there who were very happy; one has lived there for nine years. The gentleman who assisted us was great and did a lot of follow up.

I'm pleased with it, but it's an hour and a half away without traffic. It's comfortable. My father-in-law has his own room, and now that he's settled in and getting more used to it, he's happy to be there. They have a lovely dining room, and the food is OK, though not the greatest. They have three meals a day and plenty of little snacks that he can take along. He has a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. If he needs to go to the doctor, he needs to sign up on certain days, and he can't always get those days with the doctor.

It was very nice, and the dining room was very nice. I saw their activity room, the dining room, the rooms, and the regular open area. The staff was very friendly, and I'd say the residents were happy.

It was nice. We looked around, and they showed us a two-bedroom cottage. The staff was very friendly, and everybody was acting very nicely. The food was very good. The dining area was spacious, and it seemed like everybody was enjoying themselves. It didn’t look drab or anything like that. We were there for a couple of hours talking and getting to know what was there. We were invited back at any time when they have different activities going on. She gave me a calendar showing some of the activities and mentioned if we care to come, which I think was a positive thing because you can walk in and see what was going on and get a feel of how the different people were interacting. One of the things I remember was when dining was over, we had to go to the second floor, so we had to take an elevator, but everybody was sitting there talking, and it seemed like that most people knew each other and chatting while waiting for the elevator. There was a lot of courtesy between residents and staff.

It was very nice. I saw different sizes of the rooms, and they were all very nice. The gentleman who took me on a tour gave me a calendar of activities. Once a week, they would go out to lunch on different restaurants. They have bingo nights. They have church services.

It is absolutely wonderful. The staff is lovely. They invited me to have lunch, and I saw an entertainment in the afternoon. It was absolutely lovely. If I have to go someplace, I would love to go there. I could not see anything that I didn’t like about it.

I like that my mother-in-law can still have activities and do things on her own there. The facilities are beautiful. The grounds are really nice. My mother-in-law's apartment is a modern one-bedroom apartment. It has a really great size living room. Her shower is set up for easy access because it is hard for her to get in and out of shower. Dining is actually very good. My husband and I have had a few meals there, and the food is very good. My mother-in-law is on a strict diet, and they have a lot of options for her there everyday. We're pretty happy with everything. Everything is great.

It is a wonderful place. They are very caring toward the residents. They have wonderful activities. It is a very well-rounded program. Once a week, they have a big event, which is unusual. They have a lot of outings where they go to casinos. They also have speakers come in. The community was excellent. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I enjoyed my visit. The director was very helpful in giving me information about the facility. The staff was very friendly. The food was very nice. The grounds were very beautiful. The atmosphere was very nice. The activity director explained to me the different tours that were going on and a number of activities that they had in the facility.
