I visited this facility
Atria Sunlake is the place we're going to go with. Everyone was so happy with it. The tour was a great experience. The apartments were very clean, very well kept, and very spacious. The staff we met during our tour was nice, and even the residents we ran into were very pleasant. It was a very pleasant experience all the way around. We tried to think of something we didn’t like, and we couldn’t think of anything. We checked their 2 dining rooms, and they had plenty of space. The dining areas were open from 7 to 6, so anytime you want to go down to eat, you can. We attended the happy hour while we were there. It was about 3 o'clock, they had a big gathering, and that was a lot of fun. They had lots of good activities, and the whole place was clean and well kept. It was a nice setting for the seniors.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My dad was at Atria Sunlake for a while. He loved it but cannot afford it. It's a really happy place. Everybody was friendly, and the staff seemed good. We did not have any complaints. The room was great, and they had entertainment every day, so there was always stuff going on to keep them busy. There was social interaction in the place.

They were very nice, and the food was very good at Atria Sunlake. I would pick this because the price is good. I would give them a five. It was good.

I visited this facility
The staff in Atria was very nice and pleasant. They gave me the information I wanted and they showed me around. I have seen the menu but I saw the dining room which was lovely. The community seemed really nice. They have bingo and taking out the residents. I like the place as it really seemed pleasant and I would surely recommend it.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I have been living here at Atria Sunlake for three years. I choose it probably because as soon as I came in here, I felt comfortable. It is in the area where I want to live because I have two sisters who live close to me here. The price is just right for me. The thing that really stands out to me are the people that work here, how friendly and kind they are. I am talking about everyone, from the sales marketing, the house keeping staff, to the waiters and waitresses. It has a really friendly atmosphere. They are just very nice and they like old people. The directors are very helpful and genuine. They listen to people. We have people here who are gluten-intolerant and the head chef is very careful to make sure that they have the right kind of food. He tries to make people satisfied with the food and keeps it healthy. They have a good selection of food. They have specials and most of the time, they are very good and there's always something you can eat if you don't like the special. I have a studio apartment, but they also have a two-bedroom apartment. My room has a bathroom with a shower, a small kitchen area that has a microwave, a sink and a very small refrigerator. I have a queen size bed, a large TV, a recliner chair and a big dresser. It has plenty of space for one person. However, I am not usually in the room because I am usually out doing the activities. Seven days a week, I play cards all afternoon. My friend and I set up a nice table inside the library and we play canasta, bridge and pinochle. I also participate in the entertainment that they have twice a week or more. They have different people who come and play music. I do bingo once in a while. I try to go to their chair exercises. I also play the brain game, which is a trivial pursuit. I watch a lot of movies on Saturday and Sunday nights. I also try to know everybody because I am the president of the residents' council here. We have great transportation taking us to places. They have lots of activities. I think they need to have a better screening process on who will live here, and I do consider myself lucky to live here. Honestly, I highly recommend this place.
