I am/was a resident of this facility
Taylor Home is the cheapest one in town, but it is adequate. It is small, and there is no kitchen at all, which I am sort of disappointed with. It is very nice and clean, they take pretty good care of the grassy areas, and they have lovely trees. That is one of the reasons I agreed to move here because there are lots of oak trees, and they are beautiful. I have one right outside my front door, and surely I have a nice location. Their assisted living facility is in the same building as the offices. The independent living is just spread out all over the place; they are apartment buildings, and it is so easy to get from here to there. The staff is very friendly, and they do their job. They have no interest in helping you -- this is in the independent living part. Whatever your problem is, you solve it yourself. They are not going to help you do anything. They are nice, but they are not helpful. They have a restaurant in the assisted living -- a little room with tables set up and everything -- where the people from the assisted living eat, and you can eat there from the independent living if you want. You just have to buy a little ticket for the food.
