Reviews of Regents Point | Independent Living

I visited this facility
I like Regents Point a lot. I thought the place was really nice, and the facilities were beautiful. The person who gave us the tour was really great. They have a really nice beauty parlor, a beauitful pool for the independent living, and a lot of activities going on. I would give it 5 stars for the independent living. It was our second choice. I thought the dining area was really nice, and it looked like the residents were really enjoying the food. It was really nice.
Thank you for your excellent review and the five star rating. It is great to hear you enjoyed seeing the common areas. I am happy you liked the tour given to you. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

I visited this facility
We did go see Regents Points for my parents. I felt like the facility needed to be updated. It looked quite old. The staff who assisted us was very nice, but it felt like it was too long. I took my elderly mother there, so to be there for three hours is just too long. Although it was nice that she took time, it was just a lot of information to go over. We basically wanted to see what the facility looked like. Also there weren't any activities going on while we were there. The unit that she showed us, somebody had recently moved out, and that's exactly what it looked like. I don't think they should ever show a property that looks like that. They should have a model set up so that people can look at it.
I am so sorry for the bad experience. We do have a model room to show. I hope you give us another opportunity and return to our community.

Regents Point is closer to our original house, very good and we like it. They have a good library, a fitness center and very good transportation. The staff is very friendly, good and gentle. The room is good with very good view and we have 2-bedrooms. They renovated it; it’s a brand new place.
Thanks so much for taking time to write a review for us. We really appreciate your comments!

We have total, good, non-invasive care available 24/7. Our dining room is exemplary. There are many activities, some, like the Library and the Country Store run by volunteers; others provided by Management. In our fully-equipped gymn, we have exercise and chair yoga as well as individual training available. Bridge games, etc. constantly. Transportation for medical appointments provided. Several doctors come here weekly.
