I visited this facility

Proveer at Quail Creek was very nice. I just felt like the apartment was too small. It's compact. There wasn't a whole lot of room, but it was incredibly nice and the people were great. Downstairs was nice, too. They have a lot of tables and things, and it's pretty big and spacious.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom moved into Proveer at Quail Creek. This place is clean and there's no bad smell. There's a lot of residents sitting out. My mom's room is comfortable, clean, and nice, but I'm not really happy with the staff. Every time I go there at different times of the day she's in her room sleeping. I don't know why they don't get her out and make her interact with other people. When I was there yesterday, this lady came in a hurry because she wanted to give my mother a bath. And mom asked her if she could wait till tomorrow, and she said no. And then this lady started yanking clothes out of the closet so she could get done with my mom's shower. For the price that we're paying, all they're doing is letting her sleep, eat, and giving her medications. They have a TV room and sometimes people are in there watching TV. They need to provide more activities to encourage interaction and stimulate them mentally. One day I was there she had pork loin, and it was dry and tough, and she couldn't chew it. She also had mashed potatoes and gravy, and some steamed vegetables. So after she ate the mashed potatoes, she asked for more, and they didn't have any more to give her. When I went there on the first day that she was there, she did not have a toilet paper holder in the bathroom, so I bought one and put it in there. Three or four days later, it was missing. And then yesterday, I was looking for her hand soap pump dispenser, and that was missing too. The blue jeans that she wore the day she went in there are missing. I had to return three different items of clothing and towels that didn't belong to her.

I visited this facility

I liked that Proveer at Quail Creek was clean and bright. There was a lot of light that came in. I liked that I could see residents all over the place and involved in whatever they were doing. It was just nice to see them out. They weren't stuck in their rooms or anything. Everything they had to offer sounded wonderful, like the daily checking on mom. They will check on her every 15 minutes if they have to because she's a high fall risk. The staff was friendly and social. They weren't hanging out at the breakroom or hanging out by the trash cans, like they were at another place that I went to. They seemed very well-liked. There was no bad odor. I was just very impressed when I went in. I would live there myself if I could. It was not luxury, but it was very nice. Everything was remodeled, so it was all brand new. It was very nice to see that there was so much light and so much openness. It just made you feel good. It was not all closed in. The staff members were smiling. I didn't see anybody mad. I didn't see any disgruntled people. Everybody was just super friendly. I was told it's like that every day because they really love working there. It really showed. I overheard a customer, who left the building and went out to lunch with a family member. He said it wasn't nearly as good as the food here, so that told me a lot too. They have excellent food, and there is a lot of variety. I didn't see any overflowing trash. It didn't look rundown. It looked like everything was right on point. I saw the assisted living, and they said that they have a stepdown program. Once mom is there, they will care for her, even if she gets worse as she ages. I was very worried I would have to change facilities, and they said her deal is locked in. If she needs more care, they're willing to give more care, even if she ends up being bedbound. It sounded great to me. I liked everything about it. Even the price was good. I believe they have very fair and competitive fees. I'm very happy with my decision. I just need to get a hold of my siblings and make sure everybody agrees before I send mom off somewhere.

I toured Proveer at Quail Creek. It was great. The staff was wonderful. The apartments were great. The dining area was great. I tried their food, and it was great. They have group activities. They have people come in to entertain, like musicians, comedians, and others like that. They have outings and go to the zoo, arboretum, or whatever.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We moved our grandmother into Proveer at Quail Creek. She finally moved into memory care. Everybody inside was very helpful and very informative. The inside had pretty much all of the activities that any elderly person can do, either by themselves or with each other. All the staff is very attentive and very helpful. My grandmother said that she's just been very happy, and very satisfied. She told me the food's actually been pretty good. She gets three-course meals every day, and they also have an alternate options menu. If she doesn't like what's being served that day, she can choose another menu of alternatives, so she's had a pretty good variety of what to eat over there. They have daily activities. When I was over there last, they were doing a cardio drumming. They'll put on a song and all of the residents would pretty much use their drumsticks to like beat along to the beat of the song. Other than that, they do different arts and crafts, they play songs on the piano, and they go outside. They get transportation if they need to go shopping. It's a pretty wide variety of different activities. What really won us over with this place was just the kindness of everybody. Even when I was looking, just to get the prices and the information, they treated me as if I was one of their own.

We visited Proveer at Quail Creek assisted living, which we liked a lot. It's what I'm looking for, it's care-oriented and very lively. We liked it a lot. We've had a positive experience, and just from our visit, we'd recommend them to anyone. We had snacks when we walked in that looked very good and they were hand-prepared. It's spacious, well-laid out and everything seemed nice. It had a spacious green area at the back that you can walk around in which is nice.

I chose Proveer at Quail Creek for my mom because it was recommended by a friend. She moved in. Everybody is very kind, and everybody is very loving to all the residents. They call us if there's anything that needs attention. They keep in touch with us. Their service is really good and thoughtful. It's older, but it is still really nice. I know they're going to do some remodeling, but it's good. I like it. They have a salon. On different floors for assisted living people, they have places where they can work out or exercise. They have like an area where families can meet privately with their family member. They have enclosed yards where they can go and stuff like that. One of the things we liked about the place is you know what the price is going to be. It's not like the add-on services, or every time they add on the service they add more to your bill. Here, whatever you pay is for everything, so we like that a lot.

My cousin moved to Quail Creek. We chose it because it simulated her environment at home. They've just been most cooperative and very patient with me because I had to move her from out of state. They've been really gracious. The staff had been outstanding, and her appetite has been extremely good. It's clean, and the I like the way that they've got it organized. The programs that they have available for the residents are OK. They have all of the amenities. They have outside activities and transportation, like the metropolitan library, available to the residents. The clients seem to be satisfied overall or those that I have come in contact with.

I visited this facility

Quail Creek is newer and has more people. Their residents are more high-functioning than the age-in-place facility we toured. So in the dining room, they were all conversing and there was a lot of activity. They have a lot of activities because they got more residents, they have a happy hour and they have good energy and good activities. And they'll take them places. The rooms were spacious. It was bright and it was cheerful.

Quail Creek Assisted Living looked very nice. It's definitely a place to think about for sure. The rooms were adequate. They were good (not luxurious), but it's nice. It's definitely clean. It would be more homey, but they don't come furnished. It would be a lot different looking with furniture, of course. She was very friendly, courteous, and very professional. There were a few people watching TV and a few people just sitting on couches. I liked it because it's all inclusive.

Quail Creek was a nice place. The staff was attentive, toured us around and answered all the questions that we had. They have someone who provides and schedules the activities for the people there. Someone would come in once a week to do hair. The place itself was clean and looked modern. The dining room was set up nicely, and the room we saw in the assisted living was a little small but nice. They invited us to have a meal there or to go back for lunch but we weren't able to.

My father is in Quail Ridge Assisted Living. It's very clean and the people are really friendly. They have a large swimming pool, a therapy room, a large dining area, there's one party each month, activities every day, a game room, a bus that takes them to the store, trips to wherever they need to go, a nurse on staff, and a doctor. You can eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner with them, and they have a nice selection.

My mom stayed for only four days. She had early dementia, and they had a lot of patients there who had pretty severe dementia. I thought it was a good facility, and the staff was good. I thought it was more of my mom’s reaction to it. I thought she would have been fine had we made her stay and let her make some friends.
