My visit to Holiday Greeley Place was good. The staff was nice. They were very concerned. They showed me one of the rooms. The room was nice, but the neighborhood was not as nice as some of the other places that I toured. The establishment was quite older compared to others. They were located a little bit close to the interior of downtown. The place itself was clean. It was old, like it's been around a while. They did say that they are going do a remodel, change the carpet, and do some painting to bring it a little more up to date. I was thinking that since it's an older building, they can probably be a little more flexible with the rates because this facility is expensive.

My uncle moved into Holiday Greeley Place. He is 89 years old and blind, and now they're going to stop all food delivery to the rooms. He's just living in his room because he can't see to go anywhere else. We have senior helpers that come in the morning and in the evening to help him with his evening meals, but we share the burden of being down there every day for lunch to feed him. It was the cheapest place we could get him into, so that's why we took it. He has a studio apartment. It's just one big room and then the bathroom. For him, that's fine. The 1-bedroom apartment that I saw while passing by through the hallway looks adequate that you could live in. Some of the staff are good, and some of them are bad. We have questions for some of them that don't get answered. We have excellent care from the therapist who is not involved with Holiday. They are a separate organization. We love the senior helpers, but they're a separate organization as well. They're supposed to serve three meals a day. When we signed the contract in December, they told us that my uncle could eat in his room and three meals a day would be delivered. Starting February 5th, he has to eat in the dining room. The food is terrible. It is basically independent living but they sold us that they would have people to help him and they had ambassadors that would go visit him and they just made it sound like it was just going to be OK for him. We expressed to them very, very often and firmly that he was blind and they said that was not going to be a problem. But now, they don't follow up.

We toured Holiday Greeley Place and we had a meal there. It was really good and seemed healthy, my kids were with me and they both ate as well and they loved it. The appearance of the place was great. It had a very homey atmosphere and was very clean. They showed me their library, the video room where they watch movies, they showed me all the common areas, and there's one area where they have church services. We also saw the dining room and the rooms.

My friend Dick moved into Holiday Greeley Place a few months ago prior to passing away. Robert the manager there was always very helpful and friendly to all who came by. Thank you Holiday Greeley Place for helping my friend and his family in support of Dick. Richard W. from Pierce CO. I can say the Staff and Facilities are 5 of 5. I'm not sure about the other things about the items.

My brother is living at Holiday Greeley Place. I know they give him three meals and they clean their rooms. They do exercises and they have different activities for the seniors, too. They take them on tours, they have singing, and they play bocce. They have all kinds of activities going on sometimes. Because you don't cook, the only appliance you have is a microwave and a refrigerator to keep food. They serve your meals and if you can't make it to the dining room, they'll bring it to you. They're always nice to me, and when I ask them to do things for my brother, they do it. They're very friendly and helpful. The seniors also are involved. They're like stewards of the place. They welcome you and they sit and talk and answer all your questions. Family members can join them during their dinner or lunchtime. The food is good. They have like a large serving or a small serving depending on the senior. I also see the seniors have fun and compete to keep them active.

We toured Greeley Place. It was a welcoming place. The tour guide had a lot of knowledge about the place, and the residents were very happy and welcoming as well. We visited a studio and a couple of one-bedrooms. They have smaller kitchens because all the meals are provided in the dining room. Some of them have balconies. It's a smaller place, but it's a very nice little place. We saw a few of their community rooms or activity craft rooms, and there's a library and a workout room. They showed us where they play games, and have a church or other community events as well. The facility itself is set up as independent living, but you're allowed to bring people in to assist you. They have some people who live there through hospice and death because people have come in to help them. They're not an assisted care facility.

We toured Greeley Place. The staff was very nice. While we were doing our tour, there were several of the residents who said that they really liked the place. The manager was the one who showed us around. The general manager was real cordial and answered all the questions that we had. My friend decided to go ahead and go there. As a matter of fact, he is signing his contract right now. He showed us several rooms. Some are studio apartments and 1-bedroom apartment on all three floors. They're very nice. My friend selected a studio apartment because it was going to be big enough for what he needs. We checked several places in Greeley and for the money, I think, the Greeley Place was the best place for what he needs. The place has been kept up. It's very nice. The dining room is really nice because it's on the third floor, and it overlooks the north end of Greeley. It has great big windows and real wide open. It has an open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling.

My husband and I moved into Greeley Place 8 years ago. He passed away 2 years ago. This was a good decision and we have been at home here. All the staff has been very congenial and helpful. It has been so nice to have my room and beds done every week. Clean sheets and towels has been appreciated, and the girls have been pleasant and detailed keeping things on schedule. The meals have been exceptional and always balanced nutritionally. We have always eaten all 3 meals and never needed to snack. When I needed low salt Marcus was good at cutting the salt content. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, pleasant, congenial in every way. The newest staff, Adam is so capable, knowledgeable on all areas, able to take over games, phone teaching, being a pleasant hostess, or entertaining himself. Tara is able to take over all areas and adjust to fit whatever they need. She is very efficient on the phone and greeting people, as well as covering serving in the dining room, games or hospitality. Nate has been the best maintenance man I have ever seen. He keeps all the residents happy with all repairs, plus keeping rooms up on cleaning, carpets, paint, all outside work and supervising roof repair and so on.
