The Bridge Retirement and Assisted Living Independent Living

This place has the best service! The best of the best in caregiving! they are so.loving and thoughtful. Searching for the best ? then the bridge is what you want! it's a fabulous place. 1 Downside is ( the food is NOT good ) But Nobodys perfect.

The Bridge was a very nice place; it was very family oriented. The rooms and apartments were very nice. They had good-sized studios and one bedrooms, and I liked it a lot. They had all kinds of activities going on, games, bingo, crafts, and exercise. They were very friendly, loving, and very caring. I felt just very comfortable. I did talk to the lady in charge of the cafeteria, and she was wonderful. She sits down with all of the new people and finds out what their likes and dislikes are and if they're talkative or not, but if they're not talkative, she doesn't sit them with somebody that talks a lot. They are just really wonderful.

I was at The Bridge for a year and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody that's got half a brain. They had an administrator who was bent on making life horrible for everybody. She won't let me use my scooter, she told people different, kind of mean things, and she was just horrible. Because of that, I would give this facility an absolute thumbs-down. However, excluding her, most of the staff there were awfully nice. The activity director for instance was very nice and was very active in trying to take people places, do things, and make pretty good things for residents to do. With regards to food, some residents complained about the lack of variety. They did have the same menu each week. However, I thought the food was very good and filling. I had been to places that sure were a lot worse than this.
