Holiday Parkside Court was lovely. The people were nice. It was just too expensive. That's the only thing we had against it. It didn't fall in our price range at all. The apartments were lovely. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. We had a great time. We saw the dining area and it was also lovely. It's just beautiful.

Holiday Parkside Court was beautiful and the people that we met were very happy that they were there. The staff was good. The facilities were gorgeous. There's a lot of walking, which probably is good for the residents because we've got to keep them active. It was real nice. We saw a room for an individual setup, and the room was very large. It had two sections where you could have a living room, a kitchen area, and a separate bedroom area. I liked that very much. The food smelled good. They had several different areas for the residents to meet and do board games, card games, and just sit out and enjoy the environment. They have nice fireplaces to sit around in the winter. They have a hair salon and I think you can also get your nails done. They have laundry that you can do yourself, or someone will come and do it for you. I think there's another group connected with the place that will do extra care if a resident needs it. It's right there in the facility.

We loved Holiday Parkside Court. We thought it was fantastic. They invited us to go during lunchtime, so we were able to eat their food. I immediately sat down and started talking to one of the ladies at the neighbor's table. One of them got up and sat at our table. And then they brought over another resident whom they call the ambassador. We had interacted with the residents privately so they could tell us anything they didn't like but everybody was just gushing about it. They've got all kinds of activities every day, sometimes several times a day. We looked at several apartments. We even asked if we could screen in the little porch and they were just so willing to accommodate that. It was amazing. They didn't try to hide anything. They were just wonderful people. There was an outside church group that took care of the grounds, and it was just stunning. They were actually in the process of renovating, but it was spectacularly clean. Even though there was nothing on the walls because they were in the process of redecorating, it was still very clean and very tidy.

Holiday Parkside Court was nice. It had patios, it had a nice beauty shop, and it had French doors so people can walk in and out of that door from their apartment. Their grounds outside were clean and well-maintained. The person giving us the tour was wonderful and she baked us some cookies. If you need any help, she offered to help us with anything right off the bat, whether it be programs or phone numbers we needed for anything. I didn't see nor tried the food, but you just smell the aroma throughout the building. They were playing bingo when we visited, there was also a gym or fitness room, recreation area, and multiple TV rooms. We looked at three apartments, I noticed that a couple of the rooms they showed us had the smell of urine. They were doing some painting so there were paint things there and everything, but it was nice. It's just the odor that we picked up on a certain part of the building.

I went and toured Holiday Parkside Court. I thought it was nice. I toured a one-bedroom downstairs, and I liked that. I liked the fact that the shower is handicap accessible, and I like that the unit had a way to go outside. Then I toured a two-bedroom upstairs, which was nice. Their dining room and all the different areas were exceptional. The staff members were nice people. I saw some of the people that were living there, and they were all very friendly, too. Some of them were doing activities like checkers and different things. Overall, it was wonderful.

My brother was in Holiday Parkside Court for three years. You have an individual apartment and you have the dining room, the food, all that was just excellent. And he liked being on his own, he liked it. It's just so sad that it's either you have to hire somebody, come in there and do it or you have to move them. But it is a wonderful facility, and he was in the main area, which is like an apartment, with his own bathroom. It was a big room, it's all bedroom and living room, all in one. And then he had a key. It's just like an apartment. You have a small amount of exercise equipment, I think they have games, and they do different things, not so many activities. It was all during the pandemic, so a lot of that they didn't keep doing. The staff did well, and the food was good. It was up to date.

Holiday Parkside Court is beautiful. I've met a lot of people and everybody seemed to be very, very welcoming. They are helpful, easy to get along with and answer all my questions. I have a balcony in my apartment. There's also a gazebo out in the yard and plenty of walking spaces outside. The dining room is wonderful. I get three meals a day here. A lot is going on. There are different games and crafts, and there's an exercise room that you can go to.

My mother now lives in Holiday Parkside Court. I like the fact that she no longer has to go out and shop for groceries, she doesn't have to drive anymore and she doesn't have to clean or do her own laundry. Somebody does all of that. I was concerned about her nutrition and that is no longer an issue because they feed her three meals a day and they're all wonderful meals. They have activities for them to do daily. It's just a great spot, it's a great place. They have multiple games that they can play throughout the week. There are at least two different social activity-type things that they can do per day, and they rotate. And then there are even some exercise classes that they can go to, and they have a walking club. Every other week they have lunch or brunch, and they'd go out on their bus and they go to a different restaurant, might be in town, might be in a different town. And then on the opposite week, they have a country ride where the bus takes them out in the country and they find interesting things to see and do too. I just thought that the facilities could use a little bit of an update. The food is really good, I eat there with her at least once a week.

Holiday Parkside Court is a very active community. They have a variety of room plans available and my visit was very good. I saw a studio room and some different one-bedroom options. Some had patios, some did not. The staff was very good, answered all of my questions, and even offered some other ideas and possibilities as I'm getting information. They have dining, and activities, they also take their residents out on activities, and there is physical therapy available. I know they're getting ready to do some renovations in the future.

My mother-in-law was a resident of Holiday Parkside Court. It's beautiful. Everybody's nice, and helpful, and they took good care of my husband's mom. Somebody came in and helped her with her medicines. Everybody was nice, and she liked it. We didn't see a whole lot because we just stayed in her room mostly. We ate with her in the dining room once and the food was really good. They have church services, and we like that. I know they had a lot going on, but she just didn't participate much. They have laundry, little recreational rooms where they can relax in and play checkers or chess, and puzzles. I thought that was good.

Parkside has been a great place for my mom for years. She always feels safe, well taken care of and comfortable. Kyla, Abbie and Lisa are always ready to help with any concerns or questions. Having physical/occupational therapy on the property has been very nice so mom doesn’t have to leave home. Mom also loves having a hair stylist on the property. Parkside provides lots of entertainment and activities for its residents. Also bus outings to restaurants and other entertainment. I would highly recommend Parkside.

Parkside Court went above and beyond to help me with a friend and now current resident. Abbie went out of her way to make her feel comfortable and welcomed. Chef Aaron made her a wonderful cherry pie and has checked on her daily. As my friend said, “Tim is the best driver in the whole county.” Everyone has made what could have been a very difficult process easy.

Parkside Court is the only one I visited. The lady there was very kind. She had some options, but this is independent living, so I don't know if my friend is ready for that yet because home care is going to be seeing him for a while. It's very nice. The only thing I think would be helpful is if they had a nurse on staff, just to check on people, and they don't have that. They have some staff, but they're nothing medical. It's very nice. Actually, my brother stays there, and he is on the second floor. We've been very happy with their care. He has been there for a littlw while now and it's been very, very nice. He is very comfortable there. My brother says the food OK. Some days he likes it better than other, but that could be just depending on people's likes and dislikes. But he really likes it there. He's upstairs, but his room is very nice. He has a balcony that he can go out on, which is really nice because it faces the Parkside Drive, which is nice. He is kind of on the corner, so he can see the corner of the street, that's Central, and then the part of Parkside, and there's a school over there and the playground, so it's kind of nice he can see kids and he loves it outside there. He did a buy-in with them, which is really nice. He is on a fixed income, it works out great because he only gets so much a month, and they locked it in with this is buy-in, which is a nice option. You don't have to, but it's a nice option, especially people like that on a fixed income. He likes the activities a lot, and they even have some outdoor activities in the summer, which have been nice. They have a sitting area, it's got a permanent canopy thing over it, which is nice, because if it's cooler or really warm, they can sit out there. The lawn that they have done is beautiful. It's very attractive, the whole front. They are very cordial when you enter. During the virus thing, they were having people sign in and they would check your temp. There was a temp device there. I guess at one point they did have medical staff, which was really nice. That's the only thing that I think would be a great asset to go back to. The lady was very cordial. She's even called me back just following up, which was very nice, to see if there was anything else she could do while my friend was in the hospital. That was very kind of her.

Parkside Court was a wonderful place, but I don't think it's a place that fits our needs at the moment. The people were wonderful, and I really love the place, but if we were going to do this, it should have been done a year ago. We couldn't afford to do it a year ago, however, and my mom really wasn't ready then. She has declined rather quickly, though. I was very impressed with the organization. They had a lot of good things. It would have been a great match a year ago, but my mom was very insistent about staying at home. I really loved the people, and I loved everything about it; it is just I don't think it's a match for us at this point. It was a nice, clean place, and the people seemed nice. I had no issue with them, but it's just not a fit right now. They've been wonderful about keeping in contact. I really liked the rooms that they showed me.

Parkside Court was really nice. We were pleased with it, but they didn't have the size of the rooms we wanted at that time. That's what held us up right there. A lot of it was price, too, that was holding us back. The staff was very polite and very knowledgeable. Anything that we asked, we got a good answer. The apartments were really nice, but the one-bedroom wasn't enough because my husband has a lot of gear with his lymphedema. He has boots and machine and all sorts of stuff that he has to take with him, and we really needed a two-bedroom, and they didn't have any. Everything we saw was nice. We saw one-bedroom apartments on the second and first floor, and they were all nice. The facility was very clean and very nice, and anything you could possibly think of to do was there. They had places where you could put puzzles together, a place to watch television, and a place where they would play games. You could walk all the way around the place. You could do just about anything you wanted to there. They had a beauty shop, people who would come if you had special needs, just about anything you could think of that you needed, you could get. I was really impressed with it. Everybody was very polite. When you walked up to it, everything on the outside was clean and fresh. They take a lot of patience to keep it nice outside even. It was really pretty outside.

My mother-in-law lived at Parkside Court. It was great, but it wasn't a perfect fit for her because she was a little bit too independent. The staff was very good. When I ate there, it was very good. The dining room was very nice, and it was just lovely. They came and cleaned the apartments, and it was very nice. They had games, music, church services, television, and groups come in and entertain them.

I went to Parkside Court and visited the building and the complex. It was an in-person tour. I didn't see much of the community there as there wasn't anybody out and about. It was kind of standoffish. It wasn't nice and homey like I was expecting, but that's not their fault if the people don't get out. The upkeep was good. It didn't seem like they'd kept up with the decorations very well. They were kind of worn out so to speak, but that might be because I'm not ready to move yet. The rooms were small. The staff was very nice and very cooperative. I only dealt with one person, so I can't judge everybody based on that one person.

My father moved to Parkside Court and he likes it so far. They have all kinds of activities and he enjoys that. Their staff is fine and his room there is nice. The dining area there is very nice and set up in a formal concept, they also have an outdoor area. I would describe the overall atmosphere is comfortable.

I was not impressed with Parkside Court. I had an appointment and I had to wait because the person giving the tour was on the phone. They also got a lot of problems going on within the staffing, and a lot of them were unhappy. The place was a little bit dirty. The cost was expensive for what I will be getting. She showed me the dining room, the exercise room, the beauty shop, and an efficiency and a 1-bedroom. There's nothing going on for the residents.

We're very impressed with Parkside Court. It's an excellent facility, and we didn't see anything we didn't like. The apartments were adequately sized. The place was very good. We saw the people eating, and it looked like they were happy. One time we were there, they were playing games in the dining room.

I didn't like Parkside Court. Some of the rooms were nice and had nice balconies, but they're small and the price was high. The gentleman who showed the place to me didn't act like he really cared whether we checked into it any further or not. He quickly showed me through, and then another woman handed me the packet. The gentleman was nice, but he wasn't a very good representative. They had this deal where you eat at certain hours, and that probably should be changed. I think the open times to eat are much better than set times to eat.

My mother-in-law has already moved into Parkside Court. We are very pleased with the housekeeping. They come in every week and clean, they provide sheets and change the beds, and they bring towels and the toilet tissue. They have all the meals prepared in the dining hall, in which there are usually 4 choices that you could pick from. We like the fact that they have snacks after hours. After the dining room has closed, there is a refrigerator that has got usually sandwiches and desserts, and they have all the snacks available in that form. They do activities with them. They have euchre, dominoes, and puzzles; they have all sorts of things like that. They will provide transportation if you need it. They’ll take you to the doctors’ appointments or the hairdresser, and they will pick up prescriptions; they do all of that. The managers are very nice. They try to be on a level with the people as far as calling them by names so they know exactly who it is; that really impressed our family. The housekeepers and the people in the dining hall do the same thing. So when they walk by they say, “Hi, so and so,” and from that aspect, it is very inviting. They bring in entertainment for them. A lot of times after their lunch meal or after the dinner meal, they will have entertainment. They also have crafts; they have everything for you. You could actually live there, and they provide everything. It is just like if you were in a condo situation or an apartment building. It is very clean, and there is somebody cleaning and stuff almost continuously, so when you go in you see somebody cleaning. It is 2-floors, and they have 1-bedroom apartments, 2-bedroom apartments, and the efficiency apartment. They also have a hairdresser there too. I like the fact that if anybody could move in there and you are independent, you can come and go if you please, and you don’t have to sign in or sign out. The building is locked at night after a certain time that you have keys, and every family member gets keys, so they can come and go. You can come into the apartment at any time, and you are not limited to any of that. It is just the atmosphere of the whole place, and everybody is really friendly there.

Parkside Court is very nice and clean. It has nice people. The staff is friendly and helpful. My mom's room is small but adequate. She does not care for the food; she thinks it's just okay. Parkside Court is excellent and quiet. The manager who on-site has a lab that's there all the time so it didn't put her off that I had a 113-pound dog. The dining room was restaurant-style. It's very open and beautiful, and they give you many options.

Parkside Court was very clean, and there wasn't an odor. Everybody was really friendly and going out of their way, even the residents that were there were very nice. I was really impressed with the cleanliness and the fact that they had it set up with art pieces on the walls. It really looked upscale and really nice. They had bingo, travel programs, a crafts room, a lounge room with TV, and a beautician on-site. The managers live there. There is a nurse on-site all of the time, which is very comforting to me. Mom said it was 5-star dining and everything was really fresh. They had a snack room where the residents can just go in and everything will be provided, which is part of your monthly allotment. They can have fresh fruits and vegetables as snacks. The dining area had white tablecloths on it and people were being waited on just like in a real restaurant.

My brother is in Parkside Court. The staff seems really nice. The lady helps set him up. I eat dinner with him and see him 2 times a day. The room is pretty nice. He has a studio because he is by himself, but it is in a right size. It is all open except for the kitchen and the bathroom. The dining room is really nice, and the food is really good. I like the grounds that they have at Parkside Court. They have a little garden area, and it's nice. The rooms seem a little smaller, though. The kitchen is just really not a separate room; it's just up against the wall of one big rectangle room. The kitchen is at one end, and the living area is at the other end. The staff seems to be very nice. They do have activities. The dining area is very nice. The facility is very clean.
