I visited this facility
The tour I had at The Inn at Garden Plaza went really well. The facility was very elegant. Amy was the person who took me on the tour, and she was very good and very thorough. It was a wonderful place, and the residents were very, very friendly and seemed happy. I asked a number of them how they felt about living there, and they all said they were really happy to live there. They had a lot of programs and a lot of activities that were interesting to me. I liked that they take them out on short hikes in the mountains. They also have a lot of exercise classes (some in the pool). The staff all seemed very competent. I also met a couple of the maintenance people. Their activities director was extremely good. They all seemed to know what they were doing and were friendly. The only drawback was the price. I looked at two rooms that they had open at the time. One was an empty 1-bedroom and the other one was a large studio. The difference between them was ten square feet, and the price between them was $600 a month difference.

I live in The Inn at Garden Plaza in Colorado Springs. It's an independent living and they provide 3 meals a day. I've only been here for a couple of months now but this is probably the best community I have ever heard of. They have a wonderful staff, everybody is so caring and so thoughtful of how you're feeling, and they have great activities. They have so many activities like Bible studies, ladder ball, card playing, exercise classes, water aerobics, and they have all kinds of things here. The food is top-notch, it's excellent. The dining area is beautiful, it's very big and very accommodating. I love my room. It's just a studio, but it's a perfect size. It's very, very clean and very pretty. I have housekeeping once a week. They change my sheets, clean my bathroom and my kitchen, mop the floor, and they vacuum. It's just outstanding. I would recommend this place. The staff is wonderful. They go out of their way to be accommodating to you and they're just wonderful. They're always there for anything that you need.

I visited this facility
The Inn at Garden Plaza would have been our top choice except for the price. They were incredibly friendly; we had lunch with them and it was very active. The people who assisted me were very friendly. The layout of the rooms was smaller than the other place I toured but it was well-kept. Their food was the best that we had; it was very delicious. They showed us the calendar of all the activities and they have a bunch of activities.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
The management is very kind and efficient. My father lived living there. He was always treated well. His room, a studio, was perfect sized, the staff kept it clean and neat.he enjoyed visiting with the staff. The other residents are pleasant and get along well together. Dad enjoyed the field trips to Walmart, casinos, seeing the leaves change, and the other outings. The in house activities were numerous enough for him to stay as busy as he wanted to be.

The Inn at Garden Plaza is amazing! I was impressed by the many different activities they have. The rooms were wonderful and the staff is very nice and accommodating. There are many rooms that can be used for entertaining and the food was delicious!

I visited this facility
Inn at Garden Plaza is amazing. The staff and building are great. The food is awesome. The rooms are huge. Christine the ED is a wonderful person. The activities are so much fun. Everyone loves being together. The building has plenty to do. There is a putting green outside for golf enthusiasts. They go to Cripple Creek every month. Seminars for families to help figure out how to pay for living there on a routine basis. Great place to live

The Inn at Garden Plaza is a very nice place. I have a very nice apartment. I'm right across the street from my wife who's in long-term care. They have nice food, three meals a day, and brunch on Sundays. I have a 1-bedroom, a fairly large living room, almost a full kitchen with everything except an oven, a nice bathroom, a patio, and an outdoor storage closet. I'm very happy with it. They have more stuff than you can keep up with. They have a swimming pool, a pool room, classes, and Bingo. You name it, they have it. The staff is very friendly, very nice, and very efficient. The price is good and in line with everything I've seen. It's about average for this kind of a facility.

The Inn at Garden Plaza was lovely, and I liked that you can have your meals included. There seems to be a lot going on, and there are a lot of people playing bridge. There's just a lot of activity, and I like that. The girl who took me on the tour was very pleasant and fine. They had quite a selection of rooms, like 3-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 1-bedroom. It's centrally located, so it's convenient to my children and other things. It was beautiful and very nicely kept. There's a central area where everybody meets.

The Inn was a beautiful place but it was a little notch higher financially than we could afford. The people we met were very friendly; the residents were very happy and seemed very pleased and satisfied. It was very clean and very neat; it was beautiful outside, too.

I visited this facility
The Inn at Garden Plaza was very, very nice. It was very nice in appearance. What really impressed me when I went there and talked with the woman in charge of getting people in, was that the manager joined us and he seemed very interested, and I felt that it was very comprehensive and they seemed very interested and very willing to help. I remember there were long halls and there was a lot of walking, and that was a problem for my husband because he needs a walker and the halls are awfully long for that. Although, if the time came, I don't think that would be a deal breaker. Another thing I really liked was they had a large room that accommodated probably twenty people where once a week they can have philosophical discussions, and that is something my husband really likes to do.
