We ate at Holiday Sunridge. We liked meeting residents and getting to talk to them. That was probably one of the best facilities. Sharon, the administrator, and their tour guide, was good. She knew everybody. Even her own mom is there, and that always says good things about a place when your own family members are there. They are a little bit more worn. It's the least expensive, but for the price, it is great. They had kitchenettes, but sometimes instead of a full-sized or bigger-sized fridge, they just have a mini fridge. They have set mealtimes, at 8, 12, and 5. And for an independent living person, a set mealtime is not always what you want. However, the food was good, and they served you on time. The views from that place are wonderful, and it's in a nice neighborhood with trails not too far away. One of the library branches is close. There are some nice things about the area. They have a library. It's more where people have brought books in, you take books and you return books. It's like a library exchange. They have a beauty salon. They have some nice outdoor spaces, and a lot of people are taking advantage of them. Pretty much all the rooms have their own little balconies or little patios. Right now, their prices are lovely, and the people are nice. But it's just worn, and it just needs upgrades.

We went to Holiday Sunridge. It was nice, well-kept, and clean, but I did not like the idea that you did not have your own washer and dryer. The rooms were very nice. The girl that we worked with there that took us through was very nice as well. She brought us cookies. The food they make is tolerable for everybody. If you're lactose intolerant, you would let them know that, but as far as the normal food, all their food was made not overly sweet, not overly salty. It was very good food. The people seemed to be very friendly to one another. Everybody seemed to know everybody. However, it was a much older building.

I'm going to be moving to Holiday Sunridge. First, I like that it's convenient for a lot of things that I'd like to do in the area. I drive my own car and do my own errands, so I like where they're located. Number two, I like that it's not overly large but not too small, it's a good size. The units that they have are well-maintained. I've met some of the residents there, they're very nice, friendly, and welcoming. I feel confident that I'm making a good decision at this time in my life. I had lunch there, it was good and the food was appetizing. I saw a room with exercise equipment, I was told that they had trips on the bus and I saw the bus. They'll take people to activities when they schedule them, and they have ongoing activities as far as I know. They're all very nice - the people, the manager, the assistant, and everybody that helped me answer my questions were very friendly, very outgoing, and also patient because I had multiple questions. I wanted to see some other things and they took time to respond to all of my requests.

We went to Holiday Sunridge; apparently, they didn't know that there was an appointment made. It was very nice, but it was only private pay. We need a place that accepts Medicaid. The people that were there were very kind. The apartments were very nice. The studios were small, but they were nice. They had a laundry facility, a dining area, and a chapel. They're doing some nice upgrades. The staff was very nice.

I went to Sunridge. The size of the apartments was very nice, but the place seemed a little shabby. The staff didn't appear to be professional, but they were very nice and very friendly. The place was a little old. I think they've changed management, so they're working on it. It certainly wasn't at the standard of the other places. They had a country store and a chapel, and they played bingo.

Sunridge was excellent. It had excellent view, excellent facilities, and excellent staff. They had a good menu, quite a variety. There was at least a monthly basis, a good variation, and different meals. I pretty much like everything. The rooms were excellent sized and easy to get to. You can get from one area to another very easily. They have good community rooms and recreation rooms.

My dad. Has been a resident since 2012. They’ve always taken good care of him and been very loving towards him. They have also helped me a lot during this current pandemic. I appreciate the whole staff would recommend them to anyone

Disgusting food. Sales use bait and switch tactics. I feed my dog better than they feed the residents.

The apartment that we saw at Sunridge was nice. We also had lunch there, and the food was good. The one girl staff member that I met during the limited tour was also nice.

My daughter-in-law found this place, never let me look at it, I never would of moved in here , if I would of looked at it. It’s way too expensive, , still had to pay for cable and internet, the food was awful!, I had to still buy and pay for a lot of food, because I thought , the food stunk!, the so called called kitchenette, is a joke!, I was in a Manuel wheelchair and they put me on the 2nd floor not happy about that either, the staff that was there when I lived there, were, rude not helpful and nasty to me, as soon as my year was up!, I got out of there as fast as I could. So glad I left I would say beware of this place not as great as they make it out to be

Sunridge was not as bright as the others, but it was a little homier and the layout was well designed, with the community area in the center. It's a little dated, but it's comfortable and clean. It was one of my favorites. It's located in a little busy, but safe and clean, part of town. There were plenty of community areas and organized events that seemed fun for a retired person.

My father has lived at Sunridge for almost 3 years. I am so impressed at the welcome and effort put forth by Sunridge to welcome family, especially young children. They have activities and dinners almost every month at no charge to families. This allows for special memories for my grand children to have with Papa Great at his “home”. They bend over backwards for my father and encourage and welcome family always. Clean, great food and Caring people at Sunridge. Thankyou!

My mother has lived at the facility in Colorado Springs for almost 2 years. The staff seems to know her well and watches out for her. Just recently, she had a big health scare and Sharon and Katie were astute in obtaining help for her right away. I appreciate all that they did to recognize Health signs that indicated she needed hospitalization.

Everything about Sunridge is wonderful, and the only thing is the price because we cant afford it. The staff that accommodated us was fine and she was nice. We had lunch there and the food was good. The rooms that we saw there were very nice. We were there during lunch hour so most of the residents were eating and we havent observed any activities at the time. They had a beautician to do hair and stuff, and it was really nice.

My dad has moved into Sunridge. It is amazing. Everybody is wonderful. I have nothing bad to say at all. It is a fabulous place. The staff is incredible and very one-on-one with everybody. They're just fantastic. The place is clean. They go above and beyond. They have bingo, gardening, men's club, women's club, and puzzles. They celebrate every holiday, big or small. Once a month, they also have a family get-together. They try to include the family all the time and it is all free. It is phenomenal. My father doesn't participate in a lot of things, but that's just who he is. They take them to the doctor and they take them to the pharmacy; it's phenomenal.

Sunridge does good in making sure my dad eats, but it's definitely not somewhere O would have chosen knowing what I know now. It's not be a place where I would place somebody if they had certain issues. I wouldn't recommend the place to anybody. Instead of trying to score a lease or get a tenant, they should be a little bit more honest. They lead you to perceive some things, and the communication of some of the management is a bit rude and harassing. It shouldn't be like that. They just aren't listening for certain situations.

I liked Sunridge a lot. The staff was very caring toward the people who lived there. It was a nice facility. The rooms were really nice, very clean, and adequately sized. The kitchens were really small, but they had a dining facility.

Sunridge had a lot of very nice public rooms and a deck for social events. We saw a one-bedroom, dining room, and activity room that were bright and had a good amount of space. You'd probably be out in the public areas socializing and doing activities. They had a crafts room where you could do a puzzle or play cards, and they had a wine night once a week. The staff was very friendly and very willing to help.

Sunridge was a very clean and nice place. The price range was within our budget. The room was a pretty good size. The people were very friendly. They had an exercise room, but it was small. They talked to the residents and asked them what they would like to do and what kind of amenities they were interested in. That was nice. They were very good.

Sunridge is a very calm and very pleasant community. It has lovely rooms and lots of amenities. It has an in-home nursing staff that is there all the time. If your person needs that help, they can pay for that, but everything is included except for some home health care. It has great views, and the dining room is gorgeous. It had exactly what we needed.

What stood out when I had a tour at Sunridge was their menu. You can choose what you want to eat, and I like that. The staff was friendly, and the place was really clean. I also like that they allow their residents to have pets.

At Sunridge, it is independent living with a twist. You can live independently but if you need assistance, you can also get it there. The place was a little smaller so all of the staff know all of the residents. They were very close and very friendly, kind of like a family atmosphere there and I liked that about them. Their price was very reasonable, and the rooms were really big, bright, and roomy. They offer several activities but I did not see an opportunity to see any activities while I was there. We had a meal there and it was very good. Their food was excellent.

Sunridge looks great. They have bands that come in to play, bingo, and cards, and excellent food. They have a weight room, a lounge area, a beauty shop, and little shop. I would recommend this to others. The services are excellent for my mom.

The tour was good, my mom signed the agreement and changed her mind two days later. They essentially took 90 days of pay from her. The staff was nice and attentive, but the person who showed us around and signed the contract gave us a very hard sell. The rooms were clean, and it seemed like they have nice services.

From what I saw, Sunridge was very nice. I met one person who was extremely nice and courteous. She told me that any time I wanted to come back to visit with my son-in-law’s father just to feel free to come. I was impressed with the surroundings. It’s a very nice complex. I know where a few of the other places are in town, and I think this is one of the nicer ones. The grounds and buildings are good. It’s well taken care of.

Sunridge is a good place. It has clean surroundings and nice rooms. I was able to eat there during my visit. They had servers and had it set up like a restaurant with several choices on the menu.

My husband is living in Sunridge. They are wonderful. The staff is great. They are very helpful and friendly. The facility is absolutely beautiful. Their amenities are outstanding. They have craft and exercise classes. They have a car show and a barbeque out on the lawn on the first weekend. They have a luau one Saturday in the dining room. They do wonderful things. Their food is excellent. They have an excellent chef. She is wonderful. They are not only very reasonably priced, but they are outstanding.

I visited Sunridge, they had only a one-bedroom, and it was well above my means to pay because it was three meals a day. The staff was absolutely wonderful. She was on another tour when I arrived, and the manager began my tour with me. I did eat there, the food was wonderful, and the dining area was very nice. As a matter of fact, their chef is the top senior housing chef in their whole system, and she was the one who convinced me to stay for lunch. The rooms were too small. I was willing to look at a one-bedroom with a den, but they didn't have that. They have only one-bedrooms or two-bedrooms. The two-bedroom was $1,500 more than the one-bedroom, and I couldn't afford the one-bedroom, so it is not on my shortlist. They showed me the activities list, and they have a once a week grocery shopping, away trips, and visits like up in the mountains or day trips, and they have their own bus. They did not have garages, which was one of my requisites. They did have some covered parking that they charge extra for, and there weren't very many spots. I would describe it as excellent, but it did not meet my needs in regard to size.

My dad is in Sunridge. The food is very good, and I think the staff treats the people very nicely. They have a lot of games like pokeno and watercolor. They make birdhouses. They go to Cripple Creek. They play bingo, and they show movies. They have a bus that takes them on Tuesday and Thursdays to doctors, the bank, or shopping and all that. They seem very clean. They serve three meals a day, and it is a couple of miles from a hospital.

Sunridge was not an assisted living, something we needed at that time. They were very friendly. They took us on a tour, and the price was OK. They really helped the seniors there as much as they could to make sure that the seniors helped each other. The one that my mother could afford was a studio. Then a one-bedroom came available, and we chose the one-bedroom. The food was very good.

We spent one night in Sunridge right around Christmas and New Year. We are trying to get back into the place because we were pleased with it. My husband is meeting with the VA today because they are supposed to help us. The room we spend the night is furnished but very small. I would love to have one bigger. The refrigerator was so tiny that it was under the counter. You couldn't really put anything in it except for a couple of drinks. I know they have activities there because they have an activity room, but we actually did not participate in it. It was Saturday night to Sunday, and I did not think there was something going on then. I've never have any other experience with any other place, but we liked it well enough to want to go back. We are selling our house down here, and I've been packing up and getting ready. In general, I like the community.

We are very happy that we picked Sunridge. I think that the management team is very warm, the food is very good, and the residents seemed very happy. My mom’s room was very spacious. It didn’t feel like an institution to me; it felt more like family. It is independent living, but we have people come in and take care of my mom.

We did not care for Sunridge. It felt very dated. The residents were clean, but it didn't have an energy about it, and we were a little disappointed because that one was really close, and we thought we would like that. The person who gave the tour was very nice, and the staff was nice. It was easy to get around. The rooms were pretty generously sized.

I visited Sunridge. Their living quarters were great, and the facility was immaculate -- same with the dining area. They have an exercise room and a ballroom where they had activities. The staff was outstanding; they explained everything very well. I wouldn’t mind living there.

One key factor why we chose Sunridge for my brother-in-law is that it was close to us and so, it would be easy for us to provide the things that he needs. The facility is a very well-run community. The grounds are well maintained and they also have two manager couples who live in the building who are also available 24/7. They have very good meals. They have a chef on staff who's been there for I think, 10 or 15 years, and prepares very good meals. The residents were very friendly and they do have a lot of activities that he would enjoy participating in. They also provide transportation. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They try to accommodate whatever needs he has. He has one room with a large bathroom that is handicap accessible, and a kitchenette and it is well maintained. They also have a very reasonable price.

We moved my mother-in-law at Sunridge last November. They have been really nice. It's like a family there. The seniors are very welcoming. The staff is also extremely welcoming. They have time for any of our questions. They're really helpful with my mother-in-law adjusting there. At first, she did have a little bit of adjustment trouble. She was sick the instance she moved in. However, they were very nice and they called us at home when there's a problem. The room that she is in is very nice indeed. It's big and airy and it has a view of the mountains. Also the size of the room is very good for the price. So budget-wise, it would stretch her dollar further, which is really important to us. My husband previously was a chef and it was important for him to find a place where the food would be good. Also his mother likes good food. Fortunately, at Sunridge, they have a chef that has been there for over 20 years now. We ate two meals there before we moved her in and it was really good. For activities, they have exercise classes and weekly swimming class. They have other activities too, but those were the ones that are most important to us. At the facility, they also have a small chapel for Sunday services. They would hold small church gathering there. My mother-in-law is at an assisted living level, but she is in an independent place that has home health care. People would come in and do home health care for her. It's an efficient way for us. It also stretches her dollar longer. We really like it because it's really giving us the control to be really involved in her health care. We are able to help make decision on what's going on and meet the people that are actually caring for her, so that's really good too. Overall, it's exactly what we wanted and I think the most important thing is that people there are all caring. It's really a nice community.
