We certainly had a pleasant reception by the staff there at Belleair Country House, but we were not at all interested in the place. It is an old condominium conversion, and it was tired looking. It was exceedingly expensive for what you got. The apartments were spacious, but there was very little about the facility that was attractive or appealing. We were not at all interested. We would have liked to eat there, but we were unable to because the lunch hour is in a specific time period, and we couldn't get there during that time period. They were not willing to make any kind of exception so we could have tried their food. They had small tables scattered around in a medium sized dining room. They had a swimming pool that looked like it was almost never used. We did not see one resident while we were there. I don't know whether they were sleeping or all on a trip, but there wasn't one single person visible that lived there which was kind of a turn off. As for activities, they have some but not very many. According to the calendar they showed us, their activity schedule was really quite limited. They just need a whole lot of updating.
