I visited this facility

The Landings at Reed Station Crossing seemed like they had their act together. I was impressed that it was clean and they seemed to have good personnel and a fair amount of service for the amount of money. They had games set up somewhere and it looked like they had several decent activities. The apartment they showed me was the right size. It wasn't really cramped. It wasn't also a tremendous amount of room, but it was just adequate, enough to be comfortable. It wouldn't be like a studio apartment where you got everything on top of each other. It was like a separate bedroom. The people I met there seemed to know what they were doing. I wasn't there long enough to get a whole lot of evaluation, but it was enough for me to see that they were better than some of the other places I looked at.

The Landings at Reed Station Crossing is a new facility, maybe a few years old. It has a beautiful lake at the back. It has a koi pond. It has a vegetable garden where the residents can go out and take care of the garden like they would at home. They were able to plant flowers in the spring and they could go out and take care of them and weed them, just like they would in their backyard or front yard. The courtyard was very nice in the back and the front. It seemed like the residents were very happy there. They have a movie theater, an exercise room, and laundry rooms on each wing. They have very nice spacious rooms. I looked at the more private-type room because that's what I was looking for. It's super nice. They have an activities director, they do craft things and they all looked really cute. I didn't see them making them, but I saw what they had made. They could take them to their rooms and they were very cute. They had just about anything that you would want for your loved one. They were very, very social people. They had private dining if you just wanted to have a birthday party for your loved one. It's a super nice place.

I toured and loved The Landings at Reed Station Crossing. The place was immaculate, very clean, beautiful, and everything was kept in very good shape. Everyone was really, really nice. The person that took me on the tour was really, really nice, and really knowledgeable. The rooms were beautiful, I saw nothing wrong at all. I've tried the food and it was very good. They had hardwood flooring which I love, they're pet-friendly, there's central air conditioning, and their walk-in closets are huge. They have a library, a theater, they have physical therapy on site, people don't want for anything. It's wonderful, it's a really good place.

I had an in-person tour of The Landings at Reed Station Crossing. I like the layout of the apartments. I like the areas where different people could get together and meet. They have some water around the area, and I enjoy that. I think they even do fishing. They had some ponds and lakes, just little ones. It looked like they really cared about the residents. The staff seemed very happy working there and related well to the clients. They have a lounge area, a little coffee area, a movie theater, and a beauty salon. I think they have transportation. There was one thing I didn't like for sure. You could have a microwave, but you cannot have a kitchen stove. My mother had lived in a place where she could have both. I like the muted colors, light colors, and light gray. Even the outside of the building is very attractive. It's very calm.

The Landings at Reed Station Crossing was very clean, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the residents of the facility were very welcoming. Kelsey answered every question; she's the director of marketing. She's incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. We saw a one-bedroom, which was a good size, and easily maneuverable. It would be easy to move around in there. They have a number of activities that my aunt could participate in, like bingo. We toured for about two hours. They have an exercise room, a family room, a theater, and they do a lot of therapy as needed.

I went to The Landings at Reed Station Crossing. They were just very caring. You could tell they were proud of the jobs that they were doing. They introduced us to any staff that we ran across, and you ran across a lot of them there. You saw people in the dining room eating. They go above and beyond to try to meet the needs that you're looking for, for your parents, or for any person that's going to live there. That's probably my first choice when this happens to me. I will be going to The Landings. The staff during the tour was excellent. The food preparation looked wonderful, their meals, and the way they do things. You can order off the menu. You don't have to take the special of the day. It's just so big, and my parents really can't walk long distances. They're on oxygen, so I'm really concerned about that. That's what's holding me off right now, is the lack of having a room close to the area that they're required to eat in. Food is not delivered to the rooms. They want them to come to the dining room. I did not try their food, but everything looked good. We talked to some of the residents sitting around, asking them how they were enjoying their food. They were as friendly as could be. They all said they were enjoying everything, and there were different kinds of food. They had a beautiful cake sitting out there for dessert. It looked really good. They have large bathrooms. They have them with a bathtub or a shower. There's plenty of room to go around. Since I'm doing both parents, you could get two twin beds in a one-bedroom. They have one and two-bedrooms. It's like being in a home. They have a small kitchen and a living room that is a decent size. They have a huge walk-in closet in the bedroom. You bring your own furniture in. They have respite where they charge $135 dollars a day. If I want to drop my parents off for a trial run, it's fully furnished. All I have to do is have them bring their clothes with them. They could move them into an apartment to see how they liked it. I think she said that's up to 90 days. You could keep them in that. That's something I'm looking at, maybe trying to see how they can do. It's a good thing to have to be able to try it out. You also see what your parents need, like if I thought they don't have dementia, so I still think they're assisted living. If I put them in the respite, the nurses and the staff that work there can tell me they need this a little bit more, and that helps me feel more comfortable.

My mother-in-law is at The Landings at Reed Station Crossing. I've only been outside looking at the window, and I have not been inside, but it's a beautiful building. It's very nicely kept and nicely landscaped. There's a lake for the residents to go fishing, and a garden area with raised garden beds. She is in a room that is more of a studio in the memory care section. They do crafts, make cards, and bingo. The assisted living has a pool table, but I'm not sure if the memory care has it too. The staff is cooperative, friendly, very concerned about the residents, and very kind every time that I interact with them. They're pretty much excellent. I had also eaten there before they shut down, and the food was OK.

Our experience with having dad for respite at The Landings at Reed Station Crossing was really nice. They were welcoming. I had him in there so he'd get stronger after getting out of the hospital. I just moved him out because it was self-paying, to save money. Overall, it was a very nice community. His room there was very nice and the food was pretty good, although the portions were pretty small. He was able to get physical therapy twice a week, and Medicare paid for it. It's a good place and I would recommend it to others. The staff members were all great, they were able to help get my dad on his feet. And they saw that he can live independently while having the security blanket of having the emergency button around his neck. So if he were to fall they would be there. I had lunch with him a couple number of times, it wasn't the normal type of cafeteria food, it was a little higher than that, but it was good. They had a variety of activities and were switching managers for that department. The furniture was already there, and they would deliver food to his room when need be.

The Landings at Reed Station Crossing was beautiful. I would love for my grandmother to be able to go there, but she cannot afford it. The person during the tour was very friendly, very nice, and very helpful. The dining area looked like a nice, little restaurant, and they had a menu that they can pick from. They had just finished an activity when we got there, but I was given a list and they had a big board that has the activities. It was very clean, they showed us the rooms, and the residents seemed to really like it there.

The Landings at Reed Station Crossing was lovely and really nice. It's a beautiful new facility. The rooms were big and the amenities were very nice. They had an outside patio, a theater, and a very small exercise room with one bike and three exercise balls. They have a very nice outside area where you can fish, sit out, take a walk, and garden. They would also take you to a gym if you wanted to go, which I liked.

My parents were some of the first residents to move into The Landings. It was the best decision we ever made for their care. There is a nurse on staff 24/7, and that is not something you will find at all assisted living facilities. The CNA'S are outstanding, as well as the housecleaning and dietary, activities and other support staff. My mom often remarks that they are all just one big family and she can't imagine being in any better place. It is comforting for her and peace of mind for the rest of the family.

The Landings at Reed Station Crossing is a beautiful facility. It's a little overpriced, and they don't Medicaid, so that blows it for a lot of people. The rooms are very nice, spacious, and laid out right. The staff is very helpful.
