My friend lives in Heritage Place Independent Living and she is very happy with it. It's warm and it looked nice. Each unit was very small though, but the building was very well kept and well maintained. Everyone was also very nice and very professional, and she says the food is great.

Heritage Place Independent Living is a more upscale place than the other facility. They're a much more expensive place. There's nothing wrong with it, and if we can afford it, that might be where we'd want to be. My friend there does have a big kitchen if she wanted to cook. She has a little dining area, a separate living room, and a separate bedroom. It's a different class of place to live, but the same thing, it's clean, neat, and friendly, and it has a lot of activities. They have activities all the time and a humongous library. They have games and books, of course. The staff members were friendly and helpful. I've not had a problem with anyone being in too big a hurry to talk to me. I know that they must have taken care of my friends very well because they're all happy. People sit around under the shade trees and visit. They talk to you when you walk in just like you're coming to see them. In my estimation, it is a top place to live. The place is beautiful. The landscaping and all are very inviting and out of my friend's window is just beautiful. There are trees and bird feeders hanging from the trees. She can stay inside on cold days and enjoy nature.

I love Heritage Place Independent Living. The lady that showed us around was so sweet and kind. The people there seemed so happy, and they all said they loved it there. The food was very good. I like the apartment. The drawback is my daughter walked in and said it looked like a nursing home. I hadn't gotten that feeling, but that just turned her completely against that. They have apartments but they have kitchenettes because they serve meals in their dining room. They don't have a full kitchen in their apartments. The people that lived there were just so friendly and so welcoming and they wished that we would choose that place. They have a place where you can see movies and an exercise area, and it looked like fun. The food is wonderful. They have a library. The lady that showed us around was wonderful. She was very, very helpful, very sweet, and very kind. I can't say enough good things about her. I love her. It is an older building, but it looks good. There's nothing wrong with it. Everything is well kept. I was just impressed.

My mom used to live at the Heritage Place Senior Living. It was very good. They treated Mom real good. They have thee meals a day and the price was good. They really tried hard. I was always impressed at what they did. There was set of activities and stuff. When COVID came, it made things really difficult. We couldn't go in. Mom had her cancer, so we had to get her out. They let me go in, see her, and get her to the hospital. She had surgery, she was in a rehab facility there, and now she's in another community and doing pretty good. The apartments were real nice. They have like four floors there. It had nice elevators. I think it overall would be a good choice for someone that lives in the South Forth Worth in the Burleson area. They were a real good independent living. Some people could drive and go out every day, doing whatever they wanna do while living life. My mom did at first, but there came a time when she couldn't. The amenities were good. They always had activities, I think they still do, they seemed to always make it really interesting for people who lived in there. They always have bingo, movie night, and popcorn Fridays. They would always send me the calendar every month and it was always full of activities on a daily basis. It was the best, everything was perfect for Mom, and she really liked the people there. It was a Christian community, so she liked that they had church. That was really good. We enjoyed that for mom. She enjoyed it and we got to know the people.

My mother is in Heritage Place. It's a really nice facility, and she tells me that they're very attentive. Everyone treats her very well, but the COVID, it's changed everything. They're pretty isolated, but they've never had COVID in that facility, and they're probably the only one, but their rules are very strict, and it's kind of hard on her. You can make an appointment, set up a tent for her, but it's really just hard. The facility itself is really impressive, the administration is really impressive, and there's just one old lady that works there, I'm assuming it's her age and her fear of what's going on, and she doesn't really follow through, we could've been doing this all along, and she didn't mention it, I think it's because she's just still afraid of anybody coming in there. Otherwise, it's nice, everyone I talked to absolutely loves it; their families are in there. If we weren't in COVID, I think it would be a much better experience. I'm glad I chose that one. They have an actual chef, she's out of isolation, they can walk down and go to the buffet or eat in the formal dining room, it's really impressive, and she said the food is outstanding; it's like being in a restaurant. They have a happy hour.

Heritage Place is beautiful and the rooms are beautiful. They treated me to a very good lunch. The only problem is the price, which is $2,700 a month. You'd have to be one of the elite rich people to live there, unfortunately. The staff member who gave me the tour was awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly, and I really enjoyed her.

Heritage Place Independent was OK. It's a little more expensive than what I'd be able to afford if I needed it. It was nice and there's nothing wrong with it. The rooms were all clean, nice, and had roomy closets. The grounds looked well maintained. They had good activities for people.

Heritage Place was nice. It was clean, and it was roomy, but it just didn’t have the same atmosphere that the other place had. The staff was adequate, but they didn’t go over and beyond. If I was buying something like a house based on the presentation, I would go with the other place. The location of the community was OK. The staff seemed to be available. They did show me the facility, and they were courteous and kind. As far as the inside, it was clean, it was comfortable, people were walking around, and they were very friendly.

I love Heritage Place Independent Living for me. I liked the things that they bring in for the residents to do plus the fact that they do take them out. The food is good. It was a nice place. It had elevators everywhere. The rooms were nice, and it had a little gardening place outside that you could go out and walk and even maybe plant something which I like. It was clean and new.

Beautiful facility, very friendly, and the Care staff are exceptional and so attentive. This facility seems to always be understaffed, everyone there is worked to death. The main problem we have encountered is the food. The food is sometimes inedible, the menus don't seem to be planned with seniors. One evening they served everyone pizza and corn. They put huge chunks of broccoli on the plate. Not very easy for a senior to eat. They are understaffed with servers but the ones they have are great. I have complained but nothing changed.

Friend or relative, Summer 2015, A/C went out during 100 degree's Took day's to fix, then a couple day's later, broke again. Took few day's to fix. Cold shower's through out building-all 4 flour's, started in early Nov 2015, Still not fixed. Management won't renter's use appartment's that are empty and have hot water to take shower's. They don't/won't call plummer's and A/C people out to fix problem's on weekend's. The building is old, look's great outside, but , it's apparent they wait until something quit's working before attempting to think about calling someone. They just raised the rent $98.00 per month, even with all the problem's. They could/should give those renter's having problem's, $1000.00 off the rent every month until Everything is Fixed, not patched. With all these problem's, they keep showing people the working appt's. The hallway's have a funny smell, not a nursing home smell, but distinct smell. Need to freshion up the place, get rid of the awlfull green carpet. The people living here are in the 70's,80's, a few in the 60's. A lot of renter's have moved out,due to A/c - no Hot water problem cropped up. Also the elevator's are Very Slow, also have a smell. Supper time is bad, not much to choose from of the menu, only one choice of meat. The most of the food staff don't smile. They charge $1000.00 , just to move in. If you want to move to another apartment, It's another $1000.00 THEY need full time maintinace crew on all hour's. Not contract. Complain about no hot water on a Thursday, you will be told, A man(one) coming out Monday. How does management sleep..... How come Corp. is not keeping up with what is going on, at each Indepent Appt's and Asst'd Living place's. Keep on driving by this place in Burleson, Tx, don't stop.. If you have Love one there now, move them somewhere new, and with magement with Christian value's.

While the outward appearance of this facility seems quite inviting there are definite problems which need to be addressed to bring it up to par. The food is fair, at best, and there seems to be a problem keeping kitchen staff capable of producing decent meals. A bigger problem is the lack of consistent hot water in many of the rooms. Most of the time there is no hot water at all, occasionally there is warm water, and on a few rare occasions it might be hot. Taking showers in cold/tepid water and washing dishes in cold water is not acceptable. Attempts to correct the situation have not resolved the problem, and efforts are made only after persistent requests to the front desk. The residents in these rooms should be moved to rooms where hot water is available and the problem rooms should not be rented until this issue can be resolved. This summer the air conditioning system went out and many rooms were without any air conditioning during 100-degree weather. These rooms reached temperatures as high as 95 degrees. Luckily the problem was resolved in a couple of days but it was shocking to me that there was no attempt to move the affected residents to hotels or motels. Those who had vehicles or family close by were able to escape these conditions but those who didn't have those outlets were left to languish in their rooms that were at dangerously high temperatures. This is an older facility. It is attractive and inviting from the outside but the owners do not seem inclined to update rooms or correct maintenance problems that come with an older building. The bright spot is the Universal Home Health Care which is not affiliated with Sagora or Heritage Place but provides services to the residents at an additional cost. They are attentive and helpful and the only reason my family member stays at this facility. I would caution family members to thoroughly check the rooms, the water and the meals before making a decision on this facility. Take the time to eat in the cafeteria (without an appointment), check for hot water at several different times of the day and visit with residents about their likes and dislikes.

My parents are in a facility. They are at Heritage Place. I like that they have lots of activities. With regards to food and their dining facility, it is all very nice and very good. The staff is great and very helpful. Everything is very good. Overall, they're just very easy to deal with, and they have been very helpful in many aspects as far as my parents' care goes.

We were given a tour of Heritage Place. I liked everything I saw. It's a very large and nice looking place. It's very beautiful, well decorated, and they keep it very clean. It is very attractive. But I wouldn't consider living there. My main reason would be it's too far from my home.

My dad is currently a resident of Heritage Place. He said that the food has really deteriorated lately, and everyone is talking about it. It is nothing like it was a year ago, and hopefully they will improve this situation. They have lost some staff in the kitchen, and they evidently haven't been replaced, either. Other than that, he is satisfied with everything else at the Heritage Place.

My mother has been a resident two years. While the facility is older it is comfortable and fairly well maintained. There are two major issues lately. Since getting new management the meals have deteriorated considerably. Much of the food us poorly prepared, overlooked, unappetizing and lacks variety. In a place like this meals are paramount to a pleasant living experience. As it now stands, the meals are pretty much undeniable which makes rent very high for the value received. Another big issue has been the lack of hot water. It takes 15 minutes of running the water until it gets lukewarm. Sometimes it never gets warm. Taking cold showers, washing dished in cold water - not good. I keep getting word from maintenance snd management they are waiting for a part o resolve the problem. It has been over two months and still no fix!

Every time we visited her, the grounds and building were well-kept. I never had a sense of that "old folk's home" smell that some places can't seem to avoid. It had the feel of an apartment complex rather than a retirement center. The people staying there seemed generally content and I never found anyone just randomly roaming the halls, as I've experienced in my child-hood while visiting older relatives. There were also plenty of meeting rooms and other large spaces to be used for family gatherings, like birthdays. This created an intimate setting, without everyone having to crowd into her apartment, as we are a large family. I never had a negative encounter with Heritage Place. The staff were always friendly and helpful as well. I never ate there, nor did I handle of the business affairs, so I can't speak from any viewpoint, other than a satisfied visitor.

Assisted Living. Very spacious for what it is. Very clean and lots of windows. The apartment we visited was 2 bedroom, 2 bath; open living/dining with small kitchen bar. Plenty of elevators, common areas well furnished, and small rooms available for classes, etc .Food was great and all personnel cheerful and helpful. Especially, the personnel was respectful and friendly.

Heritage Place Retirement Community, located in Burleson,TX is also for assisted living arrangements with various levels of care. The building is located in a complex with other facilities including a hospital and a nursing care center. Heritage Place is a 4-story building with 35 + rooms on each floor. They have a nice, large multi-purpose room with couches and chairs for group singing and other activities. They house a large dining room with three good meals each day if one so desires rather than preparing a meal in their own room. They do not take Medicaid. It is private pay, only.
