I would give zero stars if possible. The owners of Winslow Manor increase the rent by 5% each year - while most residents are on social security. The building is old and badly built and one can hear everything in neighboring apartments. There is absolutely no soundproofing. The food (Mon - Fri) is absolutely awful. Sandwiches every Tuesday and then pasta, pork and chicken on other days and green and fresh vegetables are never served. Fish may be served once every two months if lucky. Dinner is also served at 5pm which is much too early. The finishes inside the apartments are cheap, and the maintenance horrible. Response is non-existent. Security consists of a locked front door with a buzzer but it is often propped open and anyone is let in. One needs to use a series of stairs to go down to the front entrance. There is a ramp in the rear of the building. I would not recommend this building. Much to expensive for what you get.

Thr management of this facities is horrible they are iinconsiderate of their elderly disabled residents They raise their rent annually by %5. rent has increase to nearly double in the past six years and is now a whopping 1420.00 a month. All residents are on Social security and moslty all are in their 80's and 90's they can no longer affoerd to live here and get nothing for their money but grief . the food they say is included is horrible and not appropriate food for most residents high in sodum sugar and fat mostly junk food. Their maintenance is either lazy or inexperienced and it is impossible yo get repair done or have a complaint heard. Wonderful residents but management needs to be changed and investigated. something just isn't right here

This building is the "independent living" funnel leading to "assisted living" buildings. Residents are continually frustrated in their requests to have repairs made, problems corrected, or responses to communications. Dinner is served five weeknights unless there is an excuse not to serve. Menu is inappropriate for seniors, and nutritionally unsound. Food is badly prepared. Marketing person (there is no trained manager) talks about her world-class chef. He is a maintenance man. Investors in this company clearly want high profits.
