More About This Caregiver:

When I asked Nicole the reason she started caregiving her response was one I have rarely heard. Her reason for becoming a nursing assistant stemmed from a positive experience that she had as a teenager. At the age of 14 she had to have surgery and she received such excellent post-surgery care by the nurse that the experience made her want to help others and show them the same kind of care and compassion that she was shown. I believe that if this nurse had any idea how she inspired Nicole she would be truly touched; I know that I certainly would!
