Inspiration for this Nomination:

She jumps in whenever needed. Clients say how amazing she is. She has a way with clients to get them to do what they need to do in her care. The family of one particular client, in a Memory Care Unit of an Assisted Living facility, told us how Beth had a way about her that was immediately calming and comforting. When families are utilizing Home Care it's a very stressful time. It helps these families to know that the Caregiver is only concerned with the well-being and safety of the client. This is the feedback from every one of Beth's client's and family members of those clients. Beth is one of many of our Caregivers that will take personal time to attend calling hours and the funeral of a client we have lost. She is not required to do those things but that is why she is such a wonderful person, Caregiver and employee.

Caregiver's Best Skills and Attributes:

Her ability to redirect clients. She has a calming aura about her and she can convince our clients to do things they may not like to do but are necessary for their care. She was obviously born to do this work. She is constantly in communication with our main office to advocate for her clients. If there is any change to report in the care of a client you can be sure the office will be notified and the family members will be too. And, she is always willing to adjust her personal life to come to the aid of a client in need.

Feedback About This Caregiver:

Every client who is lucky enough to have Beth is nothing but grateful. Beth goes above and beyond each and every day to make sure her clients are safe and well taken care of. She treats everyone like she would treat her own family. We have never had a complaint about her performance and always here great stories from clients on how dependable and caring Beth is.

More About This Caregiver:

Her care notes for each client are precise, detailed and we can actually read them! We use them in our Caregiver training because of the detail and tone of the notes. Redirecting is another area where Beth has been able to pass along helpful tips to other Caregivers. It's a skill that seems to come natural to Beth.

She works very hard and it would be nice to recognize her in a community outside of Home Helpers. We can praise her, thank her, give her great reviews all day long. When the praise comes from outside our small community I think it is a little more meaningful for the Caregiver. We will always know how great Beth is to our organization and how important these Caregivers are to our client's and their families. It would be such a treat for a truly special person to be recognized by Caring.com.
