I contacted Right At Home to find a caregiver for my Dad, who has Alzheimer's Disease. He and my Mom live with us and both Mom and I were experiencing caregiver burnout. I had tried to get help through other agencies but to no avail. I contacted Right At Home and they were so helpful! Dad's Case Manager, Lori, visited our house, was very supportive and reassuring to my mother, easing her worries and worked hard to find the best fit for a caregiver. Our caregiver is wonderful, always on time and she understands Dad's disease and is very patient with him. Having her with Dad two days a week, has helped Mom and I be able to regain the enjoyment our mother/daughter relationship! I highly recommend the whole team at Right At Home.

I have used Right at Home from time to time to care for my Aunt when she would have issues that resulted in her need to be hospitalized. Right at Home staff helped transition her back to her Independent Living arrangement. Most recently my Aunt had a minor stroke and had to move to Assisted Living. I called Right at Home as she was going to need additional care both in the mornings and in the evenings. They were so responsive and immediately sent Nurse Lori to assess her and create a care plan. The staff that they have sent to provide care have been the best I have ever encountered. Warm, caring, professional, on time and they all clearly have a passion for this work. When I needed certain medical equipment and couldn’t find it, they ordered it for me and had their staff deliver and set it up. This is an agency that clearly nurtures their staff and clients with such care. I would highly recommend them and can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of my Aunt.

Can't thank everyone enough at Right at Home for the care that had been provided to my aunt over the last several years! Recently her condition declined and required 24/7 care. Right at Home quickly and efficiently filled the shifts with caregivers that were just totally amazing in the way they cared for her! They did that splendidly with her first caregiver, Susan. Over time mum needed 24/7 care and Right At Home always responded to our requests very promptly when needing to change mum's complicated schedule. They were also very kind and compassionate and understood that this was a very stressful and emotional time for our family. The caregivers showed up on time, left comprehensive notes on any occurrences during their shift, and our family found them to be very pleasant to have in our mother's home. As a family we spent a lot of time with our mother and so the Right At Home caregiver was there with us so we got to know them. We felt mum was safe and in good care. I would recommend Right at Home to anyone who is looking for short or long term private care for their loved one.

We are working with Right at Home for about a month now. It is good, the caregivers seem nice and they are there when I need them. They ask me what I need and they come. They want four hours, six hours or eight hours. They prefer to do eight because my parents live in Paxton. My parents are only five minutes outside of Worcester, so it is really not that far, but that's what they want. Well, we chose them because they're the only one who contacted us.

Each of the caretakers need to be consistent. There's one that's fantastic, and the other ones have been average. They wait for him to do something. He's not the type to tell you what to do, so they have to be proactive. I would like to see more consistency with the caregivers.

They need more training. Most of them know something about taking care of a home, but they need to concentrate more on how to relate more effectively to the customer. They should be able to look around to see what they can do. They need to pay more attention to what their customers want instead of simply choosing someone and sending them out.

Right at Home provided home care for my wife for several months. The caregivers assigned were great. My wife looked forward to them coming and I was able to get away to perform essential errands. The care extended into the nursing home when my wife was no longer able to stay at home and continued until her death. My mom went into Hospice care in March of 2018. She had lived with me for 8 years. I needed help. Right at Home sent exceptionally qualified and caring staff. My mom had a unique personality. They worked with me to find the right care givers for my mom. I was able to return to work knowing my mom was in the best of hands during the day. I could always count on them being there. They maintained my mom's quality of life and supported me. She passed in September and I can honestly say that I could not have survived the last six months without this team's support. She was bed bound and her skin was perfect due to the care she received. Truly caring caregivers that became part of an "extended family". They help maintain my mom's dignity as her body failed her. Her mind was intact and they kept her engaged. When I would get home she would tell me that she had a great day. I would highly recommend this team. The nurses, office and aides were all exceptional and I consider myself blessed to have found the right people/company.

My mother, who lives 450 miles away from me, has needed assistance in her home for several years. Although my dad tried valiantly to tend to her, the part-time caregivers that Right @ Home provided were a great help to both of them. While they surely helped with tasks that I am not aware of and would have done other jobs as well, I know that they helped to bathe and change my mom, cleaned up around the living area, changed sheets, and did laundry. Sometimes, they drove my parents to church. Most of all , they provided company and care for a woman to had done that for others all her life. The women who supervised and arranged care were always willing to discuss issues with me and showed endless patience with me and my parents. Right at Home was recommended to me for an immediate, emergency need for 24/7 care for my dad (who lives alone in an assisted living). He'd had some bad side effects to a medication and was suffering with severe confusion and unsteadiness. He needed someone to stay with him to prevent him from leaving and trying to walk back to the house where he used to live, before my mom passed away. (35 miles away!) He attempted to go back to his former home and was walking along a busy state road with no sidewalks I called Right at Home and they were able to assign an aid within a couple of hours. All the aids I met, while visiting my dad, were friendly, kind, professional and knowledgable. They were all punctual, and provided peace of mind for me and my family when we couldn't be with dad. When Dad's condition started to improve, they were very responsive to my request for reducing and tailoring his care. Right at Home worked with me to assess my needs and schedule appropriately. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for home care for a family member who might need it.

My Mom needed overnight constant care (fall risk) for a period of time, and Right at Home Westborough was recommended to me. She is in a memory care unit at a senior living facility, which could not provide that 8 hour "constant" care. Through the entire process (telephone calls, meeting with the company's representative to set up a schedule & making sure my mother's particular needs would be taken care of, to meeting the aid, getting daily feedback), I can honestly say the experience with this company and everyone involved that I dealt with, was a very positive one. I would not hesitate to call them again if their services were needed. My Dad is also an "independent" resident at the senior living facility, and was able to "check-in" to make sure things were going the way we needed them to, and it was all positive as far as he was concerned. The two aids that were assigned to my Mom could not have been more pleasant and efficient.

We needed someone to stay with Mom during the day so I could go back to work, to help her with daily activities, meals, exercises (and the dog). We had two different caregivers and they were both great - came on time, took good care of Mom, helped with everything we needed. My dad recently succumbed to a terrible neurological disease that robbed him of his mobility, dexterity and ultimately most of his ability to communicate. Through the sad progression, the Right at Home staff was always there to see that his needs were met. As adjustments were needed in the nearly two years of care, from day care to 24 hour non-live in, the management team was very accommodating with in home meetings and quick responses to email questions. Though they were great in understanding the evolving needs, our family is particularly appreciative of the on-site caregivers. They always acted professionally and compassionately. Knowing that my dad was being cared for in such way was very comforting.

I was referred to Right at Home by a relative who was satisfied with the services that they received for their parent. My sister made the initial contact with Shelby and was immediately impressed. We were looking at taking my mother home with 24 hour care and hospice services, so we were emotionally fragile and wanting an easy process. Right at Home fit the bill. Shelby and her staff worked with us and to determine the best options to provide consistent care for our mother. In speaking with Shelby, the company prides themselves in determining who is the best care provider match after completing an interview with the person or family. For our mom, they chose Raquel and none of us could have picked a better match. She was caring and kind and ever so patient with our mother and all of us while we wanted the best care for our mom and were struggling with the inevitable. Toward the end of our mother's life, Raquel talked to our mother, read her the Bible and contacted all of us to be there at the bedside. She was an angel for sure. The reason for a 4 star vs 5 star rating is the reimbursement at the end. Although we did end up receiving the appropriate monies returned, we were sent 3 bills, 2 after I spoke with the billing person requesting a refund on the initial deposit placed. (Billing for the services rendered did not ad up to more than the initial 2 week deposit.) That being said, all in all, Right at Home and their staff made a very difficult time a bit easier.

As my mother-in-law progressed through her Alzheimer's, we realized we could no longer leave her alone in the house for long periods of time while we were at work. I found Right At Home when I searched for in-home caregivers for her. Once we had chosen Right At Home, they matched up my MIL with a wonderful woman who came in 3 days a week, 3 hours a day, to keep my MIL company, make her lunch, and make sure she was safe. After several months, we increased her hours and the number of days to 6 hrs/day, 4 days/week. My MIL became very good friends with her caretaker, Liz, and would often tell us stories of what they "did together". We recently made the decision to move my MIL into an assisted living memory care facility, which was very emotional. However, we are so grateful that we were able to have her stay at home with us for as long as she did; we could not have gone this far without Right At Home and their wonderful care and attention to my mother-in-law. Having Liz with her each day really took the worry off our minds and we noticed that my MIL was happy each day which must have been because she had company and was feeling comfortable. Right At Home was also great at communicating scheduling issues or questions, and was able to be flexible when we needed them to be. I would recommend Right At Home services to any of my friends and family who need similar care for a loved one. They were wonderful.

My local Right at Home office in Westboro, MA does a really good job and has many options for at home care. My family started off by using their service once a week, then moved to 3 days a week, then 5 days, and now have 24/7 caregivers. It's enabled my father to continue living safely at home.

Lilliana was awesome! My mother is Italian born and since her stroke she is most easily understood when speaking Italian. Lilliana was fluent in Italian and was very attentive to my mothers every needs when we took her out of the Nursing home.

Although we only used them for a short time, the experience was wonderful. Right At Home has been part of our family since 2009. They began assisting my father as he recovered from a long rehabilitation. They were able to flow with his often cranky periods. They helped us with my step-mother's onset of Parkinson's and her death. This even included a period when they provided them 24 hour care. Now my father is 92 and needs their help to maintain the apartment, do errands, monitor medication, assist with bedtime and provide him companionship. I appreciate their love and flexibility. Gail H. and staff have been able to immediately adjust to his changing conditions whenever I called them. I live 3 hours away from him and could not have managed without them. I know he is in good hands. They are my eyes to his health needs and my hands to his care. You cannot find a better organization to care for your loved one.

The personnel from this service, specifically those based out of Westboro, were outstanding. I recommend that office without reservation. Personnel from other offices, however, were less than acceptable.

My 94 year old mother recently started getting assistance from Right at Home. She was extreamly reluctant at first, but once she met her caregivers, she was fully on board. They made her feel very comfortable at bathtime, dressing etc. She now thinks of them as extended family and raves about them. It gives me such piece of mind knowing that she is well looked after and happy since I live out of state. She loves the fact that they make her breakfast, curl her hair and help her with anything she needs. I am so happy we found Right At Home.

I called Right at Home when my mother was coming to stay with us during a relocation time and I unexpectedly needed surgery. My mother is elderly and has memory issues. Gail met with me to discuss my mother's needs and what we'd like to have occur with a caregiver. Our caregiver was so kind and nice to my mother. She did everything I asked and even more. She also visited my mother in her new setting when we went on vacation several months later. I found both Gail and our caregiver Linda to be courteous, professional, compassionate, and sensible. I felt the prices were reasonable and that they worked to accommodate our schedule. I have recommended Right at Home to several friends!

From my first call, RAH were very caring and helpful. They answered emails quickly and always were reachable and at hand whenever I had a question. Their caregivers were topnotch. I would recommend their services highly.
