I am a current client of this provider

My dad is in the advanced stages of Parkinson's disease and mom has Macular degeneration. Dad's condition has found him mostly unable to care for himself or to get himself around. We've all (including Dad) been concerned about Mom's ability to care for him in a safe and secure manner for them both. We interviewed several at home care givers, selected Right at Home and couldn't be happier that we have chosen them for helping mom and dad. Not only have they taken care of Dad by bathing him, helping him with his bodily functions and whatnot, but they've also relieved mom of a tremendous amount of physical labor which she did not need to attempt. In addition, the family has learned a tremendous amount from each of the care givers about how to get him motivated to help himself, how we can safely aid him in moving about and what type of care he needs. In short, they've not only helped to take care of dad but they've taught the family about how best to help him ourselves. They've been wonderful. The staff/care givers are considerate, gentle and most importantly provide care in a DIGNIFIED manner which our parents deserve. I'd highly recommend them!

We have been clients of Right at Home Winston-Salem as needed from 2009-present. We are grateful beyond measure for the work of this wonderful group of people. Jackie Brewer, Assistant Director, has exceptional skills at working with clients. She is wise, knowledgeable, compassionate, and always has a host of ideas and solutions for whatever problem we need help with. The office staff are always helpful and they respond courteously to whatever questions or changes we may have. The caregivers are exceptional with many real-world angels in the mix. We are happy to give them a top review.

We currently use this provider but will be transferring to another agency. Our mom has Alzheimers and diabetes. We needed a caregiver for cleaning, safety, meds, and healthy meals. Cleaning was a joke... gross is the better word. Safety -- Mom broke a glass candle. The caregiver left it until we came over (1 week later). Healthy diabetic meals -- didn't happen. The caregiver was feeding her sandwiches for every evening meal. On our last visit with Mom her glucose was over 300... they are very nice but we are paying $17.50 an hour for this caregiver to come into Mom's home and sit on her bottom watching tv. The icing on the cake was tonight when the caregiver called her agency less than an hour before she was supposed to be at Mom's house and called in sick... now Mom has no one there with her during the evening which is when an alzheimers patient needs a caregiver most... smh would not recommend this agency

Right at Home professional caregivers help my family stay at home and be safe and comfortable. We highly recommend Right at Home in Greensboro or the Triad as this is our second time using in home care and assistance from them. Mom and Dad have had surgeries and rehabilitation issues, and Right at Home care providers helped us everytime they came home or needed in home care. They are professional and legitimate, unlike some of the other agencies we interviewed. At one point, they provided 24 hour care and never charged different rates for 3 to 11 or 11 to 7 shifts. If you need in home care and assistance, these people really do a great job--always !!
