There were two caregivers that I liked but they couldn't continue care. The caregivers would help me bathe the client, but it seems like they do not try their best and do not enjoy their work. There have been good caregivers who like the jobs and other caregivers sit and do not do the job. When I spoke with the person in charge of hiring, I told them that some caregiver did not have initiative.

Personal Home Care, she helped around the house with light housekeeping. But "light" housekeeping is a misnomer. She even put new license plates on my car. She was highly motivated. She was on time. She was a pleasant personality and needed little to no direction. She was a "breath of fresh air" compared to all of the others I have used. The agency was very responsive to my requests . She was a fill-in for my caregiver and I'm going to ask if can be a permanent replacement.

We are using Right at Home. We love the service that they’re providing. The lady that comes out is very nice and very good. She helps in housekeeping, meal preparation, washing clothes, and getting my dad back and forth to doctors' appointments. Sometimes, we have trouble finding enough things to keep her busy. Part of the service is also for friendship and companionship, so it’s OK to sit and visit with us. Sometimes, she feels like she has to be working or she’s not doing what she’s supposed to do, but it’s working out really well.

You don't find people like this everyday. Jon and his staff have been nothing but professional and completely understanding with my wife and me as we work through her very difficult illness. We have had a number of people assigned to work for us to help around the house and to help my wife. All have been more than willing, capable and responsive. Connie was absolutely wonderful in finding appropriate staff to care for my brother Carl. Connie seems to have an innate ability to match the right caregivers with patients. The women and one young man who cared for my brother were all about providing great service, keeping my brother's depression at bay while truly caring about him. Our experience with Right at Home has been a positive one. They strive to find a "right" personality fit for our situation and personalities. The staff person learns our home routine quickly and efficiently. They do not try to reorganize or rearrange but to just fit "right" in. They offer to do additional tasks if they have spare time but always keep the care and comfort first. The only time we had a staff problem, it was fixed immediately, no questions asked, just as they promised in the initial interview. We have been with Right at Home 2 years now. They are friendly, professional and caring.
