To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to highly recommend "Caring for People Services", and commend them for the care of my 94 year old mother. I was fortunate to learn about them while I was visiting her in Arizona. I was looking for someone to assist her as I live in Massachusetts and though willing to orchestrate her daily life from afar, was finding it increasingly difficult to meet all of her needs. She had no other family closer than 1500 miles. They were God sent.
For more than two years one of their staff, came daily to make her lunch and dinner, clean her home, make her MD appointments, accompany her to those appointments, provided transportation for other errands, picked up her prescriptions, poured her medications, monitored her intake and output, supervised her showers, assessed her safety when ambulating, taught her to use her new C-PAP machine and TENS unit, bought her weekly groceries , changed her sheets and washed her clothes weekly, cared for her plants , and did just about anything else that needed doing. Most importantly, they made her feel special. They made her laugh, and feel loved and cared for. She thought the staff was warm, wonderful, genuinely kind and sincere people and I thought so too.
My mother and I could not have been more fortunate than the day we found this service and signed their contract. When Mom fell they accompanied her to the ER on more than one occasion, visited her in the hospital, and truly did what a caring family member would do. I was immediately informed about any change in my Mom's mental or physical status or about any concerns they had.
When Mom's status suddenly changed and I was on my way to Airizona, they were at the hospital providing support, holding her hand and singing her favorite hymns. Even though my beloved mother passed away a year ago, I recently received a card providing comfort and support.
The staff were very special people and I would highly recommend them to any family without reservation.
