Vitalis Healthcare is a residential healthcare services agency (RSA) licensed and certified by the state of Maryland. We provide a variety of residential health care services, collaborating with a client’s physician or case manager to develop a plan of care for you that exceeds your expectations. Our residential health care services allow our customers and clients to receive reliable, compassionate care from well trained and dedicated care-givers in the comfort of their home, with a goal to help improve well-being for the client.
Here are a few reasons our clients have chosen Vitalis Healthcare services as their choice to provide in-home care for their loved ones:
All our caregivers are supervised by a very experienced registered nursing team lead by our Director of Nursing. Our DON is an experienced nurse with a decade experience working in leading hospitals in our area such as Prince George’s County Hospital, National Institute of Health and George Washington Hospital.
We manage your care with a home-care management solution that allows you to track real time the tasks and activities to be performed by caregivers in each shift. Since we know people do not do what you expect but what you inspect, this ensures measurable, consistent and reliable care is provided to your loved one. The solution also allows you to provide real time quality assurance and feedback of the care your loved one is receiving.
All our caregivers and everyone involved in the care team receive customized online-training offered by a leading professional care educational institute. For example if your loved one has diabetes or short-term memory losses, our caregivers would be required complete a refresher training program on the special needs of the person with diabetes or memory loss, before they begin to provide care. This is in addition to the professional certification and ongoing skill-development they receive as part of their ongoing continuing education.
Also because we believe caregiving is a collaboration with family members, we offer family members the same customized training programs we give our care teams and as well as other resources in our e-library. This enables family members better better navigate the somewhat confusing and complex world of aging and elder care. It also enables them inform themselves of what are best practices and what to expect from caregivers who are providing care for their loved ones.
Finally we assign a case manager to work with you on a regular basis to make sure that all the many parts of providing care for your loved one is taken care of and nothing falls through the cracks. The case manager is involved in every aspect of care delivery from intake, planning of care, scheduling of care-givers and ongoing management of care. Your case manager is on your beck and call 24 x 7.
At Vitalis, our focus is on putting together a strong, well-trained care team that can give reliable, compassionate care that delivers measurable well-being for your loved ones.
