    Maybe had taken more initiative with the patient by just checking on him. The only thing was that I gave instructions on what to do, but they didn't do anything above that. They needed to take it upon themselves to do more.

    The agency would bill me in the middle of the month instead of at the end of the month. But he did not do a job. The young man did not know what he needed to do and kept asking me what he needed to do.

    The initial nurse that came in did a great job. The additional nurses did too. There wasn't a lot that they could do because of the short time period of the care. It was a bit of a whirlwind when we were getting his bed set up. He was a little belligerent at first, but he calmed down after they gave him medicine. I think it eased his pain. I think they were here for such a brief period since he passed quickly after we brought him home, but they were very responsive when trying to set everything up.

    Need to change the policy that they have. They don't do what they are supposed to do. I don't need a babysitter, I need someone to help me on what I need. I don't like their scheduling policy, they have to stay around for 4 hours.

    They were there and they did provide the care that we needed. When we didn't know what to do to help Carol, they were so willing to help us out and come out to see what was going on. I don't know what they could have done to improve. I appreciated that they were very responsive to our needs.

    If my person can't come, they have someone that can. They can make sure the caregivers are willing to do things to help. They could work on calling back to let me know if someone is coming.

    Our caregiver is decent, but when she doesn't come it goes wrong. I wouldn't recommend them, there's been 58 no calls no shows in a year.

    They have helped the most because she only comes in 3 hours a week, but she cleans, keeps dad company, watches shows with him, and talks with him. She gives him more life and fun. I like that our CNA that comes out is amazing, and it's been a seamless process.

    They only come once a week. This caregiver won't be coming back for at least 10 days. So far, I am satisfied with the care that the caregiver is providing me. I only see the caregiver once a week. The questions are too early. Processing the claims and everything. I'm having issues.

    One of the caregivers that they sent out was incapable of helping Gay move around. I tried a different company first, and that company was having a difficult time getting caregivers to come in. Care Advantage always seemed to have good people.

    It was a positive experience by working at her level and not making her do too much. They did the same exercise every time that they came, and it could have been a little bit longer.

    I would like them to keep sending people out to make my life easier. When my husband got COVID they did not send anyone to help him at all.

    They could have more of an online presence and have someone to take your calls. Their service is a little bit lacking. It is hard to get ahold of someone.

    They need to screen the care providers. The agency could have improved by having care providers being clinically trained, not "book trained". The caregiver didn't have hands-on experience.

    I didn't have them for long but they put me to bed, made sure I had my meals, helped me in the shower, and did other usual everyday things for me. I was satisfied with them in the time I had them, as the caregivers were good at their work, so I'd recommend them for those caregivers.

    They could do better at taking initiative and looking ahead at what needs to be done. We have had people who didn't give them a bath in the time they were here, which was the only thing we requested. The main problem we have had is with the scheduling, as people won't always show up when they were supposed to or show up when we cancelled, so there seems to be miscommunication there.

    They are helping him get back to his pre-surgery state by providing all his ADLs and aiding with mobility. He has his own helpers, but we needed additional care, so we hired them to provide that, and thanks to all their help, we have even been able to cut back on caregivers. They have been real good to work with, as I am the nurse coordinator responsible for my client and have used them my entire career. They are very thorough on scheduling and following through on everything, so I've had no issues with them.

    They do what my mother lets them do. The company writes down what we need them to do, and they send that with them, but sometimes we have to tell them what to do. I have not had any services for a week, and they did not call me to let me know what was going on. They started off better.

    The client fell a bunch and so she needed to transfer somewhere else as she was getting neglected at the facility. There was confusion with the scheduling on the weekends. All the caregivers were excellent with Care Advantage it was just that the client didn't have consistent care.

    I wasn't even conscious for most of it because it was post surgery. I had a delivery coming and the caregiver did everything that needed to be done for it. They could have confirmed everything with me as the date I needed them got closer to give me peace of mind.

    It was good when they came. They did well and we liked the people. We never knew when they were going to be here. We had days when no one showed up and days where we were not expecting anyone and someone new showed up. We had a hard time communicating with the office and the people.

    They help the most with moving him from chair to wheelchair. They cold actually provide nurses. I have not been able to get nurses on Sunday mornings and I had to find my own nurses for some of the mornings. They just can't seem to find nurses and it is very hit or miss whether I have an aide coming in or not.

    They changed his position every two hours and gave him short baths. Some of them would do their homework or be on the phone with their friends, so I would say we had some ups and downs. We had some nice people, and some of them were average. Some that came didn't do anything, so we talked to the manager. They explained that they were short on people, and we understood that.

    I had just come out of a nursing home, and I was trying to get better. A couple of caregivers that I liked did very well, listened to me, and were very helpful. I'm not very keen on being sick, and I wasn't good at dealing with strangers. For a while, I was getting one caregiver that I was okay with, but then I had a couple of different people. I didn't like a lot of strangers around me.

    I just felt that they had a lack of interest in doing work. They did not talk to him and do much with nursing. They just did not seem to have a lot to do for my loved one, but even with that, they were not doing anything. I had to help with my relative.

    They are decent. They do a good job. What they do is give my wife some slack at times, and they give her a chance to get out of the house. They could communicate better. Sometimes I do not get aides on time or at all, so I would like to get advanced notice about aides not being here.

    They need to send CNAs that do all the work on the list that they gave us. The corporate office needs to focus on the instructions that their clients talk to them about. They need to send out CNAs who know how to manage disabled clients who can't walk.

    It was helpful to have a caregiver come in once a week to check up on my aunt. She enjoyed the services, and she felt that everyone was very nice to her. They did what was asked of them. One of the caregivers was outstanding, but another one fell asleep at night, so my aunt had to get up on her own.

    I would have like better communication and more consistency in the caregivers. A lot of the caregivers didn't even drive, and that was one thing that I need. I had a hard time getting them to get me one or two caregivers during the week, rather than a new caregiver everyday.

    The physical therapy is helping me get stronger. They're helping my wound get better. They need to let me know when they're coming before the morning they're coming. It's ridiculous because I have doctor appointments and other things that are arranged ahead of time.

    I think that if the scheduler had called me back, that would have been good. Care Advantage had somebody doing the scheduling and the first two visits were with a wonderful caregiver. She had the opportunity to go and get more hours, so she wasn't available, so the scheduler called me letting me know that she would wait for the PT schedule, and she did not do that. She arranged two odd visits that conflicted with my schedule.

    She gets me out of the house because I cannot drive. I have not driven for 10 years. I have autonomic system disorder. I will pass out when i'm sitting, standing, or walking. My caregiver gets my medicines for me. She takes me to get my hair done. She has given me my life back. I used to work for them back in the 80's. They are very good with patients and their families. They try to match the nurses with the patients so it will work out.

    I am afraid now to have someone like her. I am in fear that if I fall asleep when my sugar or blood pressure is high, they won't do anything. They need better with communication and provide better care for me. The aide just watched me almost go into a diabetic coma.

    The nurse we had was good. I just needed someone on the weekend. I would like them to have more staff to come in. They didn't have anybody on the weekends.

    They should spend some more time listening to my parents and talking with them. They should be compassionate. The gentleman sales guy was great and came on short notice. We requested to have 24 hour care and to have the best person during the day. The people we have a night are outstanding, but our day person does not have a good attitude. They did not find the best person for the day. Instead, they texted out to find the most available person. A person had to cancel due to a death in the family and we had to find a replacement. Most of the people they send us are qualified.

    They are very helpful with what I need, and they helped me relocate my belongings from upstairs to downstairs. They set my mother up downstairs, and they have been remarkable.     It's tricky because we had four people that we really liked, but when we had to find someone else, those caregivers did not know what to do. They did not respond to certain issues we had, and sometimes the communication did not exist and they did not replace a caregiver when we needed it.

    During the day we have a caregiver that comes in and does well. We have someone at night that does well, too, but we have a problem with filling the gaps. They do good as far as the daily needs. Sometimes they go above and beyond, which is very helpful. The care itself makes life easier. They have made a lot of improvements. One of those improvements is with the scheduling. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, and sometimes I just don't get anyone. I feel like they get the back end of the deal.

    I like the feedback I get, they let me know what happens, and when they are going to go. It is very helpful. They are reliable and do what they say they are going to do.

    Outside of the inconsistency, I didn't feel like I was being heard on a customer service level. The lady who I called to get help, made me feel like I was annoying her and being a bother. It wasn't great. I wouldn't use them again.

    When I left and came back home, it looked like they took good care of my loved one. They are nice. They just sit there with my loved one and feed him. They change him if needed.

    Care advantage has exceeded my expectations on every occasion in both efficiency and professionalism. Following a car accident, my brother needed someone to accompany him to multiple doctor appoints take notes and communicate back to his care facility. Because I live in the Midwest and he is in virginia ACC arrangements were by phone and email. Both the office support staff and the companion were outstanding. I never had to worry about not having a family member accompany him or miss important information. I would highly recommend this mechanicsville VA advantage care to anyone need ring this type of healthcare support.

    We have been with Care Advantage for the past 10 months receiving services for my dad 3 times a week for 3 hours a day. A few times I have needed to change the days an aid comes out due to doctor's appointments and Care Advantage has been very willing to work with us. Overall the majority of the aids we have had in my parents home have been great! The aids clean, help shower, prepare lunch, do wash and play games with my dad. Our hours are different than most families - 10 - 1pm. It has been harder for Care Advantage to find aids that will consistently come out but we have achieved that goal & we are thankful.

    Our family has had Care Advantage for the last 2.5 years! Our two sweet nurses Dawn and Elayne took great care of our darling Granny. RN Stacey is phenomenal and came once a month to check in. Stacey walked us through and helped us get more care and kept our Granny comfortable until the very end. Our Granny passed two weeks ago and we miss her terribly ,but knowing we were able to keep her home with us and care for her much in part to Care Advantage makes me feel so blessed and thankful we had each and everyday with her in the comfort of our(hers too) home! Thank you is not enough for the care this company has given our family. We are heartbroken to lose our precious Granny as well as to lose her nurses that we considered family.
