Home Helpers of Raleigh has assisted us in caring for our family members, first our father, then mother after he passed away. They have been very responsive to our ever-changing needs and requests over the years and worked diligently to meet the desires of our family members in a respectful and caring way. They sought to find a caregiver that was a good match with the personalities and care needs of our family, and they check in to see if any needs have changed. They show genuine concern for the well-being of their clients. We are appreciative of the care they give our family and thus enabling them to stay in their home!

Home Helpers Home Care has been wonderful with helping our family and our rapidly changing needs. Initially the need was small, to help my dad care for my mom who has dementia. Unfortunately dad was diagnosed with rapid onset dementia so the need for care increased dramatically and suddenly. Lara and Danielle were our primary care givers. They felt like members of our family from day one. Trusting someone with your beloved parents with aging-related health issues is a very serious thing and we could not have made a better choice. We literally put our parent’s lives in their hands. And we needed someone competent, empathetic and proactive. Lara and Danielle fit all of those categories and more. The best example is that when dad was hospitalized, the caretaker that evening brought mom to the hospital to see him. Lara went out of her way to come from her home on her day off to be with them. That was so meaningful and important, we wound up putting Lara and Danielle in Dad’s funeral program. I think that says it all! Little did we know he would pass later that night so without that moment, mom and dad wouldn’t have had a final moment together.

This home help care agencyr has provided my wife and me with a highly professional nurse and support from their management . The agency has made themselves available by phone , email or text messages to assist with any questions or requests we may have. The agency is a first class organization .

Home Helpers came in to provide 24/7 hour care for my mother after she broke her hip. This included both helping her walk again as well as managing her dementia and keeping her from getting up unassisted (she couldn't remember she had broken her hip.) Lily and Cynthia and all the Caregivers were punctual, professional, and caring toward my mother. Owner Frank and operations support person Joe routinely checked on my mom and their staff at my Mom's assisted living facility. They got to know her and formed a relationship with her just like the caregivers. The next time my Mom needs help, I will not hesitate to call Frank and his team. I trust that she will be in very capable hands.

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but in this case I wanted other people to be able to feel the overwhelming relief that my sister and I did when we called Home Helpers to care for my father. I can honestly say that everyone there... the owners and the staff bent over backwards to help us any way they could. My father had reservations about anyone other than us helping him but he was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable he was with all the helpers he met! They were friendly yet professional and most importantly they didn't try to change my dad's routine... only assisted him through it. They also helped with doing his laundry and running to the store when needed and preparing meals. In our situation we needed help FAST and they were able to quickly respond with caring, intelligent, qualified people.... what more can you ask for?
