We're using Right at Home. Michelle comes to our house to do cooking for us. She goes out and buys the food for the meals, that's all. We're actually quite capable of looking after ourselves. I'm just not very keen on cooking and my family decided that I wasn't providing good enough meals for us. She comes three times a week (three afternoons). She is a very cheerful and friendly person, and she's energetic. She works hard. She cooks good food, part of it depends on the recipe, which my daughter finds the recipes for us. She's always on time. She's a very nice person.

I contacted Right at Home at the end November and Kate, the care director, came out to do the assessment and they were able to provide a caregiver the very next week. I am very pleased with the office staff as the are friendly, prompt in returning phone calls and keeping me up to date on any changes. Ashley is the caregiver they sent. She provided compassionate care to my husband and is a wonderful, caring, and kind individual. I felt very comfortable if I had to go out as she was dependable and very competent.

We are very happy with our caregiver Loni. She is very thoughtful and caring. My mom just loves her and looks forward to her coming. Mom was reluctant at first to have someone come into her house to help with care for her; however, Loni immediately made her feel comfortable. Loni has built a trusting and caring relationship with my mom. Loni is very good to mom and takes excellent care of her. She is always on time and is very focused on caring for mom. Whatever my mom needs, Loni does it with a smile. We never worry about mom when she is in Loni’s care.

I have been using Right at Home since May of 2020. It's outstanding. Excellent. They're providing us with nightshift aide support for my mother who had a stroke, so they are caring for her throughout the night. They are helping her to use the bathroom. Some nights are sleepless, so we are using aides seven nights a week. They're like they're family. My mother is very comfortable. I think they're better than family actually. My mother looks very much forward to the girl showing up in the evening. Right at Home has done an excellent job at selecting the employees that they hire because the aides that come to care for my mother are not just compassionate and empathetic, they are just genuinely very fine people, and that's not something you can train into someone. They've just been so, so, so courteous and patient with my mom and very loving and attentive, but they're also just very fine people. One more thing that came to mind, I guess thinking about other people, they're very trustworthy. That's a big deal when you're having someone come into your home, especially night shift when the patient is sleeping. When the client is sleeping, they have been extremely trustworthy.

We're using Right at Home. I'm quite happy with them. My mom has caregivers that come out. They help with her meals and with her medicines. They help her with bathing, light housekeeping, and shopping. They even take her to the doctor's if needed. They had gone out to lunch prior to coronavirus. The company themselves stay on top of everything. They will let me know if there is an issue. If I have an issue, it is settled. There is no problem. The caregivers are excellent.

I have been using Right at Home for over 4 years now. They provide services like help with showering, laundry, cooking, running errands and doctor's visits. I'm very comfortable with the caregivers. Billing is fine; my insurance pays for it. Right at Home has never let me down in terms of scheduling. I'm very happy with them because they always find someone to fill my shift. I'm also very happy with the employers at Right at Home because they're always looking for specific ways to help. With the COVID19, they have been very helpful with getting people into my house that are safe.

I used Right at Home for 3 days. They were fine. I had a surgical operation and I had a brace that I could not get into by myself. My daughter was doing but she was away for 3 days, so they came in and the girl helped get into the surgical brace. She wasn't here a long time but she was very nice.

I receive services for my husband who has had a stroke. He has no use of his left arm and walks with a cane. I have been with Right at Home for four years. Their schedulers have worked with me sending out staff that are a good fit for us. Our current caregiver is awesome. She engages my husband in conversation and makes sure he does what he needs to. She will do whatever I ask of her from cleaning the house to watering my outside plants. When she leaves my house looks and smells clean. Plus she's very good with our little dog. I would highly recommend Right at Home.

I have been using Right at Home for a year now. My overall experience is good. I have one caregiver and she is almost my sole caregiver right now and she is wonderful. I'm very pleased. Right at Home is easy to work with. I have them for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. They're taking care of my needs. They help me get washed and dressed and sometimes they take me to doctor's appointments. The personnel in the office are very nice and helpful, too. Sometimes the caregiver can't come, so they try to get somebody out to me, and sometimes it is one of their office personnels that comes.

It is a good experience with Right at Home. I have 2 caregivers for my aunt at the moment who I'm satisfied with. They do alternative days. However, on the days that they are not able to come, they always send me a new person. Unfortunately, I got tired of getting these new people. They are not trained, they come into my house and every day I have to show them what to do. Even to make a simple bed, I have to show them. I have instructed Right at Home not to send me anymore new folks should in case any of the regular ladies are not able to come in. Now every other Sunday, one of my main caregivers is not able to come to work and I'm doing without a caregiver that day. Right at Home do everything. They get my aunt out of bed, they make her bed, they clean her commode, and they bathe her. They sit with her when she is having her meals, and when she is finished, they sit and talk with her. They give me their assistance with anything my aunt needs. The two young ladies who do alternative days are good and I'm satisfied with them. My aunt is also very satisfied with them.

We have been using Right at Home. I had been through other agencies and I wasn't satisfied with them. Right at Home is one of the best ones. They help my mom with exercises and with making her bed. They also empty her bag because she has a suprapubic catheter. The caregivers are friendly. The one we have now is very friendly and she is willing to do anything. If I have an appointment, they can change the hours around. They're good about that. Their caregivers are really nice. They care about my mom and they do anything that she really needs.

We have been working with Right at Home for close to a year now. They are good. They help my wife with bathing, with washing her hair, and with some minor dressing when she can't do it. They do some cleaning, and they apply some creams to her legs and feet because my wife has plaque psoriasis. The caregivers are great. We have had a couple that were late showing up, but we don't have them any more. The one she has now is working out excellent. Everything is working out well. Also they make her bed, they empty the commode and they clean that out. It is working out well.

Upon discharge from a short stay in the hospital, my mother needed help at home until she regained her strength. Right at Home was so helpful in providing friendly, professional home health aids. We used Right at Home for in home care service for my father who has dementia. We used their services for about two years or so and recently had to move Dad into a facility due to the progression of his dementia. We had a few different caregivers over the time we used their services, but our main caregiver was Diane. It's hard to articulate in words what she meant to my family as she epitomizes what it means to truly be a caregiver. There were so many instances where she went above and beyond what was expected of her. She shared a connection with Dad that we could tell really made him feel comfortable while with her. She was always willing to adjust her schedule to accommodate our needs. I'm sure at times it wasn't easy as Dad has declined pretty rapidly in the last two years with the total time of disease progression being somewhere around probably 7-8 years at this point. We were fortunate enough to get to know Diane more and more over the time we spent with her and will genuinely miss our interactions with her. I truly believe that she defines what in home care should be because she wants to help people and that's what sets her apart. My mother and I, the two other primary caregivers for my Dad, have both worked in retirement communities for 20 and 13 years respectively so I feel we have a unique perspective on the situation. Unfortunately, I've seen the other end of the spectrum when it comes to a caregivers interactions with a client and to know we were so lucky to have someone like Diane working with my father makes me feel truly appreciative of her even more. Choosing an in home caregiver service is never an easy decision, but the owners of Right at Home seem to truly believe in what they're doing and it shows. The owners were always very supportive from the beginning and throughout the process as a whole. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone considering in home care for a loved one and am grateful for everything they've done for my family.

I love Right at Home. Annmarie is amazing from day one. She realized the things that I had problems with, especially my swallowing. I always catch her doing small things even though she doesn't think I notice. She helps me with doctor appointments and even changed her schedule to take me to a local festival I like. She has gotten me healthy again with better eating habits and trips to the YMCA for therapy which I really enjoy. The owner, Steve, and his whole staff were so compassionate and helpful to my family while my father was terminally ill. Steve conducted the initial consultation personally and remained in contact with us throughout. We worked with a number of of the agency’s caregivers (because our needs changed, not due to turnover) and every one of them was terrific. And the agency could not have been more accommodating about the changing needs. We could truly feel that Steve and his team are passionate about their mission to support families at times of need.

Keli is an amazing person and caregiver. She is kind, compassionate, and loving. My mom was a hard person to satisfy, but Keli did it! Keli often went out of her way to help Ruth, buying the cookies she liked, etc. She took Ruth to the Senior Center and Dr's appointments. She was also also able to take videos of Ruth dancing, one of the last times she was able to dance at the senior center, and shared them with the family (priceless). Keli always made sure mom was comfortable and clean. When my mom was down, Keli had a way to just cheer her up and lift her spirits. She would often stop just to check on my mom. She called her Ruthie! She made sure she ate the proper foods, and encouraged her to exercise to build her strength. She brought little gifts and flowers to cheer my mom. My mom loved Keli like another one of her children, and Keli loved her right back. All of the children were happy when they knew Keli was working, because they knew my mom would be happy to see Keli. Don't think we didn't like the other caregivers, Margo and Shaylyn, they were great as well. After my mom passed away, all the caregivers were helpful as a support to the family and help to get the viewing and funeral together. Keli stopped by often in those first few days to check on us. Keli was able to help me donate my mom's clothes and shoes to hurricane victims. Just another example of going above and beyond. I can't say enough great things not only about Keli, but all the caregivers from Right at Home.

I am happy to provide you with comments about Right at Home and Diane as my husband's caregiver. Diane is sincere and compassionate. My husband is hard to engage, but this is not a detriment to Diane. She will bring local paper to our house to discuss articles. She will work a crossword puzzle and ask his help even when she knows the answers. She will play music from her cellphone because he likes particular songs. Diane is not just passing time when she is at our home. She truly wants to give my husband a quality of life, which he could not have on his own. Aides here are a cut above the aides I've seen in other agencies. Fred communicates all issues to family. The agency is responsible for hiring the aides so the family does not have a liability issue. Only drawback, all aides are part time. Some are working their way through school. I highly recommend the agency. They are very responsive to family concerns.
