What I find very nice is that they're really helpful in agreeing with the conditions under which my mom will agree to get out of the house. Getting out of the house has made a difference in her day-to-day life. I appreciate what they've been doing. We live in an older home and my mother and I have about 40 years of ancestral brick a brack, so they're very gentle and very good with all our things, and they vacuum well. They're very thorough and handy about doing things for us as far as errands are concerned. We're very appreciative of being able to get errands done through the use of the caregivers' cars.

It depended on the caregiver. One of them was excellent and I felt I could trust them when they were there. Others weren't bad, but I wasn't as confident in them. They worked very hard to develop some consistency in my dad's care and to have the same caregiver there for as many hours as possible. My dad trusted and appreciated them. I'm not sure what the instructions to the CNA's are, some caregivers couldn't sit still, but some were comfortable sitting still. I don't think what's required of them is clear. The services made life easier because turning my loved one, and doing different dressings was hard. They had the skill to help him more than I could.

I would tell a friend that BrightStar Care is very helpful, on time, does a good job, and has very nice people. BrightStar Care helps me because they take me to my appointments, wait for me, and take me grocery shopping. I want to adopt my caregivers because they are so sweet.
