It's unfortunate that we've had such a bad experience with this company. The first assigned staff person quit. The second assigned staff person was late on more than one occasion, or even didn't show up entirely for their scheduled shift. The third staff person took a personal call during her shift for an hour. My aunt then had to go through the JFS billing department several times to make sure we were credited appropriately. (At this point, I'm still not sure if that has been resolved.) Lastly, the third staff person was not sufficiently trained in managing the needs of elder clients. Would not recommend.

I have two different caretakers. I like them both, and they have been with me for many months. One of them runs errands for me and then comes back and prepares food for me. If we have a little extra time, she does housekeeping for me, since I don't have a housekeeper yet. The other helps me bathe. She is very sweet, generous with her time, and there is never a problem. I like them both very much. JFS Care has been working with me for about a year now. Sometimes they send a caretaker out, but we don't click. I tell the agency, and they look until they find someone great for me. The only reason I lose the great ones, is because they had a better job opportunity or something.
