This agency provided care for my mom at home while she was recovering from a hip fracture. Our contact with the agency, Masami, and the care provider, Tiffany, went beyond all of my expectations for what at home care could provide. I credit both Masami and Tiffany for keeping my mom out of a nursing home and helping her recover her strength, all while being able to stay with my father.

Overall, our experience with Home Instead was very good. Their caregivers made it possible for my aunt to remain independent for an additional 6 months. They helped take a lot of the burden off me as the relative.

An excellent agency with caring ,proficient employees who are very responsible and loving when care giving. It's obvious that these employees are very well screened beforehand so that they provide specialized care for each patient. They have lifted a hugh weight off my shoulders and I trust them implicitly. This agency truly cares about the well being of your family member!!!

Thank You Home Instead for sending us the most capable , professional care givers to help me keep my husband home after heart surgery several months ago. I appreciate the fact that there is always someone on call to provide us with a substitute caregiver on the rare occasion when our regular caregiver is unable to work their shift. We will be forever grateful to this Exceptional agency!

After breaking his hip, my father spent three months in a skilled nursing facility recovering from the injury. He expressed his desire to come home, and we were able to accomplish that just about six months ago. We considered three agencies and had their care coordinators meet Dad. Nina impressed us by her caring and compassionate demeanor towards Dad, and how she talked to him, and to us. Others treated him as if he wasn't even in the room. We also felt that Home Instead could provide the resources we needed to staff caregivers 24/7. When he got home, there were a lot of details that came up that needed to be addressed. We didn't need skilled nursing, but we did need blood sugar checked, oxygen levels checked, and two care givers to assist him to get in and out of bed. Our on-site coordinator visited almost weekly to help develop the client logs we needed to keep track of all the information, and to make sure all our care givers received the most current information. As Dad's strength improved with physical therapy, Home Instead made sure the video's we took of his PT sessions were viewed by staff, so his care givers could accomplish the same exercises with him when his Physical Therapist wasn't there. This was key to getting him up and around. His caregivers have engaged him in conversation, read to him, played cards with him and fixed his meals. They've been tremendously successful in managing his diabetes with appropriate foods. They've changed him and bathed him and groomed him, all with kindness and compassion and respect. Working with Home Instead, we've been able to put in place the caregivers we feel are the best fit for our father. It took us several months to accomplish this together, and working through the challenges that his dementia posed....and now he has a consistent schedule that is comfortable for him and for our family. Home Instead, and your caring staff, have made this difficult transition as seamless as possible, and have enabled my father to return to his home of 60 years. For that, we are very grateful.

We hired Home Instead for my friend. They provide home care, companionship, meal prep, bathing, dressing, monitoring, and making sure that he's safe and able to navigate around the house. We chose Home Instead because they were professional and responded, and so far we've been really pleased with the care providers that they've sent to the house. They've been on time and dependable. The care provider has done everything possible to earn her confidence and respect, and I would say that for the most part, it's going pretty well under the circumstances. Billing has been very convenient and very easy. I don't have anything for them to improve on at this time, and I'd be happy to recommend them. They've been initially what we expected, flexible, and easy to communicate with.

Home instead had good reviews and were very responsive. There were a number of people that I contacted, and they seemed to be the best option at the time. So far, it is working out quite nicely. They responded quickly and personally. For her well-being and peace of mind, it’s a huge plus. The first caregiver was young, a little immature, and was trying to take advantage of the system, so she was replaced. The second one is an older, more mature woman. Their customer service has been responsive, very good to work with, and personal, and they've done a very good job in helping my mom.

My sister and I live out of state and needed temporary home care for our 91 year old mother in LA. Home Instead came HIGHLY recommended to me and, sure enough, they were they were superb in every way. Deanna, who is the person in charge, couldn't possibly have been more helpful and compassionate and understanding of the challenges of eldercare and IMMEDIATELY put us at ease that we were in good hands. She genuinely CARES.. The caregiver herself was also excellent. we are thrilled with this service and and will be using them regularly as needed and I would recommend them without qualification.

My dad has been a client for more than six years. His current caregiver (2 years plus) is the "Nordstrom" of caregivers. She truly cares for him and keeps me posted with detailed information re. doctor visits, moods, etc. She is very protective of him. Additionally, she leaves copious notes for any substitute caregiver. The administrative staff is very responsive in meeting my dad's needs.

I am a past client of this provider

I was first attracted to this agency by its name, Home Instead Senior Care Agency, and by its motto "To us, it's personal." Then, my first impression of the staff with whom I met was that I could trust them to take great care of my mom. I needed to set up non-medical care for my mother who was due home from the hospital after colon surgery. I was a little nervous as I was somewhat unsure of exactly what my mom needed in the way of care, since she was very independent and had never before been debilitated in any way. The agency staff supervisor was very re-assuring and helped me put together a checklist, based on their expert experience, which detailed how their referred home care provider would assist my mom and accommodate my mom's wishes. She would prepare my mom's meals, assist her with walking, keep her room tidy, and keep her company. I was so happy that, up to this point, the agency was top-notch and well designed. I was even happier when the very calm and understanding home care provider, Sharon, arrived at my mom's residence early enough to assist me with final preparations for my mom's return home. Without my prompting, she took the initiative to help me wherever she saw a need. She was a natural fit and she was good at what she did. She helped freshen my mom's bed; she even familiarized herself with and suggested positioning of toiletries, clothing and other necessities to make my mom as comfortable as possible. She greeted my mom as if they had known each other for a long time. Truly, my mom and I gained much more than a home care provider. We have a beautiful new friend.
