Some caregivers are really good but do not stick around and some are really not a good fit. They really need to find a way to have continuity. The problem is that the people who have done a good job are outweighed by the bad caregivers. They need to work on having continuity with the caregivers. We really need consistent caregivers because it's so important for us.

I am not sure how the caregivers could have had a greater impact. The caregivers helped the most by being available. I don't have any reason not to recommend the agency. I am not sure what the agency needs to improve on. I like the home care service. The availability of the service was great.

I am relieved because I know that the client is being taken care of. We were introduced to our case manager and I just loved her. She is very professional, casual, knowledgeable, and an excellent listener. I just felt very comfortable. She was upfront and she answered any questions. She was honest about what was expected.

There is nothing that they could have done that wasn't done. So much of the care depended on the personality of the people they sent. Things varied so much from person to person. It was not all consistent. The coordinator in the office was very good at her job. She responded to what was needed.

The service was not good. I would be lying in bed crawling and screaming trying to get the attention of the aides, but they just slept in the other room. I had to call my son, and he found them in a deep sleep in the other room. The caregiver stopped up the toilet by putting things down it that they are not supposed to go down.

There is nothing that is coming to mind. The only reason I didn't rate them higher is because the management was a little abrasive. I would recommend people if the person lived in the location my loved one is at. I liked how the aides took time with my loved one. However, I don't think they were totally honest about why the aides would leave. They came sick, and my loved one can't be around sick people.

Some of the nurses are very good because one nurse is very competent and has a lot of experience. In general, they are able to cover once one of the employees can't come. I wouldn't be able to take care of my mom and look after my family. I wouldn't be able to take care of my family and not be able to take care of my mom without them.

I wouldn't recommend BrightStar Care because the caregivers made us feel bad for help and sometimes there is a language barrier. When BrightStar Care were doing good, they were helpful. At the end, they weren't as helpful.
