The client is not happy and she doesn't like people around. The caregivers could have a greater impact if they could have a little more patience with a dementia patient. That's what I found the past few times I had an encounter with any of the healthcare people. They need to have patience with a patient that has dementia. They could just stay reliable and show up when they're supposed to.

The caregiver that was not a good fit was horrible. She left early one day without telling me and my mom had an accident after she left. She was always on the couch and sprayed perfume all over. They got me a new caregiver, though, so that was good. I like that they are really flexible with me and my schedule. I had a lot of changes and they were really good about it. They have really good caregivers.

I really appreciate how they check on mom during bad weather, etc. to make sure she is OK and doesn't need help.
