They're not able to assist the client out of bed. Some of the aides can clean him good and some aides just barely wipe him. Some don't lotion them down, either. They don't even ask him if he wants his teeth brushed. They don't do the hygiene I would like for them to do. The agency needs to improve their service. The consistency is so poor. I have been given 15 hours a week for my dad and we probably average out 7 or 8 hours a week. Now and then we may get a full week but that's not happening.

I contacted them ahead of time to let them know I was coming into town to meet them. There was a miscommunication, because after we started care I was told they would come at different time than discussed.

Sometimes I have to do my own laundry because she will come and go early. I thought she was supposed to come at 12 but the last time she came, she came at 11:30. It is always a different time. When she comes in she will put the laundry in the washing machine, but then she sits in the chair and goes to sleep.

I like my caregiver, and I do not have to tell her what to do. The caregivers that fill in do not know what they are supposed to do, and I have to tell them every move to make. They are also on their phone. They need to quit lying to me. I have a girl that is supposed to come see me three times a week. Every week they call me and tell me that my caregiver has an appointment at the dentist or orthodontist that she has to be at. I know that she is lying to me, and if she is going to be out, she will tell me. They take my caregiver off of me at least once a week.

I have a CNA and they called on her an hour or two before she was supposed to be here, and that is the time that she is supposed to leave here, and that just wouldn't work. They can keep their schedule the same as much as they possibly can. They also need to let me know in plenty of time if they are changing so I can make it match my schedule.

I've had to let go of several people and the people in the office were not professional about it. My family member has a good caregiver working for them now.
